Wide Variety of products and pretty good selection. A little pricy. Some of the same things they sell are half the price at Walmart, others you cant find anywhere else in town except for maybe hobby lobby so you kinda have to go there. At least i do. Thats my only qualm.

Liked the sale on canvases, paint supplies and other art projects. Keeping children creative!

I love designing crafts. I just wish they had a little more to the imagination in regards to the darker sides of things. People like skulls and gore, and not just on Halloween. Just a concept im throwing out there.

It has all kinds of crafting materials. Who wouldnt want that? I go there frequently for yarn. Im getting into crochet and knitting. I find it fun.

Fun store... they have a bunch of craft supplies and Holiday decor but everything is pretty expensive. Might find cheaper items somewhere else.

I really like the store but there never seems to be anyone available to help with anything but the prices arent bad and they have lots of.good stuff for kids and adults.

Loved shopping here and their sales, however son was applying for his first job and manager would not even take the time to talk to him. May have to change where I shop.

With everyone trying to stay busy and maintain social distancing while adhering to new standards during this pandemic, also people eager to quarantine and find creative ways to pass the time, one would think that the store would be better stocked and cleaner and maybe the employees could be a little kinder and possibly more helpful. I couldnt find anyone to help me locate an item. All the employees seemed to be huddled up near the front registers, lounging or lazily picking through some boxes. There was no hustle, and the staff didnt seem to be in any hurry to unpack whatever was on the boxes so I dont know why no one was on the floor. When o asked for the item in question, I was told by one of the employees that they were out, they then asked another to confirm this and the response was yeah, were out then they went back to their lounging, shuffling and sorting. No word on when item would be back in stock, no offers to find a comparable or replacement item. I wandered around the disorganized mess and found something comparable myself, except that it was missing the price tag..I was asked if I knew how much the item cost, and then asked where I found it and if there were anymore. I ended up leaving the item on the counter and walking out. I get that everyone is stressed at this time, but this was an absolute effort to be that unhelpful. I ended up purchasing the original item I wanted at Walmart.

The staff have always been really quick to offer help and give suggestions (including what coupons to look for and where/how to get them!) when Ive asked questions about various projects Ive had. Austin in the custom frame area is especially wonderful and helpful. They really go above and beyond whenever we go in. Id recommend this Michaels location to anyone

Same as years ago except fewer candle choices & not very upscale choices, either. Lots of nice other things for a variety of hobbies. I always can find something to add to or cheer up a room.

I went here looking for some very specific items. I couldnt get any help at all.The store was a huge mess. At one point I accidentally touched something kind of sticky & the whole store could use a good sweeping & cleaning..

I love this store! Michaels has everything you need for any kind of craft project. The store layout is well organized and easy to navigate, products are easy to find. I find that the staff at this store is of good assistance when you need help, however they don’t hover or creep when you are just browsing. You can always find good deals and coupons in the weekly ad. I recommend this store.

Very clean store and very well stocked on early days back open despite shortage of art supplies in COVID times.Paints, frames, pens, brushes, canvas, fabric, scrapbooking, holiday items, and beading are just some of their specialty supplies. Great place to get creative and find new avenues of output!

Michaels is a One-Stop shop for all things crafts. Im a photographer and have been purchasing my picture frames at Michaels for years. My daughter purchases all of her art supplies at Michaels as well. We find great deals on paints and canvases for her latest creations. Michaels is great! From rubber stamps to acrylic paints to fabric dyes and easels and everything in between. Michaels has it all. Plus everything is fairly priced. We visit Michael often and will continue to do so into the future.

Austin at the framing counter is super helpful. I had some very odd size and shape items to frame and she was great about coming up with solutions at reasonable cost. The end result look great.Only reason this isnt a 5 Star rating is that the main store has very narrow aisles that are really awkward to navigate.

No order. Everything was a mess. No employees and when I finally found 3 different emps they were completely clueless. They didnt have what I wanted, and what they did have was overpriced. Creating and using online is extremely difficult, and email goes on forever. Not a user-friendly website. Will avoid in the future.

I had a secret shopper stalk and follow me throughout the store. It was so scary. I used too love Micheals but I haven’t gone back since... I look completely normal I had a shopping cart and everything, why would that woman feel the need to stalk me so hard? She made it so obvious. I’ve had horrible customer service there in the past as well so I won’t be going there ever again.

