Enjoyed my visit to The Comedy Zone! Will definitely go back. Food and drinks were good as well. 2/10/18

Always have a great time at this venue. Food delicious, service needs work

Comedy was a train wreck and not funny. Out of the 5 comedians, only 1 got a genuine laugh from me. Jokes fell flat all evening and silence after most jokes. So awkward... Drinks were severely watered down. Not worth it at all. Hope they get better in the future because the setup has lots of potential. Maybe we went during an off night based on other reviews.

Buggy Lowdown and Chris Paul were great.. No one came to take our order or ask if we even wanted to order anything. P!us, there was no bathroom tissue in any of the stalls in the womens restroom. I sat beside the thermastat it was so hot it read 81 degrees. They just re-opened so maybe they are working out the kinks.

The service was very poor. We thought we would give it a second chance from a few months ago but no change. We ordered an appetizer and after 30 minutes we approached the waitress who said they gave it to another table. Drinks did not come for over 25 minutes and then one drink appeared without the other. I had to go out to the bar to find the bartender finishing my drink. They were not that busy so I think they cut corners with staff who appear out of it. Oh my wife wanted to add the wings were good. They were. But Im disappointed because its geographically desirable and Im in trouble by my wife because she didnt want to go because she remembered last time. Lastly, they knew we were upset so they brought us a complimentary stale piece of cake! Comedians average.

I really cant complain about my visit,even though Ive only been twice i had an awesome time! The food i got was great & the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However on my second visit it was much busier & it did that a while before we received our drinks & then we decided to order fries but the show was almost over before we received them.also the waitress brought me another mixed drink w/o asking me first,. Other than that, i had a great time. It was clean, inviting & the comedians were awesome! Laughed till I cried!

Dont go to Charlie Goodnights! There you sit on the laps of the people crammed on either side of you with cold food. The Comedy Zone in Clayton is an intimate old school comedy venue. The pub food is great and is delivered promptly (no sitting under the warming lights). Unlike the other place, your group can place more than one order. The drinks are wonderful with a bit of whimsy -- cranberry juice for Sex on the Beach. The cover price cant be beat! Modern entertainment almost always calls for a loan from the bank but not at the Comedy Zone of Clayton -- spend your pizza money here and have a better time. Bring your friends.

This is a great place to come and let your hair down. Claytons best kept secret if you ask me.

Comedy Zone is a very nice atmosphere .... a very warm and welcoming experience. The service needs improving. The hostess took 45 minutes to bring our drinks, neglected to bring our food until my husband was finally able to get her attention. When she brought the cold food to our table, she did not ask if we needed anything else (ketchup, napkins) she rushed off in a haste. There was no courtesy check to see if we had been served our order or if we needed anything. Our meal included dessert - cake and ice cream, we received it at the end of the show as a take-out, was told they were out of ice cream. Quality Customer Service is the Ultimate No Exceptions No Excuses!

It was a great spot and I really enjoyed the show, if I had strong input, I would change the seating arrangement to make it more comfortable for all who came to the show and also the bartenders need a lot more training on how to make drinks and also they need to be a little quicker when making the drinks so that people can get back to and enjoy the show.

Under new ownership. Great comics. Funny as hell. Good food and great hospitality. Ill be back!

We enjoyed the comedy but the service is incredibly poor for this type of venue. I took over half an hour to get our first drink and that was at the bar that had only one other person at it. The food was good but also took a long time to get and several issue with getting the right order and dessert never showed up at all. You would think that the booze and food would be top priority since its the primary revenue generator. I will give it another try just in case it was just a bad night.

What a quaint little establishment! State of the art lighting and sound equipment. And a very friendly wait staff! So for good food and even better quality entertainment make the Comedy Zone Clayton your venue of choice!!!

Went to the Mr.Dick Gregory show on 12/17/16. The show was scheduled to start at 10 but went on at 11p or so. Waited and waited for Mr.Gregory to perform, just to find out he was not performing due to contract issues? No refund for the show posted on Comedy Zone site which is not right! I work hard and just wanted to show my lady a good time and think i should get my money back.

Every time we go we have a great time. we have ordered the food before. i would rather eat before i go there. i am not a fan of the food. Very good choices for drinks. many choices of beer.

This business is poorly ran. They dont take cash. It took over an hour to get our food including salad and chips and salsa and you do not get refills on soft drinks. We were asked to pay for our food before we received it.Go to Charlie Goodnights if you want a great experience at a comedy club

My best friend and I go at least twice a month and are never disappointed with the quality of comedians that are there. The service is great and the bartenders always make the drinks perfectly!

Had a good time for my first time. Its great to have some place like this close to home to attend. Will be back.

I love the club but I really feel like they should have open mic nights. You are closed so many days out of the week it might bring in a lot more business and free entertainment. Goodnights comedy club in Raleigh brings in thousands of dollars each open mic night and they dont even have to pay their comedians. I would hate for another comedy club to be shut down in North Carolina there already arent that many. Im a stand up comedian who rarely gets stage time because of Goodnights not having enough room for all the comedians. Think about it.

Well, after paying extra to sit where we wanted, we were told we couldnt sit where we want. Also as the DD I couldnt get a glass of tap water, had to pay $2.50 for a 16oz bottle of water. The food was ok. A little light on the fries. And the burger bun was over toasted. On the plus side the actual comedy show was great. I havent laughed that hard in a very long time.

They wanted us to pay extra to sit where we wanted - wha-a-a-t??? The young man that introduced the 2 comedians was funny, but not impressed at all with the head liners. What a waste of money! I did think the waitress we had was great!

The service is slow and they advertise a $11.99 with buffet with dessett but only allow you one trip to the food and there was no dessert. My group only took small portions of food because we didnt want to waste food we were not sure we would like but we stilk ckukdnt go back for more. They need to let people know this in advance. Also I do not appreciate them deleting my comment about tjis on Facebook.

The kareokee was ok.. they catered to certain people in the room . It was almost like i wasnt there but i was. I wouldnt go back until they get a different mc. That actually knows whats he or she is doing.

Went to see Pauly Shore, email reminder the day before. Get there and place went out of business. Very disappointed.

The most unorganized hectic place ever. Its such a rip off. They dont have a licensed bartender so their drinks are disgusting and there service is very poor. This is a disgrace to black owned business.
