Went to Chippewa Falls 1869: The Musical and was really impressed! I personally think that they should do Chippewa Falls 1869: The Musical... On Ice! I really like the venue; made you feel like nice and in a dinner theater presence. They building looked very up-kept as well and could be used for various preforming art pieces. I am excited to see what they have in store later!

Wonderful building with lots of history, it truly makes Chippewa a better town especially with all the events, & gatherings they hold for the people in town.

We held our wedding reception here. Its a beautiful venue, and the whole staff was phenomenal. Everything turned out perfectly!

Its beautiful. So many things tovlook at and do there. Concerts, weddings, parties, art shows, plays.

For years I have come here for a plethora of different events. It is the place to go for a great time. The stage is very big and offers a lot of room to work with. The floor is also very open and can be arranged with just chairs or tables or completely open! Staff is very accommodating as well! For some events the offer food and drinks as well which is a big plus! Always a great time when I can swing by.

With the pride and prestige of being at this site. The privilege of being there and enjoying different shows and other things. Sweet

Attended a wedding reception. Nice place to have a reception, lots of stairs so he careful if there are alot of seniors.

Nice historic building but when used as a wedding venue, it has a lot to be desired. Parking is very limited once able to find the facility. Multiple levels, with bathroom on first level. Very short time allowed to decorate, rehearsal needed to be done only during business hours - which made it difficult for many out of town attendees. The bridal party changing room seemed to be a maintenance area with a dirty concrete floor. Personnel - were not user friendly. Never once in the entire evening did any staff member ask how things were going. When they didnt fulfill their agreed duties - they were unwilling to make it right in any manner and would not accept responsibility. They do not seem to understand the importance of this event to a bride and groom and their family.

We had our wedding there just this last September. The building is gorgeous. Lots of staircases. There is an elevator but it is quite slow. Our wedding was gorgeous - not a lot of decorating was needed because of the building. The customer service for the wedding was not great at all. They made it seem like they would be so great to work with however, there were a lot of issues. I had to get upset for them to actually listen to what I wanted. Just because there is something that they always do doesnt mean that everyone wants it that way and they should be open to more ideas and not be so argumentative with it. When an issue came up (my last name being spelled wrong on a sign) all I got was a not nice response of Well I didnt make the sign. I actually had to say well can you fix it because I dont really want my last name spelled wrong at my wedding. The response she should have given would have been I am so sorry, I will fix that for you. That is all I wanted. There were issues with the bartenders and them cutting off on how late we could be drinking the beer even though we paid for it and to be at the building until 1:30 am. We were even out of there early. There were other issues and when brought to their attention, they tried to say we didnt communicate clearly enough to them, however, we had emails showing that we did. They also forgot to put one of our payments on the bill which was resolved but quite a shock when they are following you around with the bill at the end of the night and it is wrong. Maybe should have been double checked before they followed me, the bride, around. Issue was never really resolved with them. No real apologies were given. Just kept saying they are always trying to improve communication and customer service. My advice, if you are going to have a wedding there, be very detailed with what you want and just because they say that is what they always do, if it isnt what you want, get what you want. Get everything in writing. My advice for the Heyde Center, get one wedding coordinator. It will make everything easier if only one person is in communication with the people getting married, rather than three different people. It was really hard to give a 2 star because I love the building and I had a blast at my wedding because I didnt let the issues get to me and ruin my day, but the way things were handled at the end just pushed it down from the 3 star enough for me.

Old nistolgic place. Enjoyed my visit to watch my daughters dance recital.

One of the many Unique places in Chippewa that has history of music and art and theatre inside. Also artwork from local artists that are hung up to to be viewed.
