An outstanding display of the history of the first desegregated public high school in the South. Films and exhibits (and maybe individuals from the time like on our visit today) tell the story.

The historical significance of being able to visit and breath the air of culture, community and the true history and gift to the ideals of America made by the descendants of the kidnapped Black Africans. Just another reason why African American History must be included in the mainstream curriculum.

Fascinating center. Worth the trip off of the interstate to hear the story of the Clinton pioneers. The whole story is told both the good and the bad which is so important.

A very neat and educational tribute. The building the museam is in was origonally a segregated elementary. The history is priceless. Free! Make sure to finish your sidetrip with a lunch at Hoskins. Its a pharmacy with an old soda shop diner inside. Food was great and the atmosphere was a once in a lifetime experience.

I really enjoyed our family visit here. My 4th and 6th grader were engaged by the short film and the scavenger hunt. I took time to read the many narratives about the days surrounding the Clinton 12 and the bombing of Clinton highschool and learned so much. The museum is small, but we took about an hour to read and experience it all. Definitely worth a visit and a donation.
