We are big fans of the Iowa Freedom Rocks, BTW there will be one in every county, at last peek there are only 4 left to paint. This is a great park, although right now there are a lot of improvements going on. Lots of walking trails, the Showboat, I think used to be a casino, and there are also geo-caching opportunities, another outside hobby we enjoy!
Im proud of our town. Riverview park is cleaner and feels safer. I love the free wifi on the river and the friendly public works personnel!

Clintons overview park has been constantly evolving, expanding and getting better since its development in early 70s after our levy was completed.This is a wonderful place to bring the kids, ride a bike, take a walk, pictures by the fountain.Bring the family or your favorite book and enjoy the outside in one of Clinton, Iowas premiere parks.

Clintons riverfront is beautiful..Riverview Park is great to take the kiddos to play..play equipment, tennis courts, swimming pool, fountain, skate park..The Clinton bandshell has some really great events/bands that play there too. Riverview park & all are wonderful assets to Clinton!
Great area for soccer, Lil too much walking for ppl who have issues in that area though. Atmosphere is busy with families, lots going on. Only concern is that why are pets allowed at these events? Im a dog lover, but I feel this is not a place to bring your dogs. Especially when there are a lot of people especially kids. Disaster waiting to happen. Someone could get hurt. Friendly dogs can get overwhelmed by too much going on around them. My opinion.

It is just a really nice park for say a picnic or just throwing a frisbee around.
Very scenic. The water fountain is beautiful and the bandshell is great for concerts. The Lumber Kings stadium is nearby and easily accessible.

Love spending my early mornings here whether it be walking, running, photographing the sunrise, or just enjoying my organic cup of coffee. It is very peaceful during these early morning hours and the regulars you see are very friendly. It is also handicap accessible. The litter is saddening though. There are numerous trash cans along the way so please use them.
Great views of river, pretty water fountains, occasional music at bandshell, boatdocks, walking path, swimming pool, Showboat theater, Lumber Kings minor league baseball and more!!!

Took my grandson swimming but we were not allowed to sit inside and watch him swim they were charging us $5 even if we didnt want to swim we still had to pay $5 to sit and watch him swim they had spots where you could actually sit and watch but they wont allow was in there so we sat outside of the fence you shouldnt be charged money if you dont want to swim

I I always enjoy a walk around the park with my dog. It is a beautiful view of the Mississippi River, the bandshell, the Lumberkings Stadium, the fountaIn, the swimming pool the Snhowboat and Candlelight Restaurant. We love it.

Awesome for a little town to have all the things that it does. On a drive of manicured Grass thats a Mile in Length. With RV spots to hook up. Showers, bathroom. Huge Water Fountain (about 40ft in diameter) With the multiple center columns of water Changing Color to several Colors.Then a Real Paddle Wheeler on land that you can tourAlso there are Many Different PLAYS on there Stage inside the boat. Thid is s good time to take care of Pictures both Insife & Outside.Then Swimming pools ( one huge one for the masses. The other is like 12 ft Deep) for going off the 3 High Diving Boards (1 is a Tube) Next is the Tennis Courts ( 7 of them,all FREE) Then a Skate board Park thats Free. Next a kiddie park with merry go round etc. Next is a War Memorial Fountain with 5 columns of water shooting up about 8 ft. At the South End of the Drive is a Museum with Alot of Memories of Clinton Preserved. Like the Original Cement Signs of many Schools. Saint Marys Church that was used for 125 yrs. History of Clinton that Back in the 1800s had more Lumber Mills per capital than Any other Town in THE WORLD. So Come and see what Clinton Riverview Park has to offer to you.

No picnic tables in the shade. The trail has a shade pavilion with nothing under it? The RV park next to the railroad tracks is $20 a night for water and electric. Bathrooms were some of the worst in the country according to my 11 year old son.
