Such a cool place to go both for kids and adults.Me and my husband had a blast here. We spent 5 hours in here and worth every second. Was super affordable!!!!! Definitely a place to go to.Make sure you have a full free day because theres so much to do here. Lots of hands on things, and would want to go through there slowly and not rush.Great science center and LOVE the Nasa section.

As a 2021 bride, it’s been pretty stressful planning without knowing how this pandemic will play out come next year. Linda, the event manager, has been absolutely amazing. She has went above and beyond with everything so far and is constantly reminding me to keep my head up and keep moving forward with the process unless we absolutely need to make changes. Linda is professional, prompt in all communication, readily available, and flexible. She even helped me with vendor recommendations. She truly cares about all of her couples and that’s just what makes her so fantastic. As a bride, it’s so nice to turn everything over to her on our wedding day, so I can relax and enjoy the magic of the day! I highly recommend having your wedding at the Great Lakes Science Center. Everything about this venue is beautiful.

My son (13) and I loved the Science Center. We visited in August of 2020 and despite Covid, everything but the great lakes ore freighter was open. They have a lot of hands-on things to illustrate ideas in science so with a little help, kids can come away from there with a better understanding of science. They have an enclosed parking structure and a reduced price for visitors. They are closed during Browns games (when fans are allowed) so look for that. They have a decent cafe with pizza and sandwiches and a gift shop with lots of cool stuff. I will definitely be going again.

Great place to go as adults, or with young children. There are a myriad of exhibits, all of them fascinating. Currently, when you book tickets online, you select a time to arrive, and you can stay until close. We were able to purchase tickets for one of the Dome Theater shows (Bear Rainforest), and it was incredible! The Body Worlds exhibit was very interesting, and for visitors who dont have a healthcare background, it was very informative. Overall, interesting and very neat for us nurses.

We went to see the bodies exhibit. I thought it had less content than the the one we visited years ago. It was educational . The entire building temperature inside was to hot for us and the children. A broken toilet paper dispenser hit me on the head. I was expecting more people cleaning. There were many hands on things for the children. Awesome place for learning and physical activity!

Hold off on your trip. This place is not coping well during the pandemic. Many rooms and attractions are closed or off-limits. Displays that are available are often broken, not working, or missing parts. We were really sad to see the state of disrepair the museum is in. Hopefully when things get better, so will the museum. Have many happy memories here

My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding ceremony/reception at GLSC. It was the perfect place for a couple that loves Science. The harbor view made a beautiful Backdrop for their ceremony. Everyone told us how much fun they had interacting with the exhibits during cocktail hour. Linda was great to work with, she even provided ideas for the reception seating chart and responded quickly to my mother of the bride questions. Linda was very reassuring and courteous to work with seeing that my daughter’s wedding was during a pandemic! The in-house catering where Rosemary created a custom menu with thoughts from the bride & groom was absolutely delicious! The reception area atrium with the large glass windows was an absolutely stunning area to eat & dance the night away! The views looking out at the harbor and Rock Hall were perfect for photo ops! I would highly recommend GLSC venue if you’re looking for something unconventional and fun!

Our family had a fantastic time at the science center today! We had to pre-register a time slot to go and I decided on the first time slot of the day at 10:00 a.m. and Im so glad that I did. We got there just as the science center opened and they quickly checked us in including offering us masks, although we had brought our own, it was nice that they had them on hand. They took everybodys temperatures to make sure no one was feeling under the weather and they had us scan a QR code for a science center map so we didnt have to handle any paper products. It was the most enjoyable time at a science center I think Ive ever had. In most of the exhibit rooms we were the only family there and it gave our two sons the opportunity to play with and interact with as many of the exhibits as they wanted to. There were employees going around spraying down many of the interactive parts of the exhibit after the children handled them, there was hand sanitizer easily accessible throughout the entirety of the center and they had many sanitized toys in easy labeled buckets for children to be able to use to do any of the ball interactives. I was nervous about going out to any type of public facility as this is the first time we have done this since the quarantine started in March but as this was going to be our only opportunity to visit I thought I would give it a try and Im so glad that I did. Great work by all the employees of the Great Lakes Scienc Center! You made us feel secure in our safety and allowed us sometime to just play and learn with our boys!

We recently went to see the Bodies exhibit. I thought it was really neat, but my girlfriend had seen it before and said that it was quite less in size c9mpared to her previous visit. We only paid for the main entrance and the Bodies exhibit, so I cant really say much about the place as a whole. However, the upstairs area, that I remember most as a kid, was exciting for me to revisit. I was disappointed to find that there were a few things that didnt work anymore, but were left out on display. The NASA exhibit was pretty neat, we really enjoyed it.

By far my favorite museum out here in Cleveland. So many hands on activities for all ages, you’ll lose track of time while your there, so plan accordingly. There’s food options on-site which is sometimes an issue with little ones, so don’t fret if you’ve forgotten some snacks. There’s an dome theatre with excellent educational and fun movies to entertain. And once your done with the museum, you still have the lakefront to go explore.