Poor experience, poor staffing and very disorganized. Drove 2 hours away because this was the only store that Hs the paper I needed for a school project, I’ve waited 6 hours for my order to be ready. When calling the store, I was told it would be a few hours more as there is 3 orders ahead of mine.. that was two hours ago. On the phone again with the store and was told it would be a few hours more! The store closes in three hours..?! Worst experience yet.

Michaels is still best in town. Staff is nice and always willing to help. great classes too. Beats hobby lobby still.

Michaels always has an amazing selection of products to choose from. I could spend hours (and all my money) in this store. The associates are helpful when you find them. Sometimes they dont know what they have in stock but usually try to help find what Im looking for.

So much to choose from, at great prices! The employees are overly zealous and helping and make sure you get every possible discount you can, which is greatly appreciated! A store is always nice and clean, too.

I love Michaels the staff is always going to help you there always fantastic and theyre extremely knowledgeable their shelves are always organized always restocked and if they run out of something they can tell you when they get it in this is one of my favorite places in town is where I get all of my acrylic paints all of my specialty paint brushes all of my mediums all my campuses all of my yarn all of my circut supplies. I highly recommend this store and every last one of their staff is fantastic friendly knowledgeable helpful wonderful people

Had my items and awesome discounts..

There was a sale my wife didnt know about and that was a pleasant surprise. But she did hit a service button in the isles a few times to try to get help with a locked up item and after 15 minutes of waiting have up and just got what she already had.All in all its well stocked and has a lot of options but dont hold your breath on customer service, at least they take competitor coupons.

Very pricey. Fair selection of crafty things, but I find there are better options in town.

Being a yarn crafter, their in-store selection has really started to dwindle and the staff seem to get super annoyed when you ask them. Anything. The store is clean and well organized though. So if you know what you are looking for then its fine.

Prices are a little high, but there is always a sale or coupon with an amazing deal! Service is good at the register, but its always hard to find someone to help you out on the floor.

Wish they had some material and embroidery patterns. They do have a pretty good embroidery floss selection though. Employee was very helpful, getting me the outdoor spray paint I needed.

Things can be difficult to find. I was there during a great sale though so it was very busy. Sale prices were great but regular prices a little high. Worth it though for the beautiful, unique items that you can only find there in Chico.

The store is well stocked and has many sales items but the waiting in line to check out is almost intolerable. Surely there could be employees on the floor who could rush over to help clear the line of people waiting to checkout. I have gone there for years and its always been like that, so unless I have the time to spend in line I go to Joanns or skip it altogether and order online from some other place. I like to shop in town so I wish they would somehow change.

Great craft store more geared towards scrapbooking and art in my own opinion none the less a good all around selection! Only downfall is checkout times can sometimes take 20 to 30 min depending..

If they dont carry it they are quick to make a suggestion as to where you might find it. It is a veritable toy store for crafters and creative folks.

Michaels can be a little more on the pricey side of craft stores, but they almost ALWAYS have coupons and/or sales going on! I literally just purchased 17 canvas from them for $30 when it would typically have cost me $60. As an avid painter that is a pretty sweet deal! Plus at the end of holiday seasons, they do grab bags of what is left. These grab bags are usually $4 and filled to the brim with seasonal items. Its a great way to prepare for next year without paying full price! You wont always love every single thing in the bags, but I love the mystery of not knowing what is inside!

The crafters paradise! From picture frames to jewelry display they have lots of products to make your house a home. Their seasonal isles always have neat decorations. This location has fake floral arrangements and baskets, LED lights, Mason jars and vases, you name it. They have an amazing scrapbooking section too.

Wonderful crew at Errand Brothers for matting and framing my paintings.They worked in my time frame for my Nov. 2018 M.O.N.C.A. museum exhibit!Helpful staff, quality work and extra caring assistance. The gal who does trainings made it happen with Joy and compassion.

When they moved from the north valley plaza thier selection plummeted, and customer service was meh at best but mostly just treated everyone like they were stealing. Not now, was greeted by a nice new customer service clerk. She was Knowledgeable even though shes still learning, polite, and quick. She closed tonight in chico, wish id gotten her name. I only made it to 2 isles, and both had way better choices. I Love the new note/sketch books.
