As complete novices who would like to learn how to shoot but know nothing at all about firearms, we went to Parma Armory to learn what we need and how to get started. Rob and Tracy were so helpful and genuinely eager to get us on track. Tracy was beyond patient as he walked each of us through the safety and preparation steps and the differences between the handguns we were trying in the range. It was a great experience. We now know how to proceed - first step: safety class. Thank you very much for your amazing and patient instruction, Tracy & Rob!

Having no real-world experience with firearms, the Parma Armory was definitely the right choice for me to visit. Before making my first purchase, I was able to take a 1st Shots class and also receive private instruction. I recommend both! Joe and Tracey were great instructors.The salesmen helped me figure out the correct weapon for my hand size, which before visiting, I didnt even realize was a factor.The more you learn before you buy, the better chance you have at making the correct choice. The team at the Parma Armory are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They can help you with everything you need to know as long as you are willing to ask questions.If you are unsure where to start, be sure to take the 1st Shots class. You will learn about safety, firearm handling, and even get to take a few practice shots. It is worth every cent.

November 10th is my birthday – slightly special than any other day…EXCEPT at Parma Armory! I decided to take their “Taste of Archery” class and boy, they not only made my day special – they made it FANTASTIC!!! Since it was my 1st time there, everyone greeted me and they were very personable. Robert Schaefer is the Archery Director and was my instructor that day, along with Fred, his partner in crime. Not only was Robert very detailed in his instructions, he made learning the sport fun too! By the time my class was over, I used 9 arrows to pop 7 balloons! Robert was impressed – me too! I am HOOKED!A special Thanks to Heather for joining the boys to sing Happy Birthday to me. I am looking forward to taking the 6 hour class so I can compete in some outside archery events. Check them out – let them make YOUR day! BTW - I had such a blast that I was on cloud-9 when I left!!! Very friendly staff in the store, unfortunately didnt have what I wanted, but thats how it goes at this time. Very roomy and comfortable for those in wheelchairs/power chairs. Will return to check out gun range.

Parma Armory is everything you want in a gun store/gun range. Theyre training courses are excellent, thorough and safe. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly.

Clean facility. The guy and girl at check in are extremely courteous ,super nice and helpful. The check out room is a different world. They are often rude to customers. I asked can he split the charges between cash and card and got an attitude. You can stand there forever looking for accessories etc without any help. Trump stickers in abundance. Odd for a buisnes to have personal politics involved. You should want everyone to feel welcome.

Have been going to The Parma Armory since Aug 2020. Every associate Ive dealt with has been friendly and helpful. I recently attended the CCW class. The instructor Joe Rondon was terrific. He was an excellent speaker and teacher. He spoke loud and clear. And very knowledgeable. He had a good sense of humor too which helped the time go by well. I definitely recommend The Parma Armory. I plan on going back myself!

I just called this place to ask if my wife could set up classes to get her Carrying concealed license and asked if it was legal because I have a medical marijuana card they told me no it is illegal I know for a fact That my wife is perfectly within her rights I will not be sending her here to get her license we will go elsewhere and I just thought I might add you guys need to study your laws before you miss lead or give somebody false information thank you and have a good day

Worst customer service Ive ever had. I have bought two guns here and shoot here weekly. After today though Ill never return, we accidentally shot the carrier and were charged. No problem I accept that rule, however what I dont accept is being scolded like a six year old 4 times for it when it only happened once. Youre employees are always rude, but to come in and tell at me and my friend for an honest mistake then come back in 3 more times because you wanted to flex your position was unacceptable. I told both workers Ill never return, and the response was oh well we dont really care. Maybe you should hire people with skills in treating your customers.

Brent did a great job teaching the class. He was very detailed in explaining everything. Brent was also very patient when working with people that have never shot a gun before.

Staff can be on edge, but it’s an intense setting (guns and all..). Having said that, staff is very helpful especially for beginners like myself. Place is clean, well regulated, cool custom gun store.

