There are 4 places here: Art Gallery (free), Natural Sciences Museum (free), Planetarium ($5 Tuesdays at 6:30PM), and a performing arts theater/ playhouse. Art gallery is 500 square feet +- with 30 paintings+- & 10 sculptures+- on the day I visited. The Natural Sciences museum is excellent and takes 1-2 hours to see it all / read the signs. (Dinosaur, geology, archaeology, tons of shells.)
A great place to take your kids. Also a great place for adults to learn too. It has many things to offer from live theater to a art gallery, to a history museum, to a planetarium. My wife and i got to check out some things including the art gallery, which was quite nice. It was cool that they had so many things in one spot. Will definetly be back.
Very interesting set of places on the local college campus.
It has so many wonderful and beautiful things to see,such as art,(of all kinds), and the museum is full of all kinds of animal,butterfly,and shell exhibits! There is also a planetarium attached where you can see scheduled shows with a theatre-like experience of watching the stars on the ceiling. Ive heard that the astronauts used to do part of their training there. A nature trail can even be found next to the parking lot in a pretty wooded area. Its just WONDERFUL place!
Nice place to visit, the staff is very knowledgeable/ friendly and the gift shop has reasonably priced items.
Love coming here! They change their gallery fairly regularly and I appreciate all the amazing local art! Great free activity

Brazosport is chock full of exceptional talent in all areas of the arts and science is. Its a wonderful place to raise children. The Center for the arts and sciences is a special gift to the community.
The spirit of a city is expressed through its Arts Organizations. Fine spirit, excellent expression here.
FREE!!!!!! More sea shells than you can cut well displayed and labled. SUPER KID FRIENDLY. Some dinosaur bones, ton of butterflies, kid play section. ..... a must after long car trip down here
