Wonderful place to enjoy your time and enjoy playing your favorite slots and games. Awesome employees and helpful security that they are making sure that you have your masks on at all times. Amazing two employees in the gift shop a beautiful female employee and a awesome male employee both are awesome and amazing.
They have a great rewards program. Beer and drinks are high. Never won. If your looking too win something go elsewhere. Their is a reason they give out so much free play.
This is my favorite casino in the desert. I hit every time I go. Smoking is allowed. Thats a bonus.
Actually it was my first time there. I found it to be pretty pleasant. There was good machines, friendly people and really had a good time. Wasnt crowded, but that was good. My family and I had a good time Amy daughter and I came up,Yay!!
We had an awesome time there! Very clean casino, personnel always cleaning all machines and seats after they see customer leave the gaming machine! I strongly recommend you going there for lots of fun!! Always remember to bring your mask,nd before you can have your car park they will check your temperature. Definitely 5stars
Love spending time at Spotlight Casino, enjoy the employees and their Security Staff always polite and very helpful.
One of my favorite casinos. We live over 70 miles away thats one way lol. With their renovation going on its still a fun place. Cant wait to see their new look. They are always sanitizing their machines which is a nice feeling. People are practicing social distancing. I highly recommend them.
It improved alot .There still working on it but, it look like its gonna give the other casinos competition
Cool place to park my semi truck and invite my family to eat there when I drive thru. Thanks.
My favorite casino. Great slots. $5 blackjack, and the best prime rib. $10 buffet great value. Prime rib, enchiladas, bread pudding, my favorite. Good quality fresh made food. I travel N America casinos year round and I have this on my top 3 list of favorites. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Clean restrooms, casino and grounds. Cant wait to return.
There is no social distancing there. But its a fun place !
Right now the Casino is being renovated, so its very small, but quaint. There restaurants are closed and there is only a small pre-made sandwich eatery place I was told they are soon to completely open to its normal gaming place , of course under the covid19 restrictions, as they are doing now.
The Casino looks like nothing major outside but once you go in its very nice. I recommend it. Nice selection of 1 penny machines. My favorite part!? It had very beautiful and clean restrooms!
People were very nice but didnt win any money but loved the food it was great
I really like this casino. The show room is really good too. I havent been in the restaurant, but Ive been told the food is great. The gift shop has a nice collection of goods. The bottom line is I recommend it!
Great employees, very kind and helpful. Machines were tight tonight, you cant win all the time.
We received discounts for buffet, but the buffet wasnt open,?? Is this what they call false advertising. Manager had no explanation didnt know what to do.
Hit the gaming floor at dawn. Turned out to be the perfect time to access all of are preferred games and the payout prove to be better than other unnamed Indian casinos. Everyone in the party enjoyed the experience and left with smiling faces. I could only hope that future excursions are of such caliber.
Stopped in on a Saturday to watch a concert Ramon Ayala. The show tickets were priced reasonably the Concert was great Ramon is an excellent musician. The drink prices were also reasonably priced compared to other concerts and shows. Had dinner in the buffet although the buffet is not as big as other casinos the food was very good here. There was a band in the casino were we danced and had lots of fun. We did some gambling on the slots and actually came out $200 bucks ahead better than Vegas odds. We will be back again to this spotlight in the desert.
Nice place, they are checking your temperature before you park. Not many tables open, played black jack, lost $100 in 5 hands. Dealer had 20 or 21 everytime. There is 18 wheeler parking. So it gets 4 stars for that!
Buffet was fantastic. Included decent prime rib and was only $9.99 for lunch or dinner, with plenty of other good food as well. Best buffet Ive had at this price point in a long time.
Wont be coming back. Played about 3 hours of $100 to $300 hands of blackjack. About $1000 in slots in one trip. Only comped 50 bucks. Thats not the issue. I wanted to sit down and eat. Lady told me it would be 30 mins. I came back to eat and they told me the dining area was now closed off. I had to order to go which took an additional 30mins. If they would have told me up front, I would have been ok. I will use one of the many other casinos near by as my stopping point
It was alright not much on gambling but if you like a good drink youll get one there for sure just remember designate a driver
Ladies and gentlemen the Spotlight is back... smoking included! The cafe is open with above fair pricing on all items and great portions, excellent servers.
No social distancing, smoking and some with mask off.
Its ok. Plenty of slot machines and table games. Food choices are very limited. Bring your own food!
Employees were attentive, restroom was very clean, everyone wore face masks and kept social distance, a nice experience!
Good place to park, good food, fun games!
Came is for breakfast. Got a breakfast burrito but it came very oily. I had better burito in trashy places than here. Restaurant dont serve buffet anymore. Do not try their burrito.
Its small casino not too many food choices as far as eating the slots are just like all the other casinos sometimes theyll pay but for the most part theyll just take your money. That is why its important to have good eateries to at least enjoy your visit while you lose your money
Nice Casino to visit its very clean.Had a good time with friends.