Worst customer service!!Went there to do a transfer and we was doing the paper work I just asked him what’s mean felony bc The guy ho was buying the gun don’t the lenguaje and I didn’t know was that means! and the guy refuse to explain me and after I paid he asked me to leave!!I lost my money and my time!Never had this problem before!Went to Cleveland armory in 9100 bank st place and they was better in customer service and thanks good they explained me everything and I’m clear thanks to them!Btw my name is Miguel done I’m in the system.

Last Monday my fiancée and I visited Parma Armory for the first time. We experienced nothing but great service from the staff & range. The building was very clean. The staff greeted and welcomed us right away with a smile. Any questions we had in the office, were answered perfectly. The range is awesome!!!!! Spacious, bright and plenty of lanes on both floors. Definitely will be visiting again soon!

They tried to store my credit card information in their computer system and when I asked them why? I’m paying with cash they told me it’s because of recent thefts... instead of changing where they have the register located.. they decide the best remedy is to store my credit in your so called “secure” system... I will no longer be a customer of Parma Armory

My uncle and cousin bought memberships and I will be purchasing a membership soon as well, even though its a 45 minute drive its well worth it!

A friend of mine is interested in learning to shoot. I told her about your range and how helpful/knowledgeable your staff is and will be bringing her and probably her husband up there soon. They live in Parma Hts. area and she is looking to rent/try out some pistols. Your range is the cleanest, safest, nicest around, from what Ive seen. Im happy to introduce new peeps to it! Probably one of the best ranges Ive been to. Everybody is super nice and the prices arent too bad to shoot. The facility is absolutely huge with several stores/necessities inside.

First time at Parma Armory was an excellent experience. The range was really clean and well ventilated. After about 15 minutes of instruction we were ready to go! Great time for me and my husband. Looking forward to going again soon. I think a family membership for Christmas would be a great gift for us!!

Just went for the first time yesterday and had a good experience. The range is probably the nicest I’ve ever been inside of. Not that this would matter to most, but being an Air Force vet that was an aircraft mechanic, I really enjoyed seeing the Air Force blues hung up with a picture of a Vietnam era aircraft maintainer. Staff was nice, selection of guns for sale was pretty slim, and I’m not sure what ammo prices were. I’ll definitely revisit.

Wow one of the best experiences Ive had at a shooting range. Everything is up to date everything is modern. The temperature on the range is amazing. The staff is great and very helpful. Will definitely be going back. I rented a AR 15 it will make you feel like a real man lol

I just completed an archery class at the Parma Armory range. Robert Schaefer was the instructor, and his experience and methods were outstanding! He focused on safety, having fun (and we did!) and was extremely patient and kind. He is a Class 1 and 2 certified instructor and his knowledge, coupled with the first class equipment and range made the course a really great experience. From young to old, anyone can benefit from the class and range. Our class had incredible improvement in shooting skill with everyone making great progress on accuracy and consistency.I highly recommend the class and the range!

Rob is an EXCELLENT instructor for archery. He made the class fun while learning for both beginners and more advanced archers. Range is clean and well lit. Equipment for classes is supplied as needed (and in very good condition) or you can bring your own. Well worth the time and effort to learn from Rob.

It’s extremely easy to tell ffl transfer customers that the address on their I.D. has to match their current address BEFORE they come up to the store to receive an order. HUGE waste of time that could have been prevented by good customer service.

I signed up for my ccw class here, made a scheduling mistake on my part and made it for a day I could not go. Completely my fault, I called a few times, sent an email and within three days got a full refund. Good customer service, these guys helped me out as quick as they could. I believe that the only reason it even took three days is just because they were busy! Anyways, not having to argue for a refund is nice, the tickets were through a third party company which only complicated matters. The range is very nice as well. Thank you rob for your prompt response.

This range itself is very clean and very nice. The ventilation is wonderful inside the range and the lanes are very nice. Was my first time there and it was definitely an amazing trip! 1st time in and had a 50% off for an hour of shooting. Great place, friendly and knowledgeable staff especially if your trustworthy! The 21 Gun Salute is pretty damn impressive range, enjoyed shooting from the second floor too. I have been to many ranges and this one definitely stands out! I will be back for sure!

