Who wouldnt love Michaels? Managed to pick up the best canvases at the best prices in all the paints to boot. Had a great time with my granddaughter picking out the arts and crafts.

I’ve always show my military ID for purchase discount but one cashier did not let me because told me to join the rewards program first. Online policy stated you can show your military ID and I’ve always did. I don’t understand why that cashier wouldn’t let me. Did the policy change? Online policy stated you can get your discount through your reward account or show an ID military card. I understand everyone has a bad day but always be courteous and helpful because you represent the company. Thank you.

Nice store just didnt have what we were looking for

An employee yelled at me and my child from across the store. Humiliated my child to tears. She had gotten into a ladder which was wrong, but yelling at someone abruptly when they are on a ladder and scaring them into a hurried descent is far from safe. We never find helpful employees unless we go to the front of the store and ask for someone, and I think we will be going to Joann from now on. There was no sign on the ladder or wall stating keep off; but my kid was wrong to get in it (not playing on it, trying to get yarn she needed). But they should retrain their employees to not tell and to remember their customers could have developmental disabilities which can be triggered by being yelled at by strangers.

Much better prices then Hobby Lobby.

Just another Michaels. The store was clean and fairly organized. Due to the holidays there were quite a few extra spaces full of festive crafts. This evening the line was quite long. Though I have the patients of a dead monk, the people around me were all chiming in on the wait. I just made conversation. The check out was average. There did not seem to be any kind of recognition for the need for haste. Everything was done slowly.All in all it wasnt a bad trip. It would be nice to have staff a bit more outgoing and upbeat to counteract the elbow to elbow shoppers.

I love this place but it is really easy to spend a lot of money. Its pricey. Still go often though.

The entire store was packed with customers some very rude and in a hurry, yet the service representatives were so courteous and kinda and moving quickly. My cashier was wonderful she had a great spirit and smile and even assisted me with a manager when the coupon wouldnt work. Michaels on Birdcage is wonderful.

Great place for crafting, quilting, sewing, etc

I love this store, they generally have everything Im looking for. The employees are friendly and helpful. There are so many opportunities to use coupons and their sales are always pretty great. Its in a really convenient location, right next to all the other shops and restaurants, so you dont really have to go too far out of your way to enjoy this store and what it has to offer.

They have great sales and a lot of crafty stuff. I would recommend going there for art supplies or drawing journals. They also have a great yarn selection.

Purchased a jumbo helium tank from them and received a box that was sealed with tape and had an empty helium tank inside! The issue was resolved and they exchanged it for a brand new one, however the employee gave me so much attitude as if it was my fault that they sold me an empty helium tank.

Cramped AF! Nobody wants to help, no one knows anything or anyone that does know. Cashier asked if I found everything, I told her that I couldnt and asked for help with the names items, she just kept checking the items I had, and gave me a total without batting an eye of recognition that I had an issue.Never going back to this Michaels ever.

Found one thing I was looking for right away. Was a little disappointed in the gift wrap selection. Keep in mind, in light of the current distancing guidelines they are requiring masks to shop.

A lil pricey for what i thought we were having done but the store was nice and the workers were helpful and knowledgeable.

This place never has any staff to help you. If you are an experienced crafter you may be fine. But I end up leaving everytime and usually get what I want at Ace Hardware with several people offering to help. I will try Hobby Lobby next time and see how their service is. If it is lame as well I will be back at ACE LOL or Amazon and You Tube Videos....

This is a good sized Michaels. Its a bit cramped and crowded despite the size but they are likely to have whatever you need. Awesome arts and crafts store.

This Michaels located in Birdcage is larger than the Michaels in Folsom.On this trip we needed to purchase a few jars of Testors enamel paint for a job for one of our customers. We tried this store first, because of the size, and larger assortment of product. We found tge colors we needed, although they were out of thinner.We went to the Folsom store, hoping yo get the thinner. They dont sell induvidual jars, only small kits.I love that Michaels offers a percentage-off weekly coupon for most everything. If youve signed up with them, youll get additional coupons and offers.Had to take one star off, because like so many places these days, they have long lines at the checkout. Yes, there are numerous registers, but they are all closed with only one cashier at one station. I just dont understand the lack of customer service at the end of your shopping visit. They have the ability to put icing on the cake so to speak, but your trip ends on a sour note, waiting on that one open register....

