They have hotel-like rooms which is unusual for such a place. Thats a big plus. The rooms are spartan and small without a desk or anywhere to put a computer. But thats OK. They do have private bath & shower. Another big plus. The skinny white kid at the front desk [Scott - I think?] was very helpful. It was a Saturday night & I was disappointed with the lack of action. I got there at 6PM & nothing for quite a while. The trouble with this was there was nothing to do for a a long time & the TV didnt work. They dont have normal TV like the rest of Planet Earth. Instead they have an in-house internet service, which was down & wouldnt be back up until I.T. guys came the following Monday. On this particular Saturday around 10PM things picked up & I had a few fun experiences.

First time here from Michigan... pretty impressed with this place...the only thing that I can suggest to management is to clean the steam room and upstairs shower room better! Has a smell to it. Menthol spray and disinfectant of course...and a good scrub! Overall- pretty impressed with the place overall. Flex Atlanta is also pretty amazing. Most relaxed Ive been in a while! Hot tub, pool, hot sauna, dry sauna and a VERY nice building... Mix of people, very friendly staff and a very comfortable atmosphere. I recommend this bath house as it is one of the better ones in the country. Keep up the good work flex. There needs to be more flexs around the country.

Went there with a friend in December 2019. When we went to leave they asked how we got in and how we got a key for the room and locker. They were going to charge us again. You have to be buzzed in then pay up front for the room and locker to get the keys. We paid cash that night. I was ready to call 911 if they wouldnt let us leave if we didnt pay again. So watch out for that. If i didnt have this experience i would have given them 5 stars.

Went to FLEX tonight after work, greeted politely and went to my locker 48, placed my wallet, phone, and attire in there and locked it up, i walked around not even 10 minutes came to the locker room to find the front desk clerk in my locker, clearly stating it was unlocked, finally realizing Im the only customer there, come to also find out my money is missing from my wallet and the desk clerk playing dumb, I have been to FLEX numerous times and never had a single issue until tonight. Its sad we use our hard earned money to have a little fun and relax, to have their so called employees just steal it from our wallets, I am simply disgusted by this. And to have the front desk clerk straight up lie to my face! Im appalled that the LGBTQ community cant even enjoy a simple night without be targeted by THIEVES!

The facility is very nice. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I was here during an event, so the place was busy. The sauna and some of the upstairs was too dark making it hard to navigate. The pool was cold on this trip but it wasnt cold last time... Hopefully an unusual occurrence.

This entire facility was a giant comedy of errors. To start, the guy working at the front desk charged me $21 for a locker. We went back and forth for a few mins about the price when it clearly says $16 on the website. He kept saying “I’m confused” and trying to cop his way out of addressing the issues by playing dumb. It turns out that they charge $10 on top of the locker. My dismay could have been curbed if he broke that down for me. NOPE! When we finally got into the facility half of it was closed. The wet sauna was closed, the dungeon was closed and an announcement came on that the sauna on the second floor would be closing. My boyfriend and I retreated to our cabana and tried to turn on the TV, but there was no remote. On top of that, they were blasting COUNTRY MUSIC. COMPLETE TURN OFF!!! I then heard rumors that the staff expects to be tipped upon exit. When we did exit and I brought up that half of the facility was closed I was met with the brilliant line “I’m confused” once again. I spent all of one hour in the facility, mainly because there was nothing to do. I am LIVID that I paid a grand total of $48 for my boyfriend and I to get a locker and a cabana only to find the majority of the advertised amenities to be closed. I would urge the management of this facility to do an honest and serious evaluation of the operation that they are running. It’s a scam.

Really big place, lots of things to do and experience. Nice pool, big hot tub and several showers areas. Didnt get to see any of the suites but hear they are pretty good. Would go there again.

