I was one of the first members of CareFree Boat Club at the Clinton Connecticut location. Eric and Tara have always gone above and beyond to ensure I receive the best service.Everyone at the club is super friendly and knowledgeable.I love being able to dock the boat, pack up, and go home. Carefree Boat Club takes care of everything for me. They clean the boats after every trip and ensure the boats are in excellent condition.One of the biggest advantages of being a member is I can go to ANY CareFree Boat Club. Outside of the 5 locations they have in Connecticut, they might have 70+ other clubs. I travel to Florida almost every winter and take advantage of the multiple boat clubs they have there.I can not speak highly enough about CareFree Boat Club.

It took us a few years to commit to joining a boat club, but once we met Tara during our tour- the decision was easy. Tara is welcoming and honest- which is a rare but effective trait for any sales person/manager.A great perk of joining the club is having the on-water training. We were always concerned on buying a boat ourselves without any experience, and not getting the training we needed. Carefree trains you until you are ready. That’s when we met Eric. My husband and I went out together and individually until we were deemed ready with Eric. He is knowledgeable, patient and fun, but mostly makes you feel comfortable. He is a natural trainer! We have just started, so I can’t talk about the reservation system or our experiences going out on our own- but our time so far has made me feel that our investment into the club will be worth it. With Tara and Eric, we already feel a part of this community!

Completing my third full year as a member. I can’t say enough good things about this club. From the owners to the staff, the level of service and how we are treated is exceptional. We have made countless memories as a family. The quality of the fleet continues to improve every year and the noting experience is really great overall. Pulling into the dock and walking away is truly a “Care Free” experience. Cedar Island is also a perfect spot with great access to Long Island Sound. The facilities are also top notch. I highly recommend this club and would hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to get on the water!

I join this year , the staff on the dock is the best Tara, Eric , the boats are new and spotless . This is the best way to have a boat without the cost of maintenance , docking etc... looking forward to next season

Great value and service from Tara arranging my tour of the dock to Eric handling my boat training. Highly recommend joining even if you have no experience in boating given that training is included in your membership. This is a cost effective way to get into boating if you don’t know where to start. Looking forward to our family adventures. I still dont have experience with scheduling since I just finished m training. I will update my review in a couple of months.

My friends and I have been members for 3 years and love this club. Staff is always efficient and super friendly. So much more convenient than owning your own boat and having to maintain it.. boats are always ready, clean and available! Thanks carefree

I have never been to a more organized boat club than Clintons Carefree boat club! All of the staff members were so kind and hospitable. Its very easy to get out on the water, the boat is ready when you arrive and all gassed up. We caught some fish and grilled it right on the boat! Ace was very helpful when we signed up, I recommend this club to all.

I owned a boat for many years and when it was time to look into getting another boat, I heard about the Carefree Boat Club. A friend of mine and myself did a little investigating to find out more information. We looked into the other boat club and wanted to compare. After attending the open house for Carefree Boat Club, we decided to become members. We have been going out fishing as well as just going out for a nice boat ride almost every weekend. It is so convenient. We set up a date and time to reserve the boat online and when we arrive, we are greeted by one of the staff. The boat is all set and ready to go. When we return, we call into let the staff know that we are coming in and they are waiting for us at the dock. After docking, they clean up and wash down the boat while we are on our way home. Great way to enjoy boating without all the hassles. In addition, we have been catching a lot of fish. Nothing like fresh fish on the grill the same day that you catch it. Something everyone should look into if you are looking into getting a boat. It is extremely cost effective, easy, and convenient.

My family and I became members of the Carefree Boat club early this summer and we just cant get enough of it! We have taken it out almost every week or two this summer, they are very flexible and have a wide variety of boats to choose from. Theres no hassle of taking care of your own boat because they do all the work! I recommend this club to everyone!

Carefree boat club is totally awesome all the staff and everybody involved is right on point .I tried to take out a boat every week and have never been turned down. This concept of renting a boat is a no-brainer there’s nothing better when you hand the keys over at the end of your day and everybody takes care of everything for you filling up gas and cleaning the boat.

Our family loves carefree boat club. we love how they have made boating so easy and affordable . Thanks guys.
