This place is so worth checking out! It amazes me how many Chico locals have not been in. I enjoy the exhibits and appreciate what the museum offers our town. Take a peak and learn a bit of Chico history! Great location and easy parking as well. Affordable donations.

A very nice museum depicting 8 different aspects of Chico. Well worth your time as youll travel through Chicos history 1880- 2013.

Great displays, lots of detail and put together very well. All the staff and docents are very knowledgeable. A nice downtown location but parking can be difficult.

Nice little place. I have been to two or three exhibits there. My favorite was the Chinese exhibit.

Nice local museum worth a visit during a road trip.

They do different venues every few months. Have seen a few and they did a very good job. Last one was someones photos of the history of Chico, and it was wonderful. It is not a very large museum, but they managed to get lots os things displayed. Plan on spending a hour or two. The building is old and love the tiles inside.

Beautiful architecture, former Carnegie Library, lots of colorful Craftsman style tile. Worth it just to see that.
