Fine establishment for youth sports! Basketball, volleyball, and futsal.Great coaches and Referees that care about the players and parents.Lots of opportunities to get good training, practice, and compete in games. They recently have made some improvements to the facility. I highly recommend that you get your youth involved in these activities.

Edit to respond to owner’s comment: no, that’s not me. My kids have not been playing for that long. Is this really how you treat your costumers that give an honest review? Maybe you should look in how you can improve your facility and costumer experience instead of bashing everyone that gives the review based on their experience. Think about that for a moment. Perhaps you are right and should should not come back. Good luck to you!

NBN is doing exactly what it is meant to do. providing a spot for YOUTH to have games. I have been taking teams there for years now. the roof leaking was a huge issue but at the same time I was there playing while they were working on it on multiple occasions. Refs are refs some good some bad but in the end you have to have refs to have a game, and trust me if I think the ref is bad they know it. The owners have always accommodated what was needed for me to bring teams there and if they couldnt they let me know before I paid. if you are looking for a place to get your kid or team some games played NBN does that. But seriously refs are the big issue? refs are the first ones blamed for everything, even if they are good refs.

Horrible experience. The referees were allowing blatant fouls, and when confronted they actually said the owner coached the other team and it was what it was. The referees and the coach/owner should be embarrassed.

1.Owner does not use his profits to fix anything; court floors, roof, nor parking lot.2. Concession prices are inflated to a ridiculous price, but not absurd(almost tho).3. Referees allow jungle-ball to keep the games moving, increasing the risk of your child getting hurt.4. Referees are only interested in their buddies team(s). They dont hide this and they dont care if you know.5. Bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, with many times of completely being unusable do to backup sewer water spilling out to the common area. There is really nothing good about this place except its convenience if you live near the area. It only thrives because there is no alternative and the owner and staff know that, therefore, they dont care about the customer.

I would not recommend. The Building is run down with the roof leaking on the courts. Parking and lot are terrible. The Officiating is also suspect. Geared toward the teams that play in Nothin leagues. The Red head official this weekend called 25-4 fouls in one of our games. Thought it was funny as head said it was his court. Calling consecutive fouls in the last minute until the Home team went ahead on free throws. Our teams will not be going back.

We have been going to Nothin but Net for a few years. My daughter plays volleyball and my husband has been playing on the 35+ league. I noticed the ceiling looks like it needs to be repaired, but I have never noticed wet courts or towels on the court. Our daughter has had all good experiences and enjoys playing there. It is reasonably priced and close to home. The refs are all great and work really well with the kids. I was recently watching my nephew play basketball and the ref knew every single kid’s name. Impressive. Any time I have a question and email, I always get a quick response. Thanks for providing our east side kids a place to play!

This place is not the cleanest and things are falling apart, but the ONLY thing I care about are the court conditions. It should be reasonable to assume the court will be generally safe when you sign your son or daughter up to play there. Safety does not appear to be a priority. We just left a tournament there where my daughter wiped out twice on wet floors due to the MULTIPLE leaks in the roof from the snow. Luckily she was not injured too bad, however I witnessed other girls fall on wet floors today as well. Parents, coaches and refs have to do their best to continuously wipe the floors during games. We played on two courts today and both have several leaks above. I heard this has been an issue for quite some time. This is a big place with a very big roof so I’m sure the repairs will be costly, however it really needs to be addressed. Maybe charge a little more at the door to help pay for it? Not sure, but I am sure we won’t be back if it’s raining or snowing. My advice is check the weather before you go.

Owner does a good job of trying to maintain a nice complex. There is very little money made here due too the high overhead of the facility. I live near the facility and never experience any problems with them. This is a very safe place to visit.

Having only been there a few times & reading these other ratings, I need to add... It is a bit of a drop in comparison to other sports plex buildings. Yet the floors are great, the refs are probably as close to wonderful as any Ive seen over the past 30yrs. It does have some down fall but the arent many that dont!! I give em a 4out of 5 only because 5 would be perfect and thats tough to say about any Plex, after all their job is making money & it is tough to make money and make the experience perfect... So great job all, just keep working at making things better...

So many problems with this place. Should have known it was run down when we were charged admission and then told we had to run the scoreboard ourselves. Ceilings leak! Kids had to play a game today with 2 towels in the middle of the court soaking up leaks. How can this be considered safe? Floors are terribly dirty, kids slipping everywhere. Long story short. Refs called a good game and worked with the kids. Facility is a dump though.

Pros: lots of league offerings. kids seem to have fun. good location for eastsiders.cons: place is like a zoo on weekends. tons of people...fire marshal would probably shut this place down. ceiling constantly leaks and they make the refs/spectators wipe up puddles with towels periodically. have seen kids slip. one of these times it will be a lawyers kid and this place will be out of business. guess thats why they are an LLC! Of all of the reviews about the leaking ceilings, i have not seen the owners respond to a single one. its like they are ignoring this problem.

Deplorable conditions and worried about the safety of the ceiling/roof when our kids are playing basketball. You can see mold in the ceiling. The ladies restroom is nasty. The parking lot is deplorable especially in the back with lots of debris and whats with all the weird tires everywhere? Fix it or shut it down!

