Went on the trail around the place with my dog and it was cool how close the water was to you. Also having the various exercise equipment along the walk was a really cool idea and showed you simple exercises. Unfortunately due to the time of year the Waterpark isnt available. However everything seems to be to the publics use.

Absolutely love this place. Great trails to walk, covered buildings with seating to bbq and eat and a community pool that the family can enjoy. Lots of spaces and grass. Definitely recommend for spring and summer. 5 stars

Bathroom are very important to older and all around everyone I can only get half way and must have to go so thank you.

The trail at night is gorgeous

This lovely park has 1.5 miles of walking trails along a river. The park is dotted with large trees. There is a pavilion for picnics, and a restroom. Theres ball fields, as well. I feel that this is a safe place to run or walk.

Its a nice place to take young children but I wouldnt recommend it for adults or teenagers.

I counted 65 ducks in total. They were amazing to watch. There is a group of white ducks, which stayed together on the other side of the river, away from the others, so I couldnt get a good pic. The rest of the ducks seemed very friendly. I think they wanted fed, lol,,,, but they were walking ontop of the ice, which was awesome. I personally highly recommend stopping and checking them out.

Its dedicated to all our fallen heroes. Makes me proud to know one day my service wont go down in vain, to let others know that I served with honor. For God, Glory and Honor. So as to protect our freedoms, our rights and libertys under our constitution. To fight to keep the land of my forefathers as they fought for sake of keeping mine. And its an institution thats never ending when you look at it in that frame of mine.

Great park for kids and adults. Water slides, splash pool, lazy river. Half price after 4:00. Could use some better design though. A couple extra bridges would make it easier to get from one area to another.

Nice place .clean restrooms . plenty of tbings to do . a nice mile and a half trail that loops around. Worth the visit. Get up off that thing and get out there

It is a nice place to take kids to play and walk. You just have to watch for duck and geese poop in areas. Dont like people letting dogs poop and not clean it up that is so rude. And one day took kids to feed the ducks and geese and some women let her dog run down and chase the poor things. Then she said she always does that. That is wrong. Then you got the kids that chase them. You need to keep dogs in leash or teach them leave the ducks and geese alone. Also quit letting kids pick on them.

Today was like a bummer. I am agreeing with one comment that was posted earlier for the no refund check. I had 2 girls with me and myself. We got into the pool 10 minutes or less and they said no refunds. I am sorry but when it rains like that and people have been in the pool less than a hour they should get refunded. If in the pool longer than that they should give out coupons for so much off. Just ridiculous even for the price to get in. Plus no coolers aloud you should be able to bring what you want as long as the coolers are small. Plus you drive there and pay for gas to get there just ridiculous on refund policy. Babies should get in for free anyway.

This is a beautiful place to go. If you are having a tough time or just need to unwind take a walk around the loop and enjoy the beauty all around. They have playgrounds for kids, pavilions for parties, a dock for fishing, and large pens to let dogs run free safely in. Their is also a skate park too, with cool ramps to do tricks off of. Dont forget to visit the hospice park it is like an old Roman garden with a beautiful poem to read and awesome artwork to sit and look at. Very peaceful place

From concerts to Alzheimer’s walk, the Veterans park is the best!!!

Their fries are the best. Prices & meal options are very affordable. Also just got a frosty sundae & it was delicious. Has foods for everybody.

The walking path around the park is a great place to visit for recreation. I come here to help clear my mind and get some fresh air and sunshine.

The amphitheatre here is an amazing place to go to any event at. It is always super clean and has very friendly and helpful staff. There is also a very nice playground with lots of nice equipment in good condition. There is also an amazing pool with a kids section and a very calm and relaxing lazy river. It is an ideal place to take kids in the summer.

I Love walking around the park. Watching the ducks and the River. I love the fact that there is benches everywhere. That you can sit and talk where ever you want.

It has a great bunch of things to climb on and a good swing set and also a nice set of benches by it so that you can eat stuff wile you are there

Nice park, but I wish they would enforce the DO NOT FEED THE WILD LIFE rule. Duck and Hoose poop everywhere when it would not be so bad in one place if this one lady would not feed them.

Vets never get enough credit for what they have done but as far as VAs go this is a nice park and a decent hospital

Park is great place now compared to when I was a kid.

Great family atmosphere. The tennis courts and pickleball courts are in great shape. Several pavilions for reunions/cookouts, etc. The splash park is very very nice and many other amenities. Easy access, plenty of free parking. Well maintained and picturesque.

Went to the water park. Had a great time. Snacks were typical but good. Staff and life guards very courteous.

Love the different areas to walk/play. Hate that sometimes inconsiderate smoking parents frequent here. When theyre not around, this park is great.