I go there for the breakfast buffet made to order omelettes and Prime rib!!Are you kidding me all you can eat Prime rib and eggs for under $11!, If U have your Casino rewards Card. Anyway it is always very clean and the staff is very nice and friendly highly recommend this place, drinks are included coffee, juice, tea, soda!! AH-MAY-ZING!!!
Busy.. no luck with 40$ for me.. for you good luck, cause you never know till you try
Jem Cafe was fabulous! Relaxed atmosphere, wait staff was excellent and the food and drinks were awesome. Definitely a go to place for an enjoyable relaxed evening.
Good experience. Plenty of space, but could have used more hand sanitizing stations.
We took friends for breakfast. Have menu only option for daily breakfast. Prices high for quality served. Hardly anyone there. If dont get their act together dont see how they can keep space open. Need a smart food service director to bring menu out of the doldrums. Innovation needed instead of the tired items offered
Great food and buffet, I have been here before.
Ive seen 2 great shows here. There is not a bad seat in the house. I highly recommend it.
I would prefer that no one choose to come to this casino being that when the generators went out at one point in time I was not able to receive my money back from the machine all the while having to wait 3 hours and its still not up and running and when trying to get information they were so overwhelmed they did not have anything together Im a diabetic and due to my ability to not be able to stay longer than the 3 hours because there was no telling when the generators were going to kick start back up I had to leave into a pitch black dark garage where my car was parked and just overall I had the most horrible experience ever
Great experience great food great service
Buffet was very good. Clean bathrooms and I liked the many hand sanitizer stations all over. Queen Nation put on helluva performance - this 64 yr old danced 4# off! Afterwards I ventured to the machines thinking for second time in my life (1st was Vegas in 96) would discover what luck might be found in gambling.None as far as Im concerned. I lost my money in 20 minutes of pushing a stupid button. But what made me sad was looking around at the folk with faces a glow from games lights flashing in front of them, cigarette dangling from their lip, drink in their hand, and the very LOUD room(s)! The din hurt my ears. Couldnt wait to escape the artificial and physically uncomfortable environment.Id go to another dinner and show but not so much as another dimes bet from this gal.
This is the third time in a row that I have played over 30.00 without going to a single bonus round. I was playing between .5 and ..20 per spin. I can remember going to play around 11pm on the weekend and experiencing the same thing. It appears that the Casino simply flips a switch and starts taking in the cash, eliminating the players chances to win. I pay attention to how things work and know for certain that they engage, along with other casinos, butin unnecessary and deceptive profit increasing practices. This will be my last time playing slot machines at this casino.
Casino was cool just like any casino around the area. Buffet is over priced for the selection they have. I wouldnt eat here again. Eat before coming here.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. BEST casino in the entire valley. Go to spot light first and you will soon see there is no need to go anywhere else. The ONLY thing missing at Spotlight 29 is a Spotlight Hotel. Maybe some day they will include that because even the locals would spend the night or weekend. Everyone loves Spotlight 29. Check it out!
Buffet is wonderful. Great customer service. Gambling is fun lots lots of slot machines.. so the place to be is spotlight 29
Great shows and gaming of course
We loved going to this place. All kids are able to get in to Cafe Capitata. Prices are great. 9.99 for players card holders. Its very easy to get a players card. The only bad thing is food is always the same. Waitresses are awesome.
My mom and I went to see Bill Engvall and had a wonderful time. It was easy to hear and see him. We had pretty good seats, but there were monitors on either side of the stage that made it so everyone could see him clearly, though honestly the way it was laid out, there wasnt a bad seat in the house. There was even a little bar where you could get anything but blended drinks, which makes sense. You dont want a blender going during a show. We didnt go around the actual casino or restaurants so I cant speak to those, but as far as the Spotlight Theatre goes, it was fantastic. Would definitely go again. Especially compared to Fantasy Springs theatre, that place was miserable!
A little far for me from orange county but it was alright not much selection on beverages to drink or snacks crowded but very clean
Great music like always slots opened up we all came home winners
My wife and I have been going to Spotlight 29 long before it was the big casino it is now (over 25 years). We were extremely happy to receive $62 for my wife and $42 for me for use in the gift shop. Or, we could have gotten $15 dollars and $10, at the most, in free play if we chose that option. So, we went to gift shop and were shocked that not even the smallest gift was under $65. An example was a shaker bottle for the bar. I looked that item up online and the most expensive one was $39. And, Im sure that those gifts are left over from giveaways. WOW!! And, the music on weekends in the main casino is so loud, you can hardly think. And, its the same music every time!! I couldnt hear the names being called for the half hour giveaways on June 29. There are snow birds and older folks that frequent the casino during giveaways and dont like such loud music.
The spotlight 29 casino is awesome it is nice and clean so many slots to play. The machines pay off really good
Great casino enjoy coming here always
Enjoyed a night off! Prime Rib on the buffet is Good! Cant beat the price 9.99. I cant seem to win on the new machines, but they have a large number of older ones that I can usually get lucky on. Sometimes I lose, but I love to stop by and try my luck!
