I found the art very interesting, and the whole idea of the place and what it offers guests and the public to be refreshing, captivating and at times surreal.I cant wait till the Corona virus over and you can go back to drinking wine while relaxing in all the lounge furniture and gazing at all the beautiful art while striking up fabulous conversations with fellow art aficionados.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. The staff is incredibly welcoming. Staying here is as if you were able to camp overnight in a museum except the beds are luxurious with wonderful pillows. The bathrooms are bright with a wonderful walk in shower (see if you can find the body parts!) The restaurant has a wonderful breakfast menu in an open airy dining room where you are joined by the large penguins. Highly recommend this hotel.

Not that great the room was not what it was advertised to be at all. very small, no microwave, no bath tub. Only two flat pillows on a king bed and no mini bar as advertised. For the price of 600.00 for 3 nights the room was absolutely disappointing. A hot shower, the art and exceptional valet services were the best part of my stay.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice of hotel.The staff was amazing! Chuck the valet staff was my new best friend. Tell him don’t forget the Kings! All of the Front Desk attendants and all of the young men that brought our luggage up and down! They are what made the hotel! The art work was stunning in and outside of the hotel! This weekend I’m going to the 21c in Louisville, Kentucky just because of the amazing stay I had this past weekend! Thank you and I’ll see you all next year!

Not overly impressed with the room, but the art throughout the building was very nice. The art in the shower/bathroom was particularly interesting.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and event venue, staff was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive. I was at the hotel for a wedding, as a photographer, and could not be happier with the venue. The rooftop bar is incredible for nighttime photos, and the area is top notch. Shout out to our brilliant bartender, Mary, who kept everyones thirst at bay all night! The rooms are spacious, clean, and have terrific views. The artwork is just icing an already delicious cake.Highly recommend this hotel for events, especially if youre taking photos.

The museum is so beautiful and the art featured is incredibly diverse and inclusive. I was really amazed at everything. Though it was a little louder than Id expect for a museum, but that probably had more to do with a photo shoot taking place at the same time

What a terrible experience, especially from a hotel with a good reputation. First, everywhere we went in the hotel smelled like weed. Smell-wise, It was like walking around a dumpy motel. Hallway... weed, get on the elevator... weed, get off the elevator... weed. Then, they had our room next to a room that had a huge party all night. At 1 in the morning they were still full blown yelling and playing extremely loud music. This is in a room separated from our room by only an interior door. By two in the morning it was still so bad my wife and I decided to just pack up and leave, with no rest, and no rest to be had if we stayed. I could not have been more disappointed by what is supposed to be a nice hotel. Quite possibly the worst hotel experience Ive had, as its the only time Ive ever left a hotel in the middle of the night.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Our wedding weekend was fabulous and the art gallery was unique, intriguing and beautiful.

I had high hopes for such a nice hotel. I was only passing through for the night and was hoping to grab a drink and food before bed but was sad to say the bar closed at 10pm on a Friday night and I also couldn’t get a beer at the commissar after 11pm.I walked the museum and enjoyed the experience especially at late hours.Sadly I was underwhelmed with the room and felt I would’ve had way more for selecting the luxury room over a standard which still felt like it was below the bar of a chain hotel.Lack of pillows and the tv not being hooked up was the final straw and enough on top of everything else for me to be annoyed enough to voice frustration for a hotel I had excitement looking forward.Sadly I don’t think I’ll bring trying this one again.

The hotel was great. The Staff were exceptionally friendly, everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff said hello. My one and only complaint is minor and its that there are no ice machines on each floor. You have to call up ice and someone from the front desk brings it. My room also didnt have the greatest view, but the nice trade off was that it was very quiet at night and easy to sleep.Beyond that, the actual bed was very comfortable to sleep on. The rooms and the hotel have interesting décor but everything is new and sleek. Even the lights in the room were super convenient so you could do everything without getting out of bed. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Cincinnati

Its an interesting hotel and the staff is absolutely amazing. I knownrhings a re different with COVID-19 but no one mentioned that on a Monday or Tuesday you cant ordereoom service of any type. Usually not an issue but my stroller wheel busted and it ahcks carrying a 30lb child down town for food lol. Its a must have experience

Outdated hotel with unprofessional and unfriendly staff! They wouldnt know hospitality if it hit them square in the eyes! AC hotel or the new Lytle Park hotel are much better.

Positive: I loved the water pressure and temperature control of the shower. The hotels wait staff were even better than I remember. Negative: The carpets are dirty and they actually smell if you get too close. There were lots of stains on the carpet as well. The restaurant food is not what it used to be nor was the staff service in the restaurant.

A weekend getaway todowntown Cincinnati. Great location and friendly staff/service. They make you feel welcomed and helpful. The room was comfortable and bathroom is well designed and appearance. Nice gym for workouts and close location to the riverfront for a run.