I had another first today. I was planning on meeting friends today at Flex for a day of relaxation. Upon checkin I was notified that I have been placed on a banned list from Flex by the manager. I hadnt attended Flex since last fall but have been a long-time supporter of the facility for over a decade. I was told that I was banned because of an incident in the fall. The only incident that happened in the fall was that I had completed an online Yelp review after my visit in the summer of 17. At the time of that visit I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness of the facility (towels scattered in the hallway, pool area, video rooms, etc.), used condoms on the floor, and showers, commodes, and urinals that were broken and not working. It was also a day that Flex was promoting a free noon barbecue meal for all (if memory serves me right it was Independence Day weekend). The individual on duty that day only grilled 6 burgers and 1 package of hot dogs and there were many more men there than that would adequately feed. When the cook was asked if he would be grilling more his answer was no and once these were gone they were gone.The reason I had even considered doing the review was that I had been told that Flex had recently been purchased and was under managememt. These conditions were so far removed from the Flex that I had visited numerous times each year during the last decade or so.I would have thought the new ownership would have appreciated an honest review of their facility and maybe all of these things I had experienced were an anomaly. In fact i sent a separate courtesy email to the manager to make him aware i had made that review on Yelp. I did eventually receive a follow-up email from the manager where he essentially told me he would be checking into my concerns and asked me to provide him with my name and contact information so he could do a followup. Apparently my providing him with that information is what was needed for his banning me. At no time was I told or notified by him that I was now banned from Flex.I spent an entire career working with the public and I understand that sometimes that can be challenging. If the new owners only want positive reviews then they are selling their business and employees short. Constructive criticism, in my opinion, is invaluable. Its often those wake up calls that lead us to reevaluate the way we are doing business.I was disappointed that I wasnt able to go to Flex today. I had heard things had gotten better and I was willing to again spend my hard-earned money and see for myself. Unfortunately, the management apparently didnt see fit for that to happen and my only recourse is to talk with him when he comes back to work on Monday. I live 4 1/2 hours away from Cleveland and am only here for the weekend so meeting him is not a possibility.

Large compound with lots of nice smaller areas. Sauna rooms and pools were nice, hotel rooms were higher quality than expected. Some small questionable hygiene issues, and the crowd will completely impact the experience.

This place is horrable! Many old spinsters lurking in germ-infested vapors and the odd gym queen strolling in for a quickie but rushing out after encountering too many monstrous molesters . Yikes! Don’t waste your money. Best to watch porn at home.

Ive never liked FLEX that much. The newer Club, now demolished, was much nicer and more right sized. Flex is too big and cavernous for the number of patrons. So it feels empty even when theres 50 people there. They keep trying to make it more appealing, but they should add more private booths, private slings instead of all the public stuff people are less apt to use.

Flex is not located by a busy street and the parking lot has a wall surrounding it, so if you worried about privacy this is a great place to go.

Flex remains what it has always been:a great place to shed your worries, and your clothes to relax with other men in an atmosphere of pleasure and indulgence. The facilities could use updating, but Ill continue going until the walls literally disintegrate into wet dust. Viva la aqua debauchery!

Went for the first time cuz I was traveling back home to Cleveland and my friend was the driver. Our last bar we went to my friend, who I love dearly, was reunited with another group of friends who were doing shots at the bar and slinging back drinks. Since he was the DD I told him we should get a a cab and books room at a motel or a B&B. He said he had a membership to Flex where a private room, hot tub, pool, gym, all await us. Cool! Im in! I love hotels. When I get there this was not a hotel.

