Good place to go if your on a budget. Cheap movies all day long. Very clean facility good snack selection. Family saw Playing With Fire, cute family movie to watch. Would recommend to anyone definitely worth it and really fair prices.

Great theater. Perfect for those of us that want to see movies on opening day. But just miss it by a few weeks. This theater will have the best of the most recent movies. They start showing here just after they have closed in mainstream movie theaters. Staff here was super polite and helpful. They even have a bunch of coinop arcade games. Same price for concessions. Give them a shot. Its very much worth the 4$ admission.

This place is kind of run down. Over all the experience is good. But sometimes theres obnoxiously teenagers and sections of the theater caution taped off for who knows why. But hey, its a cheap ticket. Ill go until the mall closes in like 10 years or something.

So Ive been here like 20 times.Price is good, like $4 to watch older movies that stopped playing in the regular theaters.Seats are so so but for the price not too bad. Theres 4 screens so place isnt too packed.

A great little getaway to watch a movie that havent made it yet to dvd for a little bit of money, and snacks that doesnt break the wallet.The theater was clean, the bathroom was clean, the front snack concession stand looked great, and the movie was awesome. So glad I was able to see a good quality movie on the big screen before going to DVD, and the price was right. Its the cheapest price theater in Sacramento to see a movie.So, I really dont know why anyone would complain about seeing a good movie here. Located within Sunrise Mall, this movie theatre is only $3.99 per person. Granted they only have so many movies and like 4 theatre rooms. However when you are on a budget like me, this is great! Especially for my 6-person family! The popcorn, sodas and candy are there, along with some video games in the lobby, so you cant go wrong! There are also these great massaging chairs right outside for $1/per 3 minutes to massage your whole body! I loved it!

The seats are comfy and the tickets are low cost. Dont expect huge variations of food. Located in the mall, no entrance on outside.

I want customers to know besides the best ticket price for whats still a great movie, concessions (though maybe not as excessive) equal to other theaters, and still,that its kept clean ( 35+ years coming here ) regardless of reviews most likely written by customers with apparent limited visiting experience, this theater has a very friendly/ customer service oriented staff (even when it requires digging through seats to find items your son happens to lose). Sadly I understand Sunrise Mall will be going through a major remodel in the future, so you should really take advantage while you can-

Been such a long time since I have been here last. Lines to get tickets and snacks small and moved fast. Cost for snacks little more than the big movie theater but understand when you are the small theater everyone forgot about. Nice and clean and no sticky floors. The seats are probably the same ones from over 20 years ago. My youngest-age 8- actually needed a booster seat. Over all the forgotten gem.

Good price for tickets. Wife and I for $7. Snacks are expensive though.Wife likes the screen. Its a smaller theatre so its long and not as wide. Feels strange to me. But I got into the movie anyway.

Our family loves going to this theater. It is at the mall, cant beat that. It is super economical, $3.99 per person. It offers movies that are still popular, just a few weeks from initial release. Its a no-frills theater, but is always clean and has been kept up nicely. Josh at the snack bar is always very patient with our order. The popcorn is fresh, never stale. Good variety for snacks.

This theater is great for inexpensive movies that are no longer in regular theaters, but have not yet gone to DVD. You get what you pay for, its $3.99 for all tickets all the time, the seats are just regular theater seats. All the theaters are divided into two rows with an aisle down the center. Its not fancy, but it also doesnt cost $12+ per ticket! It is definitely worthwhile to sign up for the free Regal Cinema reward card, you will end up getting good discounts at the concession stand. The employees are always friendly here. They have the usual food, its about $9 for large popcorn bucket which you get free refills on and $7 for a medium aka huge soda. $5 for candy. There are a few arcade games in the lobby. I appreciate the value, it saves me a bunch when Im bringing several kids! Definitely a great place to bring the younger kids to movies when youre not certain if they are able to sit through the whole show. Its pretty easy to get in and out compared to larger theaters when you have younger ones!

The manager had walked out on me in the middle of a transaction. I don’t understand to this point what happened. Why would someone treat there customers this way? When I only wanted to watch a movie. Furthermore, nothing was done as I was promised a phone call. My recommendation to people don’t waste your precious times with these people and theaters. It’s better to rent a movies on the go. These theaters don’t care about customer service. Walking on a customer is a “BIG”no.

