If you can navigate the building, the half a dozen galleries and display cases are worth checking out. Exhibits are constantly rotating approximately monthly, but staggered so there is always something fresh.
Rotating art gallery located in UC’s college of Art, Architecture, and Planning. The building is very confusing and it’s hard to find anything inside. Sometimes the art is very cool, sometimes it’s literally garbage.
Unique building. Creativity everywhere you look.
The DAAP Galleries generally have a good rotation of quality art, but it is set in such a small space that it is only good for 10 or 15 minutes of viewing. Add to that the location within a labyrinthine building (which I love, but many dont) where one can get lost for a half hour, which is always full of students, and you have yourself a pretty dumbed down gallery experience.Just be sure to ask the first person you see for directions to the gallery, unless you want to take an adventure.
The food here is meh, but they have some cool stuff to look at.