First visit. Went with friends. Reasonable rates. The TV in the small room was mounted at an angle that you could only see from standing. The shower/wet area was closed from 8am until 130pm for some reason. Very loud continual gentleman on the loud speaker calling numbers that were due to check out with a threatening message everything. Other than feeling as if that employee wanted everyone to leave, the rest of the staff were amazingly friendly and funny. In the hotel room however, we never had toilet paper and had to ask for clean towels. Twice, about 10 hours apart, someone opened the door with a key stating, room checkWe were told after bringing it to their attention that it was not any employee and there seemed to be little concern that someone had a key to the rooms doing whatever they were.lolMy friend was shocked on the not marked out of order yet plugged in tanning bed and the dry sauna downstairs was out of order. The wet sauna has a smell that I could not tolerate. The pool seemed a bit dirty and chilly. It seems also the towels in the rooms are much nicer than those given to lesser rooms as one was thick and plush and one was thinning and worn with a few holes.One final note, the gentleman with threats about linen procedure on the loud speaker made things very confusing when clients were told to leave the dirty linens in their rooms that afternoon while he was staying the fines for doing so.I enjoyed my stay. But it wont be a destination spot for me.

This is my second visit to the club. once last summer which was fun with the outside pool open. A February visit was depressing. THe place seems dirty, dimly lit and creepy people. I am from Columbus. We are spoiled with Club Columbus. in a nice area, updated, clean, very attentive staff. I want to like Cleveland but it is getting harder on every front.

How is this place still open? Rude employees are consistently hired...building repairs havent been made in 3 years... there is a ceiling leak in the gym that is still leaking into a bucket after two and a half years. Im afraid of catching Legionnaires disease in the water pool or sauna area. This place could be really nice if they got rid of their staff and revamp the entire place. In four years I have been three times and there is never anyone there.

Ive been a long time patron, since it was back on W 9th. Those were some good times, but I was also a young chicken back then. They do need to make some improvements, but they do seem to be making an effort in some areas. A couple bucks in cosmetics and fixing broken stuff would go along way(the furniture in the TV room and the upstairs showers). Its not Steamworks, but it nowhere near as bad as some of the places Ive been.On the positive side: The staff is friendly for the most part, especially at the check in desk. From what Ive seen, they do clean the floors like ever 6 hours. It seem like they have a porn star come in to do a live show every other week or so. Lots of play areas, most of which go unused it seems(I miss the old Theater). Blackout nights do help those areas to get used more.I do go there on a fairly regular basis and always have a great time.Update: Went there tonight(4/7/81), very disappointed. The guy who normally works the front desk wasnt there yet. There were four people ahead of me in line. When I got up there after waiting patiently. I went to request a room in a particular range. I was told they werent doing requests, which I questioned. Ive been going for over 20 years off and on and lately about once or twice a month, in that time Ive never been told theyre not taking requests. The person working the desk mumbled something about the computer, I was like the keys are hanging up right behind you and was again told theyre not doing requests. This was not the normal people that work the counter on a weekend evening, which Ive never had an issue with. I could maybe understand if it slammed at the time or it was CLAW, but it wasnt. I was literally the only person in line at that moment. There were a few people a head of me, but they had already been taken care of and no one behind me.I dont know if the issue is lack of training, Ive never seen this person working the front desk before, but they definitely didnt have good customer service skills. I understand its a bath house and all, but if youre not being at least polite and courteous to even customers of 20+ years, eventually youll end up with not enough customers to keep the doors open. I did end up saving myself the 24 for a room tonight and just left.One other suggestion is to make sure you get a receipt when you get a membership and if possible verify with another clerk before you leave. Keep the receipt until the next time you come, just to be on the safe side.