21C is a multifaceted space. Once a hotel turned apartments. It now has a restaurant, museum, and serves as a hotel. Spa services are offered here. Valet parking available. Located in a walkable area. Theres a variety of retail shops and restaurants. The space at first experience seems to be well thought out. Words or phrases to describe the facility: 100 percent in cleanliness. Top notch. Upscale. Meeting Spot. Quick bite to eat. Come stay awhile. Reflection of what the developers hope for the New downtown (business center). Nearby Parking can get pricey (8.00 for two hours, 21.00 a day (dont lose that ticket)), so if you dont have it to splurge or dont want to splurge taking local transportation (taxi, uber, lyft) may be your best bet. It all depends. The Aronoff sits east to the 21Cmuseum. Its a busy area. Estimated 15 minute walk from the river depending on the pace in which you walk.

Positive: From the valet to entering my room the service was truly immaculate. I never had a single problem during my stay! The entire staff on all shifts whom I interacted with was the best to say the least! I was definitely satisfied with my stay. Boutique hotel with all the needed amenities - spa, workout room, very good restaurant. Also has a public art space. Art is eclectic and interesting. Vibe is modern but unpretentious. Room was simple, but spacious, comfortable and clean. Shower need a bit of maintenance as handle came off. Overall a very good experience and value for the price and would stay again.

Tub with steam shower amazing. Negative: Light switches were hard to navigate in 1009. I could not get USB port charge my devices.

Gem in Cincinnati. I only visited the museum and the restaurant for lunch. Staff where super friendly and the food very tasty. I had the burger and with Cincy sausage on a side. Really good and with a reasonable price. The museum has a small collection of contemporary art and is open 24 hours. There is also a roof bar.

Perfect location when attending events at Aronoff Center; just across the street. Level of service is excellent from the valet parking to checking in to housekeeping. Unique selection of cocktails in bar. Not to mention the wonderful art atmosphere.

21c Cincinnati was perfect! From the time we pulled up the staff was so friendly and properly was gorgeous! Even though it was a busy holiday we felt like we were the only guests! The rooms were wonderful, clean, modern, and the beds were so comfortable.

I as treated very badly by staff at the front. I realize times are hard and everyone’s having a tough time but it ruined my vacation.

This was a beautifully appointed hotel, with art everywhere, even in the rooms. The bathroom in particular was very striking, which is not something you would normally say about a hotel. The location is great as well, right in the middle of downtown. I was disappointed that we couldnt actually see all the art because of a wedding reception that was happening the same night we stayed there. The staff told us we could still wander through, but it felt too much like crashing someones wedding. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the room smelled a little bit like mildew, and for the price we were paying, Im not super happy about that. But we didnt complain at the time, so I honestly cant be that upset about it.

Its our first time staying. Having a great time so far. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and luxurious. Bathroom is amazing! I am missing having a microwave and fridge, though. Some lights were not working, but were fixed. Our package did come with a voucher for food st the attached restauraunt, but we werent able to use it all since we didnt know once we used it any left over money doesnt transfer. The restaurant pricing and food quality was kind of disappointing, but staff was still great. We cant wait to come back here.

I was astounded by the quality of art in the hotel, and the staff was phenomenal. There are galleries to see, a heated bathroom floor, great amenities and the restaurant has outstanding food. I loved the hotel and will return.

TV did not work...twice. Internet did not work. Bed sits about 18” off floor and not comfortable. No coffee in morning as promised. The service staff tried, but I got tired of them apologizing for the hotel short comings. Definitely not worth the money!

To say my stay at this hotel was AMAZING is an understatement. From the artistic decor to the welcoming staff I truly enjoyed every detail this property had to offer. I made my way through the gallery many times to capture much of the incredible art that is breathtaking. The night audit front desk representative (Ashley) and I had amazing conversation and she encouraged me to view every art piece, and even recommended where I could see more amazing art in the area. Adding my review to my original stars only review. The hotel was unique and very pretty. I loved the artwork and found myself wandering around just to take it all in. Its centrally located to many nice spots to enjoy a meal or drinks. The hotel staff was very nice and I loved the extra little artsy touches in the rooms. This was my first time actually staying in Cincinnati after many work visits to the area. Im so glad my company picked this place for once. I definitely changed my mind about visiting Cincinnati in the future.

Boutique hotel in, my opinion, the best neighborhood of Cincinnati. The hotel has a rotating exhibit of art throughout the hotel, and each room had its on unique artistic flare as well. Rooms are stylish and spacious. The restaurant attached to the hotel, Metropole, offers a great breakfast with creative cocktails. Ive been once for dinner, but honestly enjoyed breakfast a bit more. Befittingly there are numerous galleries and the Contemporary Art Center located adjacent to the hotel. You will also find a myriad of neighbor hood pubs, restaurants, and coctail bars located within walking distance. The staff here is always accommodating and beyond helpful. Highly recommend staying here when in Cincinnati.