They have a really nice indoor archery range. The winter indoor league has really been a lot fun. Looking forward to shooting here for years to come.

A very well kept range with lots of lanes, Ive never had to wait even when it was busy. The place is cvery clean and well presented. Decent rental options too, and lane prices are very fair. Lowest in the area that Ive found.

Was in line right in frunt of the check in to go to the rang was here when the doors opened the guy at the check in took almost everone behind me completely ignored that i was there i guess unless you pay for there membership you are nobody and not worth there time vary disopointed this is just me but to be treated like that i will not come to this rang again nore will i use any of there services.

Went there today for the first time. Nice range, spotless. Good ventilation. Range officer explained how to work the controls and then left us alone,, which was great. Everyone we met was very friendly and the range wasnt crowded. Sorry I didnt have time to check out the rest of the place. Maybe Ill go over there Sunday, during the open house and check things out more closely. Plenty of parking.

I was scare of and had no idea about guns or how to handle one when I came to the Parma Armory... I took lessons until I felt completely comfortable buying and handling a gun.I took one class with Joe and the rest with Zach they spent time patiently teaching me how to hold the firearm, load it, fire it... everything. Now I feel confident.The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional!Now I’m a gun lover and really enjoy target shooting.I can’t wait to buy 1, 2, 3 maybe 40 MORE firearms Thank you to everyone at The Parma Armory.

Just completed my first league there recently and I have to say, for local ranges in the area- Parma is my favorite. Sam, Joe, Chris, Dale, Zach and a few others (still learning names) have been absolutely extraordinary in both levels of service and knowledge! The range is clean, well maintained, and safety is their number one priority and they let that be known. Ive seen them welcome all types of shooters: male, female, young, old, beginner and expert, and everyone is treated in the same pleasant, and often joking, attitude. Could not ask for any better! Keep it up!

What a great facility! A friend told us about this range and we gave it a shot. We were astounded at the friendliness of the people, the helpfulness of the range officers, the cleanliness of the firing ranges - yes, multiple ranges - and the competitive pricing! We came back for classes, too. There are many different shops inside this all-inclusive space that cater to the professional, novice or hobby shooters! Youll be pleased with your experience here!

Went to the Parma Armory tonight after work . This is all new to me purchases the HK VP9 last week, this is my first gun and first time shooting. This range is great very friendly staff, they make you feel comfortable. Joe who is one of the range staff, went over rules of the range and how to hold and handle the firearm safely and correctly. He did a great job very thorough and knowledgeable . I plan on stopping in to get some more practice. Stop in I know you will like the range. Thanks.

After doing some price checking which could have been done before purchasing gun.Charged me 70 dollars over market price for a gun thanks but no thanks. Make sure you price check first.

I went in with just the expectation of looking at handguns before making a purchase. I wasnt sure what I wanted so I wanted to browse. The staff didnt ignore me because I wasnt purchasing that day. Instead, they took time and showed me as many different handguns as they could around the price range I gave them and talked with me about the differences both small and large. I know when Im ready to make that purchase, this is where Ill be stopping.

Said I hit the carrier. Charged $25 for a little scrapped paint. No holes in it jus touch up with spray paint. Exhaust wasnt working good had bad taste in my mouth all day . probably never going back there again

Has become my favorite range to shoot. Great ventalation, top notch range officer whos very knowledgeable and the staff here is reputable and knowledgeable about their products. Ive been in places where its all about the $ but this place is not. Cleanest range Ive been to, safety is top tier and range equipment is top quality. Yesterday I had the chance to purchase new ameriglo i-dot pros for my edc glock 17. Entire experience was simple and I love the new upgrade for faster acquisition on my target. Worth the 40min commute to give you guys my business. See ya guys next time soon.

Best range I’ve been to in my life. Been to Stonewall, Pro Armament and Riverside Range, and AJ Harris in Massillon. Parma Armory is an old Army/National Guard armory...except they redid it and it’s really nice. They have an upper deck and a lower deck as well as a rifle range (longer). The folks there are nice as well as knowledgeable. Thanks guys!