Changing from previous 5 star rating to a 1 star after my past couple of visits over the last 4-6ish weeks. Always had a good time here over the past year of frequent visits. So my visits about 6 weeks ago, went alright. However, my room was not just dirty, but trashed. Cig butts, wrappers, visible smears on wall. TVs all seem to have missing buttons and angled to where you cant even really see them (if they do even work). I used the provided sheet and cases and use my towel on the bed mat. Left with probably two dozen bug bites (Im extra allergic and swell up on just 1 and I had two dozen) all on my which was against the covered bed mat. Not even sure what it ever wws that bit me so many times. They lasted at least a week, were very irritating, and made the that week miserable. Relied on many antiinflammatories, allergy meds , aloe, witch hazel, and topical cooling benadryl. The worst part, upon checking out of that visit with the assistant manager who usually works the front desk during 1st shift. White dude with a little chub to him, black hair-rudely informed me that my drivers License was simply .... Missing. Had ME go ask his workers what could have happened to it, all while doing nothing and just assuring me it wasnt his fault. I left my number with him, and left without my ID that day. (Which I had just gotten that week after getting my wallet with my SS and Id stolen, made it complicating to get). Anyhow, I get a text a week later from a maitnence employee, saying my ID was brought back by a man who surely was expecting to get his but ended up with mine. (He was an older man in 60s vs me who is 23) I was told I had to come pick it up even though I live over an hour away and asked if it could bee mailed, even offered to send an envelope with the postage already on it....but nope. So I drive up there and got it, thought Id stay for a. Little bit while I was up there it went OK. Left. And just last week after not going for a month or so, went and got a room. When I first arrived, the front desk at night was sleeping. I rang bell, best on glass. Went back to my car. Came back in. Tried it all over again. Took me probably 15 minimin to wake him up. Which Ive never not once been snarky, unpleasant , or anything like that. However, I fell asleep. That same daytime assistant dude, knocked on my door and instantly uses his keys to enter even though I responded with yeahh? And Im naked of course. All to tell me it was time to check out. I gathered my things and did so after about 15 minutes of that happening. He was really short with me, and told me the next time I come there will probably be a late fee on my account because I took 15 mins to get to the front. Something that isnt any policy or anything posted, or mentioned ever, not even other times when I stayed a whole 24 hours without renewal or ever being asked to leave. But just that guy barked that at me, like it was such a horrible thing ggfor him to have to walk back to my quiet room just a locker room away from the front desk. Mind you. NOT ONCE...was I ever apologized to for the ID thing, I never made a fuss about it, or demanded anything for my major inconvenience due to their mess up. And now Im a good loyal guest, who cleans up and litterally brings Clorox wipes and leaves my room cleaner than when I got there. Never made any request or bothered anyone, or hardly left my room but for a shower or a vending machine stop. And Im suddenly being treated foul and feeling very unwelcome and offended. Especially by the assistant manager who couldnt even call me when my ID was dropped off, and had a maitnence person text me daysss after on the matter. Therefore, if I ever return itll be a good while. I could care less about the late fee BS he pulled out of nowhere even though the rooms are far overpriced for having to clean them yourself, clear your own bed, have people disrespect your privacy by barging in with the master key. All I would have appreciated was an apology for the mistake

This place needs a makeover. The TV in my first room didnt work and the others are so old you cant see them unless you are sitting at a perfect angle. The staff is rude save one or two guys.

Still many things are broken but are finally (sort of?) in the process of repair. The hot tub still smells BAD due to the heat being too low and the jets not working to disrupt the surface water (since people cant apparently read they need to SHOWER before getting into the hot tub, having the heat low and jets not working just promotes the bad smell). At times the music is too loud. Their porn selection is also severely bad. Just about every TV has weird, extreme kink type S&M going on. Last thing I want to see is some guy tied up in the air, bleeding and bruised with a bunch of random items clipped all over him while getting punched in the dick and pissed on by some other dude. Also seems to be no ethnic porn.....

Neighborhood is bleak, otherwise the facility is incredibly clean. Its huge and has different areas full of all sorts of different equipment and etc.

Always a great fun time!

Been to flex both in Atlanta and Cleveland, the staff at the Cleveland location should not be working with the public period, very bad, attitude and how they talk to you not good, I know this is a Gay establishment but regardless of the establishment customer service should be important, will never be back and will not recommend this place to anyone..

I’ve came here a few times so far and usually i don’t go for the guys i come for the view of cleveland that they have where the little beach sand area is and the best time to see it is around 12am-3am

FLEX has a huge space and very spa like experience on the wet room, however had difficulty with the showers, water was either cold or luke warm.

I like the upgraded shower but hate the fact that theres really no food delivered here and the front desk depending on whos working cant tell you any place that does deliver.