They dont take credit cards at the snack bar, only cash. This is 2018 and there are plenty of options for accepting credit cards that are reasonable and easy to use. This isnt a ball field in the middle of nowhere, its a busy, established facility that sees plenty of traffic, which can get a point of sale system installed and maintained.

Today is a perfect example of why I felt that one star is all I can give this facility. It is raining and at least three courts have water from leaking ceiling. This is not a new issue, yet it has not been addressed. We have parents wiping floors with towels in order for their kids not to get hurt. The ceilings have literally been falling apart for the past two years.A year later nothing has changed. Roof is leaking, coaches and refs are having to stop games to towel off floors from snow coming thru the ceilings!!!! No light on the back parking lot, only huge craters in the pavement.I guess unless someone gets really hurt management will not fix anything.

Most of the staff is friendly and the facility could use some tlc along with the back parking lot. The overall experience has been decent and it’s a good workout for the girls. However some of the basketball officials are clearly just wanting the game to be over and it be at the cost of the safety of the players. Physical games don’t need to go so far that kids are getting hurt just because the referee is ready to collect payment and call it a day. Don’t get me wrong it’s only a few and trust me you’ll know it about 2 minutes into the game. Win or lose these kids shouldn’t have to get hurt to get a whistle blown.I am adding a star and to the post I added a day ago and wanted to say that the fact that they actually take the time to read and communicate with people who post reviews is impressive and very respectable. I appreciate their willingness to at least explain things someone may not see since a lot of reviews are posted in anger. While that back parking lot may not be as good as the front, at least we have it to utilize. A simple explanation of why it is the way it is should quiet the complainers, me included. I’m glad we have that back lot - could you imagine if we didn’t. I also noticed some harsh reviews of the facility, and yes i still think it has some issues that need addressed, none are life or death. I challenge anyone who feels like running a facility of that magnitude would be an easy task, to look around their own properties and see if theirs are perfect. We all have things we could and will make better I’m sure. Sometimes things just have to be prioritized over others but eventually they get done. I’m thankful for the facility and that the kids have the opportunity to take part in events NBN facilitates at this location. I was not aware that there was a place to review officials and now that I am I’ll utilize it to express concerns and compliments. It’s just as important to tell someone when they have done a good job as it is the negative things I hope we all want to prevent. I wish that others would use this asset so hopefully they can maintain knowledgeable, impartial, qualified referees and keep everyone safe while competing and learning. These are just my opinions and they don’t matter much. Please don’t be offended by them if you read this, you are entitled to your own.

Absolute money grab. Terribly organized. Many teams without coaches whatsoever. Refs are constantly in over their heads. Kids get in fights every week. No control of the games. Constant complaints from parents who are never given answers or solutions to their concerns for their childrens safety. Better off sending your kids to Sports Plus or even the park down the street. Not worth the money.

Im only writing this review out of complete concern! All the refs and why I say all is because every game so far they allow boys to be ruff and they call no fouls. It is literally like watching a street ball game with kids. Kids are not safe and going to get really hurt! This seriously needs to be addressed. My child has been hurt several times. The last game he played he was hit in his middle section. He was on the floor crying and nothing was called!!!! Im not the one to complain but when I see little kids not being taught right and its not safe how they play Im going to say something! When and if these kids play anywhere else or when they get older will be fouled out! They are 9 years old and like I said its like watching outside street ball! The refs also play favoritism. I just believe there needs to be a change or its going to give you a bad name. So this is a heads up and Im sure this is what alote of parents are thinking cause Ive heard it! These kids can really get hurt out there when calls are not being made just cause they want to keep game going. I feel they dont call cause it will slow down the game. It should be #1 safety and #2 learning the game. Hope you all take this to heart and something is done for the kids.Thank you!

I have played in 2 tournament there and i will not pmay in another one. The refs are horrible when its a close game with the home team. It happens in the elimination play after seeding. If the nbn team is leading the calls are ok but when they are losing or close to it they stary calling calls they havent been all game against the other team. It happened in the first tournament but i thought it was just one of those things. But when the exact same thing happened in the last tournament it was the final straw. The refs would even over turn a call from the opposite end of court when was impossible for him to see. I coach multiple teams and WILL NOT enroll another team in any of there tournaments.

Had a great experience at Nothin But Net for 4 years. The owners were extremely nice people every single time I had to deal with them.... I was around enough to realize they have nothing to do with the officiating.Every sports complex/gym needs refs,(whether they are good or bad) thats how it works.NBN has beautiful courts and leagues, especially for basketball and volleyball for any level, competitive or rec. My best friends fiancé Mom also had her little brothers birthday party at NBN and she couldnt stop talking about how fun it was! Nothin But Net really is A gem right in the heart of east side Cincinnati! The NBN staff is also extremely polite/nice/helpful. Our family had a great experience with Mark, great guy... I definitely give this facility a positive review.P.S. I hate/no nothing about soccer, but heard they have great Futsal leagues there too!
