This is one of my favorite places to see artists. I got to see The Oak Ridge Boys and Tom Tippin. The location was very clean and the concessions were fairly priced and the workers were super nice to me. Parking is a little rough from what I could tell. I love that there is a bar on the second floor. I enjoyed a few beers while enjoying the amazing talent.

I was at the Robinson Grand yesterday with my 2 daughters and their husbands and my 6 grandchildren. We were there to watch the Little Mermaid. I just want to say it is so nice to be able to take my family to the same theater where I grew up watching movies during my childhood. The prices are very reasonable, the movies they show are great and it is always clean and the volunteers are always so nice. Please know that we truly appreciate being able to have such a fun family day and it is right in downtown Clarksburg.

I enjoyed watching Desk Clerk. Im very impressed with whats been done with the place. Very welcoming and the staff was friendly. I noticed on the website several events. I wish things were better publicized.

This is quite a grand theater restored back to its beauty of the olden days with several modern touches. I wouldve loved to give it full 5 stars and a full blown glowing review, except for one aspect that may matter for taller people - the legroom between rows in the balcony seating is quite narrow, so ur bumping into the back of the row in front of you so if theater gets packed then it might not be too comfortable.Other than that, the consessions are quite affordable, bathrooms are spotless, seats are quite new and the inside view is grand. It feels great to be at this theater. Also looks like weekend, late evening street parking is free in Clarksburg. (Pls verify on your own).

Wonderful place to enjoy an evening concert. I had the pleasure of watching Mr John Anderson and kylie Frey. Both were amazing, the facility is clean from the stage to the restroom. Tickets, beer, drinks, concessions were all affordable. Check this place out the city and all of its donors brought new life to this piece of history, be sure to enjoy it!

The Robinson Grand is a FANTASTIC venue! I have been to movies, concerts, corporate trainings, and private events. Each event has been flawless. It is evident that the staff has taken great care to ensure a truly GRAND experience for each event. Their attention to detail is obvious. Depending on the event, this is a perfect place for a family outing or exciting date night. The entire community should be proud of The Robinson Grand Preforming Arts Center! Well done!!!!!

Wish they would have done a better job on the build of the place. At least put good seats in it

Nice venue. We saw a great concert. Parking was relatively easy. Nice facility with good acoustics. Traffic coming and going was easy.

We went to an acoustic performance and it was perfect! The venue is absolutely beautiful since the restoration. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating. This place is top notch!!

Had a great evening with the whiskey river band and the Dennis mcclung band.This a great concert due to the great music these two groups provided.

Recently remodeled with a nod to the nostalgic, the Robinson Grand is a beautiful place to watch a movie, enjoy a stage performance, or host your party of event.

A wonderful place to take in a play or concert inside a very well remodeled and cared theater .

This is one of the shining stars of Clarksburg. They took pain staking care to return it to its former glory. If you get a chance to see a show there, I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our experience here. They have put a lot of time and money into the restoration of this theater and it shows. It is beautiful inside! I highly recommend checking this place out and I will definitely go back in the future.

Theater was clean and well maintained since the remodel. Didnt see any seats that would be a disappointment to see a show from.

Saw Jay Leno here, had balcony seats and was an amazing experience. I love the history and how they show off pieces of the original theater before the renovations.

Its nice but for what the city paid it should be. I just think the $ would have been better spent on the backpacker problem. As it is the backpackers are going run away the people who would spend their $ at shows and for the 4th time in my life it will close and all that $ gone for nothing

Whether attending for a movie or a super intimate Travis Tritt acoustic session, the staff and facility have been amazing.

As president of the Shinnston Community Band, I can highly recommend this facility. The staff and management were extremely helpful as we prepared for and performed our concert. The facility is beautiful and our band is looking forward to playing there again.

I just saw Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone in this movie theater and it was so magical! Im so happy that this theater got a second life, and it really is very nice in there now. Total transformation, yet still classic.

We went to the Grand Opening last night. I was very excited to see the new facility. It is beautiful. But, the sound system is awful. We could barely understand any of the speakers. The bands were better but the acoustic are very disappointing. The location of the restrooms was inconvenient. The seat are do close together in the balcony the your knees are up against the next row. Im not sure Ill return for a show again.And I forgot to mention the usher that stood in front of my section and I couldnt see Jay Leno at all. The workers should know not to do this to paying customers.

Wonderful first experience at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center with a beautiful concert by Paul Cardall. Incredible music, an inspiring life story, and lots of humor thrown in for good measure made this a superb evening. For such a renowned pianist to play here - who had just played at the White House Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony- and to hear him first-hand locally, was a true delight and honor.The renovations to the facility are truly remarkable, and this has become a shining star for Clarksburg. If you’re wanting more leg room, make sure to sit in the orchestra section on the ground floor, as the seats in the balcony are a bit tight. Restrooms are on either side of the concession stand. Lots of Hollywood, movie star, and motion picture memorabilia decorate the walls, nooks, and crannies of the lobby, halls, and stairways. Not a bad seat in the house, with clear unobstructed views from everywhere.

We took our whole school here on a field trip today. They were so accommodating and wonderful! I will definitely be back.

Beautiful restoration! Building is gorgeous and clean, lower seating is incredibly comfortable, staff very friendly. Upper seating is a bit cramped with no cup holders but still very nice with decent viewing of the stage.

The best place in downtown Clarksburg, WV to catch a matinee, and live performances for all audiences. Dont forget the FREE Shinnston Community Band on December 4, 2018.The popcorn and Pepsi are great and they have wine and beer for the adults.

Blast from the past! My son and I enjoyed the viewing of Hocus Pocus so much, I was reminded of childhood memories of watching movies at the Robinson Grand. The facility is beautiful and is well maintained. Recommend!

The Robinson Grand is fantastic.This was a great investment for the city.It brought back a lot of memories from back in the day.I really like all the history displays they have.And Bill Engvall was hilarious.We already have tickets to see Lorrie Morgan next month.

Very nice place and a pleasant evening

I was disappointed in the sound. I could not hear Leno very well and sound was garbled by the time it got to the upper balcony. I also had trouble hearing the welcoming people. Seating for anyone over 57 would be uncomfortable because the seats are so close together.

Great idea but the seating is horrible. Its so tight your knees are into the back of seats in front of you. If you want out of your row, your whole row has to stand and move out so you can get in and out. The seating ruined the whole experience. Everyone complained about the seating.

I got the Great privileged to perform their in the 90s before it closed its doors,for a Christmas show The Jim Bunch Country Christmas Show. Also had good memories from my childhood.cant wait to go there again when it re opens it doors ones again.
