A close to home Serenity!

The Chula Vista Yacht Club is in the Chula Vista Yacht Marina complex of the all-in-one Cape Cod-looking building. I attended a private Celebration of Life in the CVYC room at the north end of the complex.It was a gorgeous and simple setting to celebrate the beautiful loving life of my high school friends mothers life of 94 (5 days short of 95!) years.The meeting room held about a dozen tables, each seating eight people, had room for buffet serving tables, a dance floor, a full kitchen, and pass-thru route to stairs to a 2nd floor room.The room had two restrooms, but more restrooms were available close-by in the complex. The parking was very good at 4:30 p.m. However, it fills up as Happy Hour & dinnertime approaches.The Celebration was catered & potluck.There were 5 generations of family at Momas passing. Praise the Lord!
