Great swimming lessons for kids

I love the Clinton YMCA! We take advantage of the Swim Team and Archery! My daughter has loved both.

YMCA Clinton ,MS- the People, staff and trainers are polite , professional and the place is clean.It doesn’t have many of the amenities as the other YMCA’s ( indoor pool, hot tubs, basketball court and/or full size indoor soccer field.) but it cost the same. You have to go to YMCA in Flowood for more training, better facility and equipment.

Ive been a member of this YMCA for 12 years and through ups and downs the community and family feel of this gym cant be beat. The fellowship and support helped me lose 50 lbs and keep it off for 10 years.Id pick the tight knit community feel over a glossy new space any day but do wish that the building would be refurbished. There has been progress on that front lately.

Great place to work out

I have been attending the Clinton YMCA for 1.5 years now, and I have to say, this is the worse gym I have ever given hard-earned money to. Where do I start?1) They advertise an indoor lap pool, but in reality it is only available 50% of the time, so either call, or roll the dice buddy.2) Even when the pool is in operation, it is absolutely filthy and the temperature fluctuates dramatically, which can be extremely dangerous.3) The upstairs track is caving in due to water damage from a leaking roof that they will not repair.4) The open hours changes from week to week and depending on what social events are going on, there may be no one in attendance.5) Even if the hours were static, like a normal business, they are completely inconvenient, closing on 3 or 4 pm on Saturday and 8 or 9 during the week. Which is it? Roll the dice.Word of advice if you join this gym. Get good insurance and bring some dice!