I didnt see a movie here. We were walking through the mall and smelled the popcorn and wanted to get some. The price was slightly higher than century theaters on greenback but the popcorn tastes better. There are also candy selections available you cant get at century like Nerds for instance.

Price to get in is way more affordable than the big theatre. You just have to be willing to wait a little longer for the new movies to get here. Also chairs are still the old style, but that is ok giving the cost to get in is so reasonable.

Honestly, for the price, I think that its good enough. The staff there do their best with what theyre given. My wife and I end up going here a few times a year, and we always have fun. The screens are a little on the small side.

Not bad. Nothing fancy, but the arms of the seats fold up if you want to cuddle. It was clean, the staff was nice, and we enjoyed the movie. What more can you ask for, for the price?

I got a cheap matinee at like 5:50. And had a theater practically to myself! This theater doesnt show brand new movies and seems to get them several months after release. Its a good place to see things you forgot about or didnt have time to see in its first month. I think of it as a kind of second chance theater and Im pretty big on avoiding crowds.

Its fine for what it is. Its a cheap theater, you can come watch a matinee for 12 bucks for three people, thats a helluva deal in 2019. But if you want any popcorn, drinks, etc, you are going to spend at least 6 bucks per. It is what it is though.

Needs upgrade. To be in the Mall an upgrade to match the other theaters with comfy reclining seats, liqour bar and better menu would bring more people. The smell is an old smell which drives me crazy.

Only thing I asked for no ice water, but thet they brought with ice. Nice place to go.

This is a great place to take alot of kids and it wont put you in the poor house. I had five kids today and at the theater down the street it would be more than$60 just to get in. I spent less than$24.

They have great prices. Unfortunately, some of the movies they play are already out on video. Why would I pay to go see a movie that I could sit at home comfortably and watch it for less? The movies are not expensive but they get you with the refreshment prices like most of the other movie places.

Always a great experience here. $4 movies, plenty of seating, not crowded, calm setting. Their selection of movies are usually only 4-5 at a time but its well worth paying 1/3 of normal theater ticket prices.

Took my mom here to watch the movie breakthrough. Otto was horrible couldnt hear the movie very well. Got my mom the headset so she could hear that kept going in and out. Seats are extremely uncomfortable. And if somebody is sitting in front of you its really hard to see part of the screen. The movie is a great movie. Just poor quality theater

The theatre was clean, good seats, friendly attendants. The only downside was a rather small screen, but for $3.95 compared to the cost at other theatres, so what! There were surprisingly few customers, but it was a Wednesday evening, and Im certainly not complaining! I wasnt aware of the great prices, so other people may not be either. I will definitely return.

If you cant stand paying $12, $13, $14 at the movies and you dont mind waiting for some popular movies to make it to Sunrise, this is one of the best deals in town. Not everything will be shown here but enough so that there will be something you want to see. It was $3.99 last time I checked but if it goes up to $4.99 its still a steal. Small theatres but rarely sells out.

Pretty good for a 2nd run mall theater. Dont find these very often. Always plenty of room to stretch out. Concessions are cheaper than 1st run theatres. Its a magic trick how they have room for four screens.

Good for a 4$ movie theater, but the seats are a bit old, but what can you expect from a movie theater that a movie is only 4$?

The ticket taker was the only person whom could help clean the place in between shows. Hire more of our youth.

Nice to have a bargan theater in the area. Im rarely willing to spend $10-$12 for a movie (and it better be good) but some are better on the big screen. Just be patient and it will be at Sunrise. And you can rack up Regal reward points at the cheap theater and use your freebie for a first run flick.

Quick and easy to buy tickets

Ive been going here for quite a few years now. Great place to see a movie on a big screen. Go see the movie that you kinda wanted to see but didnt want to pay full price or go see a movie a second time after you already paid full price. The employees are great. Its good to see people walk the aisles to make sure everything is OK. The popcorn is very good. Dont forget that they make hardly anything of the ticket sales, get some popcorn and a soda.

While the theater is a little dated, you cant beat the ticket prices. Good way to get the kids out of the house, or catch a movie you missed when it first came out. Food and beverage prices are typically outrageous, like you find at any theater, so you may see the value in sneaking in some contraband Skittles. I recommend that you sign up for their app to earn free drinks and popcorn. Finally, the mall location makes parking easy.