Went for the Halloween Clearance Deals... pretty disappointing selection remained but the 4 major items I wanted were still there! Im obsessed with this store so anyday I can walk in and leave spending less than $50 is a great day!

Great experience. Called agreed to check stock on item I was looking for. They put it aside at the front door me to review two different choices. This was my first time at this store after moving from another state.

I never walked into the store without a coupon. Always always check the app and Joannes at the except their competitors coupons. I like to go couple times a day sometime so I can always use a coupon. The staff here is pretty sweet, they are caring and Ill help you find anything youd like as long as they know where it is sometimes you dont even know where it is. This is definitely one of the better Michaels out in town I enjoy this on but I might be bias cuz it is literally less than a mile away from my house, nonetheless if you need to go to Michaels I choose this one

A good store for a little of every thing. Shopping strategically you can find good bargains and I always find a 40% or 50% off coupon on-line. They also started taking competitors coupons but its only 1 coupon per purchase. Not the greatest selection of art supplies but kniting, crocheting, decorative cooking, scrapbooking, beads and flower arranging supplies are all available. Plus so much more.

The employees here should be ashamed of themselves for treating me the way they did today. I asked permission to use the bathroom here which I was granted to do so. Upon leaving the restroom Im greeted by 2 security guards telling me I needed to leave the store. I was confused as to why being all I had done was enter the store and ask an employee if in could use the bathroom which they told me yes and unlocked the bathroom door for me. So since I was in there longer then 2-3 minutes that makes me a criminal? This gives them the right to publicly embarrass me and humiliate me in front of other customers as they were escorting me out of the store?! Im a female who was in desperate need of a restroom when I entered this store. I was in their bathroom too long in their opinion from what Im gathering from the way I was treated during my departure out of the restroom and out of the store. The reason I was in their a little longer then I guess is allowed because I had unexpectedly started my period and had bled through my pants!! So since I decided to go into a bathroom where I could not only wash and clean myself up but also change out of my period blood soaked pants and into some clean ones, this makes me someone that they are allowed to treat like some disgusting bag of trash that needs to be thrown out of the store?! This isnt right or ok by any means and Ill never ever spend a dime at this store. From here on out Im taking my business and a lot of my money spent to hobby lobby or Joannes craft store. Shame on you michelas for employeeing such rude and inconsiderate people. And just remember, what goes around comes around and when the day comes that you are treated the way you treated and made me feel today I can only hope youll remember why it is you are supposed to treat people how you want to be treated. Shame on you all, including the 2 security guards that acted as if I was some weirdo freak for trying to explain to them what was going on with me, which ended with me in tears completely embarrassed cuz of something out of my hands. I didnt ask to be born a female who has a monthly menstrual cycle and k should every have to feel as if I did something wrong because i am going through what nature created me to go through not to mention ashamed of the fact that I chose to do not only myself a favor but for the public eyes which was clean myself up and change my clothes to spare myself any shame and humiliation that I ended up getting anyways....

Michaels tends to get overlooked for Hobby Lobby, but they really do have great sales. And theyve always seemed to be more dedicated to art, drawing and painting than other big craft stores, which are predominantly becoming home decor stores anyway.

They are a well rounded store. The associates in the framing department are professional, speedy, knowledgeable, informative and with the times of vision of bringing your artwork to life. Angelita is a genuine, classic and traditional but modern mood style. Emilee has the flare, enhance, real and essence enhancement style. I wouldnt trade these two for anything in the world. This is what we did collectively ensync with one another. Love it. Lush Design.

Liked the merchandise.  Hated the customer service skills and they dont know how to treat nobody that walks thru their doors.  Instead of a welcoming feeling & a little space to allow the customers to get aquainted with the store and allow them to gain a comfort level that would no doubt make me wanna spend a ton of money at their store, i got some weird vibes from the same few people that ive never seen before in my life as they pretty much stalked me the entire time i was in the store.  When i say stalked, i dont mean it as in lightweight either.  Im talking aisle for aisle which included me visiting over 20+ aisles of their store.  Literally, i was more paranoid of being watched and possibly robbed or beatup as i attempted to leave their store than i was even thinking about what i wanted to buy during my visit.  Needless to say VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE.  FOR SURE.  If those two or three weirdos had nothing better to do that day but chase me around for an hour and a half like they were my biggest fan then, why not take that LP security wind breaker off their title & pay grade and give them some training in ettiquette, what it means to respect boundaries, some customer service skills, & overall  good manners..
