This is a lovely local museum, with a great docent program and a strong local arts gallery. The garden is a favorite!

Good repository for local historical artifacts, newspapers, and genealogy, with interesting, rotating, themed exhibits. Excellent Bimonthly exhibits of local artists. Beautiful gardens tended by master gardiners.

When I visited, the Wilderness Road Festival was taking place. Fun for the whole family.

A quaint little museum rich with art and history. Docents are friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a work in progress and most appropriate for those 10 and up.