We always like stopping there. Love how clean it is and the covered parking. Overall a great atmosphere. Lets not count the bar out with their great service and friendly bartenders. We will definitely be back!
Love this place lots of machines and live music soooo much fun
Good cheep prime rib buffet. Havent been lucky gambling here in quite awhile.
If youve had one buffet here youve had them all. Never seems they change anything. I have seen some wins in the casino but Id like to see them allow bigger Wagers and some of their Penny machines. Staff is nice, places cleaned frequently. It has an odd layout but the perks are good!
Great buffet for the money!Get the players card and you will save $5 each on the buffet.I love to get the fried chicken here, so delicious and crispy! The prime rib is also very good - I like it thick cut.Desserts are ok too, especially the bread pudding. Its a nice small casino so we love to play some slots here too when we stop here for dinner, although it is a little smoky.
Love this place. Very nice staff. Cheep Cigarettes. Great selection of drinks. Decent prices.
Had a good time. Broke even. Wanted to stay a little longer and have a coffee and dessert, but the only place to eat was the buffet. Oh well. Well still come back. People that work here are so friendly and courteous. Makes you feel good.
Went in with no expectations to win and came way out on top. The food at the buffet was also delicious. Free when you win a jackpot.
They only have like 50 games. Why open right now, when they arent equipped for the Covid19 situation? Should have waited. IJS
Terrible place to gamble. Do not go to this place. There are plenty of other casinos that will not surround you with security guards for winning a little money at the tables.
Nice new machines. Went for breakfast buffet. Ten minutes too late. Had to wait 40 min for 11:30 lunch. It was good could have better selections for desert. Will get comp card and play next time.
Didnt like the smokers. Should step outside until crisis dies down
It was a lot of fun
One of the decent casino buffets in the area. It has a small selection given the price minus the discount. The freshness of the food makes up for this. Would recommend this place for trying their breakfast buffet only.
Nice. Not a lot to do on weekdays. Some of the facilities were dated. Parking is excellent for drivers. No good casual restaurant choices. They didnt serve food at the bar. I will try again if by on a weekend.
Amazing the changes seen here recently. Updating all around. Still quiet on a Wednesday night. Though that can be attributed to the time of year. Great service from all you encounter here.
It was good, venue for the concert was awesome. Good seats anywhere you sit.
Lots of machines and table games food is good buffet 9.99 with players card and friendly dealers
It was ok. Casino is nice.
In a machine i was playing on the line E-701 9072,started with a problem blinking..I ask the manager to see in to..He just ignore me, dont even apologize for it..I noticed that was another machine wit problem.., if something is wrong with the computer should not be used.. i believe is soooooo wrong. A Investigation by Authorities have to be done.
It shocked my sister and I. Passing for years. It had great food and her gaming went so good for her. She loved the machines
Spotlight is the best casino around great food friendly staff slots pay off
The lunch buffet was good, very surprised with the quality of the prime rib, which was better than most Las Vegas buffets. Five stars for doing it right, even if the overall variety was average. Come for the prime rib and you wont be disappointed.
It was insulting! Very disappointed. My sister and i decided to come here for mexican mothers day, Go to the buffet and maybe play a little after. Well, they raised the price for the buffet and it was not worth it. Thats how you show us mothers appreciation by serving canned, and frozen foods. The only thing good was the ice cream. The waitress was very nice. We enjoyed the music too. But the food. YIKES!
Accesible parking available, including Valet. Great environment. Food and drinks available. Went with my family, they had a blast. Enjoyed this Casino over others that tend to be condensed with Cigarette smoke. Great customer service and nice staff.
Had a great time got to walk out with some money
Not too crowded. Nice, clean. Avg pays
It was ok but the machines werent paying off
We didnt win, but it was a nice casino. Seemed clean, up to date with a $9.99 (with players card) prime rib buffet! The prime rib was excellent, tender and tasty. Some of the other items were ok. Their salad bar was very good. So, if you you like salad and prime rib you wont be disappointed.
The smoke isnt good inside
Very disappointed with the way we were treated when we went for the advertised prime rib dinner. We were told it would be $18.99 since it was a holiday. This was Friday evening and they stated it was for Mothers Day. Yes, it does state except for holidays however the holiday was Sunday. They then stated to come back on Saturday and it would be the advertised 9.99. When inquiring which holiday they were observing they stated. Mexican Mothers Day. The last time I checked a map, California was still part of the United States. We were in town from Phoenix and this is the first time I experienced this type of discrimination. We will not be making Spotlight 29 a stop when we visit Palm Springs.
We went to the daily $9.99 prime rib buffet. It is open all day, and they bring out the carved meats at lunch time. Some very fresh vegetable sides, a nice salad bar, and a dessert bar. The value is great and the food is good and freshly prepared. Even worth driving a little out of the way for, and they have plenty of free parking.
