In historic downtown Clarksville, an old storefront serves well as the Downtown Artist Cooperative - A showcase of regional artistic talents that include photography, paintings, textile works, jewelry and other forms. Much of what you see is for sale and the exhibits change to feature specific artists or art forms. Admission is free and there is always someone there to help you find something special. There is a scenic overlook just down the block with a great view of the river and historic part of town. This is really worth a visit...

This is the GO TO PLACE for lovely art shows and monthly opening receptions for Historic Downtown Clarksvilles First Thursday ArtWalks. You can be guaranteed to see good art, mingle with interesting and friendly people (including the artists) and enjoy refreshments. The gallery is open Wednesday through Friday noon to 4:00 PM and all day Saturday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). One of the places in Clarksville where culture begins!
