Great music venue! Saw zak brown band recently and he was amazing. Parking is tough, and so is getting in and out in ride share apps. Be prepared to wait a while to find your car and get out of the traffic jam. Great food and beverage choices inside, and every seat is a good one. Even the lawn! Note- you can rent lawn chairs and leave them on the grass after for the staff to pickup.

We saw RA RA RIOT, Jimmy Eat World and Third Eye Blind. Each band were on point and sounded amazing. The venue itself is incredible, parking was efficient and fast, plus you can tailgate, so awesome. It has a huge pit area, great seating and a huge upper grass area. Not a bad seat in the house. The drinks and eats were plentyful and varied, what youd expect. We really enjoy this venue and will go back again and again. Now its your time to enjoy my friends.

Been here a couple of times to watch a show. The amphitheater is outdoor so dress accordingly. It can get very cold. A lot of seats to choose from and the most economical ones are the lawn seats. Theres also a pit up in the front. The couple times Ive been here I sat in the middle. Doesnt look like theres any bad seats.Making your way to the venue is mapped out clear. Theres a lot of cones to direct traffic.A lot of parking available.Make sure to visit their website to see what you are allowed to bring in.The only negative about this place is the price of the drinks. Double shot of Crown Royal is $22... A rip off but hey, I couldve easily walk away but I didnt. Still paid $44 for 2 drinks. Sigh...Overall, a great place for concerts.

Mostly a good place for a show. The lawn is fun and it feels like a great view even if you’re dozens of rows away. Drinks can get really expensive and getting to parking is a nightmare if you haven’t been before and don’t get there early (or leave early enough). I feel like all of these tiny things are why you see entire sections empty even though people bought the tickets. It’s hard to convince people to go through the pains of attending a show there. If there was decent public transportation here, it would be 5 stars. Also, my credit union kept telling me I got benefits for being a member but they don’t really make it easy to figure out what those benefits are (if any).

Went to see Beck and Cage the Elephant this past saturday. First and last time we go there. We spent an hour in traffic trying to figure out where to park as there are NO signs anywhere, and the traffic control staff is seriously overwhelmed. After parking, we walked to the gate only to be confronted with another huge line to get inside the gate. We were directed around the venue to a shorter line that ended up taking another 30 minutes before we finally got in. We missed the first two bands because of the sheer mess that is this venue. Highly do not recommend unless you absolutely MUST see your favorite artist. Even then, plan on being there all day.

This a beautiful outdoor setting for concerts BUT in an awful location. Give yourself triple extra time for arriving as there is only one-way into this location. Traffic was backed up onto the freeway and remained Red until we were into the parking lot. (Consider the parking upgrade, it can try help)Take food and drinks and enjoy a tail-gate party because you cannot bring ANY food or drink OR chairs into the venue (one bottle of unopened, liquid -not frozen, water is o.k.)Also, allow another half-hour or more to snake through the line to walk in! Yes, it is rigorous, and you have to be determined to get in.Once youre in, then relax and enjoy.

Great venue! When we were walking in it looked like it was going to be a very empty crowd but when the bands started it was packed! The size is great for the amount of people it can hold. The downside is leaving. We Ubered (so did about half the crowd) there was a ridiculously long line to leave. We ended up paying a taxi $30 to go about 2.5 miles because of how long the Uber was going to take. It looks like a fairly new venue or remodelled so I thought they would have had better accommodations. We saw Barenaked Ladies and Hootie and the Blowfish!! GREAT Performance!!

The biggest complaint for me, is the often name change. Joking.Great outdoor arena. Sound is great if in the seated section as that is where the mix board is located. Good breeze, nice sunset views even though some is landfill. You would never know. The vendor service is excellent but pricey. It took almost an HOUR from when we got to the amphitheatre, till we got to a parking spot. (At least parking was free, you vould pay extra for closer parking, but it would have taken just as long to get to that lot) Then lines were so long, they back tracked all the way back to the parking lot we had just come from, and took another hour to get inside. We got here at 6pm, didnt get in until after 8. Missed both opening bands, Ive learned my lesson....come super early! lol We have lawn tickets. I was afraid wed have to go up and down the stairs just for food or bathrooms, but there were a ton of bars and flushable port-o-potties, plus traditional restrooms and food vendors walking through the crowd selling cotton candy, churros, water, etc....Idk why the two side tvs were in black and white the whole show either, kinda odd

Excellent venue. Easy access. Cheap/free parking. Comfortable seats. Easy access to restroom facilities. Plenty of venders. We saw Van Morrison play. Everything was great except the camera work. The cameras for the big screens were not focused. And the cameras were way off on tracking the activity on stage. They kept the cameras on Van even when he was in the dark and not singing or playing. They did not switch to his musicians when they were playing solos. The isolated shots on the artists were at bad angles - behind music stands for example. We saw Van in the Hollywood Bowl two nights earlier and the camera work was much better there. Luckily we were close up at the second show so we were not dependant on the screens to enjoy the show.

This place is huge and parking is horrendous even with a privileged parking pass. Even with Valet parking it is horrible trying to find which driveway to turn into...the signage is terrible and the streets are clogged with cars trying to get into the parking lots. Even going early does not help at all. I went to one concert there: Cyndi Laupner and Rod Stewart together. I enjoyed the concert only because we had seats close to the stage. However when Rod Stewart came on everyone stood up so you could not see if you were sitting however you could still hear so I just listened. Getting out of the parking lot and getting to the freeway was also time consuming and horrible...I can tell you I will never go to a concert there again. Awesome!!! Love this venue. Great for Rock, Country, Jam bands and more! My babe just took my to see Brad Paisley, with Chris Lane for my birthday and it was a perfect night as always at the ampitheatre. Now dont ask me about the name because they change it every year it seems... (bought and sold or sponsership? I dont know...) either way this is my favorite music venue in San Diego. The location is a bit far but it is worth it for the ease of avvess and ample parking. It also gives it a feeling of being out in nature because you are!I love the minimal light polution from the city giving the venue the opportunity to create the ideal atmosphere for a real concert. This is an outdoor ampitheatre, so dress appropriately or bring a little blanket for comfort. Every seat is good, and you can often get great seats for a really fair price.I couldnt believe how close we got for under $200. I have seen multiple styles of music here including Dave Matthews Band, and everyone has sounded amazing.Ok now I know youre wondering about those vegatarian options... they have nailed it!! They carry the signiture Questlove Cheese steak , beyond burgers, potatoe street tacos, and much more... Of course they got the meat lovers covered too... but that is to be expected.I really appreciate the abundance of restrooms overall smooth process of getting in and out of the venue. They have metal detectors for safty, and staff checking tickets at each section so you dont get people in your seats. I quit vaping but noticed they let people in with them which is a huge plus if your a vapor.I highly recommend seeing as many shows as possible here, and hope to play here myself one day.

What a fantastic venue here. We spent more to go VIP and they made it a great experience fro parking. Pre-show dinner to great seats and after treats.

Great place for a concert outdoors. Good view from every angle. You can get beer or a drink from good beerhouses like Stone. Only downfall is there is only 1 exit and traffuc gets jammed when trying to leave.

So much fun every time! I have been here for several concerts and never been disappointed with the venue. Beers are expensive, but if you are smart and tailgate before, you will be good to go. Great fun even from the lawn seats.
