I love this place and Pastor Daniel! Such a genuine heart for sharing the Gospel. Excited to see how God will continue to use this ministry to be a blessing to all who come in contact with them.

Ive spent a week here, and I came away thoroughly impressed with everything about it. Daniel and Justin are humble servants who love this community. The vision for a sustainable ministry that proclaims the gospel and seeks to partner with residents to meet needs in a way that manifests the inherent dignity of all humans is inspiring, and Im grateful to have seen it firsthand. Plus, their willingness to pass along so much wisdom to visiting teams each summer will have, I believe, effects across the country and for years to come.

Daniel and Justin have their fingers on the heartbeat of the community. Their goal is restoration through proclamation of the saving work of Jesus Christ. Their heart for people and families, especially those in the Englewood community is truly a representative of Jesus. We will continue to serve here as we have for the past 6 years.

I still can’t believe that it already has been almost three years since the last time I served & volunteered at UYFO (Englewood Family Outreach).Partnering with the organization, along with receiving mentorship and guidance given by Pastor Daniel and other volunteers, gave me opportunities to explore the Englewood community and interact with the people from the community in ways that Id never imagined I could.The organization is unique in a way that its not there to just help people in the community, but it is part of the community. It has built up this trust between the people and the organization, where the line that creates separation between the organization and the people-in-need no longer exists - they are just a one big family in the neighborhood trying to love one another and support one another in the name of Jesus Christ.From the opportunities that I was fortunate enough to have in the past, I learned so much about what it really means to actually help people, in ways that does not hurt them more (this is emphasized at the organization), and what it looks like to do urban ministries.If you are interested in exploring your calling in urban ministry or would like to serve specifically the Englewood community, I would highly recommend you to get in touch with Englewood Family Outreach and potentially partner-up with them :)