Its always a delight to visit this place. The bar is one of the most innovative in town, and the gallery is always curated with interesting and provocative works. Along with traditional installations they also feature some interactive and experiential pieces as well. Best of all, as it is the lobby of a hotel, the museum is open at all hours of the day and night!

Very nice, clean hotel downtown. 10 min walk to the casino. The room I was in you could here music from a bar that was close. Isnt that what staying downtown in the middle of its all about. The beds were clean and comfy.

A “fancy” throwback hotel that’s full artistic flow and heritage. Each room designed different than the next. Make sure too stop down at metropole and grab a bite too eat or enjoy a cocktail at the bar as you take in the ambiance.

I will recommend this hotel. Its good for the price and location. You are in the heart of downtown Cincinnati within walking distance (less than 3 blocks) of food and fun. The Ohio river is 0.5 miles crows flight. The hotel is aesthetic. The double bedded rooms are clean and fairly large.

Stayed here for a fun weekend trip. Amazing service, fun rooftop bar, and if you are going to get a massage you wont be disappointed here. Is it pricey, yes, but it is worth the price. I thought so. Gem of an Art Boutique Hotel centrally located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati! A unique experience, especially if you enjoy quirky and sometimes bizarre art. The rooms are modern, spacious, totally renovated, very clean, with crisp sheets and comfortable bedding. The room was quiet and temperature excellent. A complimentary Nespresso machine, iron/ironing board, slippers and robes were provided. (But, no in-room safe.)The front desk staff was young and friendly. Overnight parking was extra, but, the valets were top-notch, providing fast curbside and unlimited in-out privileges. There is an on-site dining room, roof-top bar, spa and museum-style gift shop. Large colorful, plastic penguins were scattered throughout the property, adding a playful touch to the space.Recommended restaurants within close walking distance: Boca for upscale dining, and, Nederland Hotels Palm Court for Sunday Brunch. Reservations are a must for both. Nada, directly across the street has amazing Mexican/Southwest menu for casual in-house dining or takeout.Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

My girlfriend and I stayed here overnight for a weekend getaway. Lovely accommodations and great view. The best part was definitely after our fancy dinner coming back and popping the champagne we brought, putting on robes and slippers, and walking through the gallery super relaxed. I honestly cant recommend that part enough. Also, front desk was great and service for things we needed was very polite and fast. Would absolutely come back!

Its definitely artsy but a little to on the fringe for me. The weird tiles in the bathroom and some of the current exhibits were a little much.

Wonderful place for art lovers or for those folks who want to know about contemporary art . Art made of different mediums from clothes , jute ,metal to many more forms. With a collections of over 3k pieces from around the world with more being added every year the owners have their art pieces displayed at their 9 ( maybe more ) hotels and some traveling to museums as well .

The property itself was so so. The museum was a cool option but not a lot and was not my taste. My room was the absolute smallest room I have ever stayed in. No on demand tv, the window view was blocked off by nasty dirty buildings, the shower was sooooo tiny. It was so cramped, that I would not stay here again. $38 plus tip for parking is insane. Parking around the corner was $10 per night.

This hotel is a very unique and is fresh space. The museum portion is filled with imaginative art. I enjoyed the event that I attend there, and I hope to return to view the space again.

Positive: Really cool setting. Negative: Valet was expensive and extremely slow. One time it took 40 minutes to get my vehicle. Unacceptable. Will not stay here again.

I had a great time today at this place and the best part was that when my feet started aching from wearing and dancing in my heels, they had comfy house slippers on hand. This hotel goes above and beyond for all of their guest.

Took a tour before booking our suite and block of rooms for our wedding. The hotel is unique, fun, and interesting...art is everywhere throughout the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful. The staff is amazing...very professional and knowledgeable. The entire hotel is impeccable.We cant wait to stay there for our wedding weekend!

We came out here for a Reds baseball game with a group of 15 and seriously have been taken care of from the amazing staff from booking to check out. Not only are we a large group we are a large group with a lot of needs; ADA accommodations were phenomenal here working with local business to meet our needs and we had little kids under the age of 5 who LOVED to have a penguin surprise them in their room. On our last night we received an amazing gift from the 21c penguins with a lovely card and lots of goodies including stuffed animals for the kids and souvenirs to remember our trip here.I will always stay here!Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Stylish surroundings AND the best mattress in a hotel within memory. The rooftop lounge is a nice bonus.. one of the better Manhattans and panoramic views.
