I love this intimate, little theatre. Ive enjoyed every play Ive seen there.

The theatre is a lively space, especially for the revue format we enjoyed tonight.

All is Calm was wonderful. We need to be uplifted in these times and Mustard Seed provided a warm hearted evening.

Great place to see an honest and truly good show all year round. Plus there an amazing art gallery downstairs!

My wife and I saw All is Calm; The Christmas Truce of 1914. It was an all male cast of some of the best singers Ive ever heard. Two of the guys in particular just blew me away. It was a great show.

I like to fancy myself a patron of the arts and Ive been to many, many plays in my short run of life so far. I also attended Fontbonne University as an Art Student and seeing as how this theatre is in the Art Building it was hard to ignore. It wasnt too long before I decided to catch a play at the Mustard Seed Theater and I have to say I was completely and utterly blown away by the quality of the performances ... easily on par with any play Ive seen at the Muny, The Rep and even the Fox. The detail put into the costume design, set design and the acting were wonderful. I can actually say that the plays I experienced at the Mustard Seed Theater helped to cultivate a love a Shakespeare (I nearly died laughing at their production of Twelfth Night), helped usher me out of an emotional fog, and even inspired me to have a religious experience that broke me out of a crisis of faith (through their production of Godspell). The variety of productions put on here is truly astounding, tackling delicate social issues with finesse and exploring the beauty and tragedy of the human condition with sensitivity and passion. I highly recommend that you spend an evening at the Mustard Seed Theater and I believe youll marvel at what you walk away with.
