We have used LJDJs on various occasions. Ricardo has always rocked it! He is not only an incredible DJ, but an awesome entertainer! He makes the non-dancer dance! My wife and I had our wedding in July of 2018. The review is a little late but LJDJs were absolutely fantastic. They were able to mix my wifes pakistani heritage with my Portuguese heritage so well. Everyone had a great time and they honestly could not have been any better. If youre looking for a DJ/event planner you need to use LJDJs.

We had been to many weddings where a lot of them felt exactly the same and not authentic to the wedding day vibe or couple. We knew we wanted a company that would bring our vision to life vs. their own. LJDJ did exactly that. Not to mention, they have the piano DJ booth which really reeled us in... it was stunning!Jack & his team took the time to carefully craft the event with us start to finish. IT IS MORE THAN JUST THE MUSIC. Remember, you spend your entire wedding day with this team... Its about the ambience created, keeping a pulse on the guests mood throughout the evening, showing off the love of the couple... all while creating a party atmosphere. Jack obsessed every detail of the wedding day vision and decor to ensure the entertainment reflected all of it. We had Edison bulbs on the digital wall, a custom projected monogram, greenery and candles on the piano DJ booth to match our table decor, you name it - the list goes on and on. Although, the surprise sparklers for our first dance, might have been the icing on the cake...It took a full on TEAM to pull this event off and it was worth every ounce of planning. Every member of the LJDJs team was professional, organized and a BLAST to work with, sincerely. LJDJs made our wedding unforgettable and something all of our guests still talk about today !! I hired Jack and his team for my wedding in June 2019. He did my aunts wedding 10 years ago, and my aunt was very happy with his services. His business has grown significantly since then and the moment my husband and I met him for our first consultation, we knew they were the ones we wanted to MC and DJ our wedding. He made us feel comfortable and was never pushy with his additional services. We like that LJDJs offers not just DJ and MC services, but a whole array of add-ons such as up-lighting, photo booths, piano DJ booth upgrade, intelligent lighting. He even partners with a fantastic photographer/videographer duo (which we hired directly through LJDJs). Jack was also very easy to reach via email and text leading up to the wedding. Our final meeting was a very detailed and organized breakdown of the entire wedding day. We left feeling very confident that our wedding was in good hands.Jack and team delivered beyond what we expected the day of our wedding. He played what we asked him to play (and didnt play what we asked him not to play). He engaged our guests in ways I didnt even think of. For example, he asked everyone to wave their napkins as my husband and myself made our grand entrance at the reception hall. Just small details like that that make LJDJs stand out. Jack knew how to keep the guests engaged and dancing all night. We had last minute changes in the bridal court order and first dances the day of the wedding, all of which Jack handled smoothly and without any issues. We definitely made the right choice in hiring them and will hire them for any future parties we may throw.

Ricardo of LJDJs DJd my moms 60th birthday party 2 nights ago. I must say from the moment the party began through the last minute before it was lights out, Ricardo was nothing but entertaining, professional, and so much fun. He got everyone dancing and kept the party live. His great sense of humor had everyone laughing. Will definitely use Ricardo again.

I booked LJDJs for my wedding this past Thursday (August 29, 2019) at Perona Farms. They were amazing. Jack and Ricardo got everyone dancing and partying like it was a Saturday night wedding. They were friendly, helpful, and provided amazing service from day 1. We love many genres of music and they were able to deliver. From soca, to merengue, to 90s they knew the right jams and tunes. I highly recommend you book them for your event. They will not disappoint!

One thing that was my #1 priority, above my dress, the venue, photos, etc - was the DJ! I must have sat with at least 8 different DJs/companies in the course of 2 months. I researched extensively, read a ton of reviews and had a note pad of questions when meeting with each DJ. Ricardo from LJDJ was our first DJ we met with, right away my husband, Carlos insisted we choose him. I did love his passion and energy but I wanted to make sure we did not make an impulsive move on something that mattered so much to me. After meeting with about 7 other DJs - my mind kept going back to Ricardos energy and enthusiasm. Besides seeing how invested he gets in his craft, I loved his compassion and immediate friendship - my father had passed a month before my engagement so when I met Ricardo, it was a few months fresh from my dads passing - he instantly came up with creative and honorable ideas to keep my fathers memory present in the wedding (at my request). No other DJ seemed to really care or be that invested. We went ahead and picked Ricardo - best decision! I drove him nuts and even the day of the wedding had a bridezilla moment here and there but regardless of my crazy - he was like that big brother I never had. Making sure we were happy & helping make my father/daughter dance (I danced with the closest men in my life) memorable & sweet. All my guests were dancing from beginning to end - literally. I still get told by all my guests (200 of them) that they have not had that much fun in a wedding & have not seen a dance floor so packed from start to end - no exaggeration. I promise you - you will not regret going with LJDJ & please I urge to ask for Ricardo - he won entertainer of the year award for a reason!! Best team ever. Ricardo and his team at LJDJ’s were with out a doubt the best DJ/MC EVER! Ricardo’s meticulous attention to details, professional pre-event planning, overall care and concern for our wishes, made our event one of the best and memorable gatherings I’ve ever hosted. Ricardo knows his audience, tastefully engages them and creates an unbelievably fun environment! The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. Our guest danced so much until they physical couldn’t dance anymore! Not only did he insure nothing stood in the way of our plans (Hall limitations) but he push the limit and over exceeded all our expectations! Everyone could not stop talking about how great he was. Jorge and Jack were awesome! We heard about LJDJs by word of mouth and they came with great recommendations. We worked with Jorge, who came out of retirement for our wedding, and he was GREAT! I am a Russian Jew with a large Russian family and my husband is an American white boy from Pennsylvania who hunts and fishes. The hardest part of wedding planning was creating a reception that all of our guests would enjoy. Jorge went out of his way to make sure we incorporated both cultures into our reception and played songs that everyone would like. He spent a lot of time with us and reassured me multiple times the week before the wedding that he had everything under control. He played every song we requested and had a good mix up at the wedding. Everyone had a great time! My one complaint, which is not Jorge nor LJDJs fault, is that I was supposed to come out to the traditional Here Comes the Bride which I was really excited about; however, for whatever reason, the strings which were hired by LJ, played some other song that sounded nothing like the one I was expecting! Make sure to confirm you have the right music if you use LJ for your ceremony! Otherwise, everything was great! Thanks again Jorge!!!!
