This place had everything I needed at a reasonable price to spend time with my grandchildren during covid-19. I bought paint and paint brushes and canvases. I also bought canvases that already had the drawings on them with the paint attached to it also. I took my grandchildren to the park we found has been and we painted and had a wonderful time

Found a neat gift for my 3 year old godson. But was mainly looking for a gift for my 12 year old nephew who is into art. Nothing really fit him in our price range.

Caught a sale on Artists Loft Level 1 acrylic paint. I hope they are nice quality. I like Basics. But, I like sales more.

Store is too small for the amount of inventory. Difficult to maneuver and easily find what I needed. Fortunately I found help from a very nice salesperson. I ll return.

They had arts! And they also had crafts!But really, its the only store for that in Kenwood. Plaza has high quality art supplies, but its light on the crafts. The next closest place I know of is in Cincinnati.

Whatever craft your into such as making candy to building artificial flower bouquets. This place has it all for a competitive price. I shop here frequently, because the staff is always helpful and friendy.

A bit of a walk if your handicapped, but they do have a riding/driving cart for customers to use as well as a wheelchair. Employees are nice and considerate. If you can’t find your coupon that was mailed to you and the same percentage off or the same type of coupon isnt on the app - 9 times out of 10, this location will have an extra one for you to use.

This is the best looking Michaels I have seen. Very organized, clean and nicely decorated.. Plenty of isle space. Check out the online coupons for larger savings.Easy to find what craft or hobby items you need and even some you just found! If you cant find the location just ask the super friendly employees.Located in the shared, but seperate, inside space of Homegoods and TJ Max.

This location the people are just rude. Ive been in at several different times of the day,on several different occasions everyone is just rude.

My Granddaughter was with me. We were on a mission, meaning I had a Christmas list. She was my elf that afternoon. I was purchasing 2 picture frames. She (12), and I discussed and thoroughly looked before I purchased!! Very nice store! Maybe smaller than some Michaels. Every Cash Register opened, as needed. The space to check out is narrow, when two people have carts.

I going back there all kind of interesting project to buy there art classes they said for birthday party classes .

The new Michaels in Kenwood is amazing! It has everything I have needed for my crafting, and I do a lot of different types of crafting, from home decorating, to knitting, to scrapbooking, to framing, to candy making, the list goes on. The people working there are so nice, helpful, and patient. I just love frequenting this new store! It is clean and organized. I was never a Michaels shopper before this one opened, but now Im hooked! They take all competitor coupons too.

This Michaels is pretty large and nice. But, Michaels really great when you have a decent coupon to use. Otherwise, a lot if items are way overpriced; especially their picture frames.

I wanted to buy Canvas,medium,and a fan brush.We looked at gel pens,coloured pencils,hats,as my Mom will demonstaite below,we had fun dreaming of even more projects.

I really want to love this location, but whoever made the decisions on how to organize the aisles..... wow. Its a bit difficult to find specific items, unless all you want is random generic decor. Sale items are mixed in with regularly priced items, so you might face disappointment at the checkout. I went in for summer and Spring flowers, to make a new door wreath. There were signs covering the entire floral section saying that all Spring and summer flowers were on sale, but only one of my actual items rang up at a discount. A clerk told me I had to look at each individual tag to know which ones were on sale, but the flowers dont have a tag on them that specify which season they belong to. And the aisles are always filled with boxes and carts, making it difficult to navigate and peruse.

I like to get really nice gift boxes here. Definitely for people who want to get a little crafty or make something look great.

The Kenwood location is one I go to as a last resort. The location has been difficult to acess; only from the rear of the building, down a long hall. I did see an entrance at the front of the mall today, finally. The store is very small, and seemingly not well organized. Any sale items are not in a central location. The sale items are scattered throughout the store according to employees, in small quantities. That one fact is enough for me to skip this store. Im not willing to wander around the entire store, on the chance I MIGHT find a good/interesting deal. As a retired teacher who spent much, much $$ at Michaels, I wont be back at the Kenwood store any time soon. AND Hyde Park Plaza will rue the day they forced Michaels out of their plaza.
