Beautiful park, not consistently though. Some vagrants, but they are mostly harmless. Dont bring dogs without a leash

Its a little quite park that my husband and I come to just to talk about how are day has been . Relax and just hangout. Nice to just take and relax.

My bf goes to play basketball here almost everytime we come to Chico. We love this place because most times we go pretty late and we never get messed with. They even have a light you can turn on for the court until a certain time. Theres even been times where we hung out at 2-3 in the morning. Im not sure whats different about the court but its my bfs favorite court in Chico. I usually just hangout and play on my phone but this time I walked/jogged the neighborhood. I enjoyed my time. Ive never actually been inside the building but Im sure inside is just as awesome!

Beautiful park. There were some homeless people but they were respectful and cleaned up after themselves. Kids loved the basketball hoops!

They have lights that allow you to play basketball at night which is nice but come with a group of people or youll risk being mugged.

Nice park with basketball courts and large open grass area. The courts arent usually too crowded.

Whoever was responsible for creating the DJC, and whoever is responsible for maintaining it, I want to thank you. So great to have such a venue in Chico. I go to the SoulShake a.k.a. DanceChurch freestyle dance there on Sunday mornings, 10:00am-12:00noon.
