Went to “Just Art About It” today in Clawson (right near downtown royal oak) and it was an AMAZING experience. I’m not creative at all, but it really pushed me to not only get creative but look within in a really mindful and enlightening way. I also took my daughter and it was such a great bonding experience.Perfect for parties, date nights, or even if you need your time for self-care.Such a fun and beneficial time and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Had a wonderful little adventure at Lets Art About It! I was invited to a Self-Discovery Workshop, knowing nothing about what to expect, but those kind of things often are my favorite. The workshop was designed to lead you through depicting your unique story. In doing so, you will explore your emotions, celebrate who you are, and where youve been, know yourself on a deeper level, gain tools for mindfulness, and create direction towards your individual goals. There was an option to create a journal, design an album cover of the greatest hits of your life, or an opportunity to create an altered book with blackout poetry. I had never tried blackout poetry so I chose a random book and started looking at words on the pages. One page had words that stood out to me so I redacted the rest and found myself on those pages. So unexpected. So meaningful. I was BLOWN AWAY by the experience and am already booking my next! Shazia, the therapist, is amazing at facilitating the workshop and guiding the group throughout the session. You will love her! No artistic experience or ability is needed. Book a workshop for yourself today. You wont regret it!

Love it! Best decision ever. The atmosphere is wonderful and the art therapist is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I really recommend the workshops and one on one therapy!

O.M.G I just had an amazing afternoon.Last week I was driving downtown on my way to the post office and noticed a new art studio.I looked closer and saw it was an Art Therapy Studio. I instantly got excited. Took a photo of the building and when I got home googled it IMMEDIATELY!I vibed with everything, took a leap of faith and booked a session!......It was AWESOME!.What an amazing way to let go, heal and create at the same time. I felt SO great after leaving and KNEW I’d be back.Shazia is SO lovely. Such a beautiful soul and has created such an amazing space. I truly cannot wait to return!!
