The owner is really friendly and has built a really nice place. The room is spacious. Theres also a perfect size for a single occupant. We really enjoyed our stay here. For me, this is one of the nicest places Ive stayed. The self-checkout system they have is good as well, so you dont wake anyone up. I would recommend to anyone who needs an overnight close to the airport.

We stayed here at the end of our honeymoon and Chris, the front desk manager, and the Four Seasons’ staff could not have made it a more special experience. Chris upgraded us to an Executive King suite with an amazing view of the city. Chicago sunsets are absolutely amazing when viewed from the 37th floor. The bedding was soft and high quality and the bed was extremely comfortable. They are very generous with their amenities as well and the smell of white tea and rosemary and mint also pervaded the hotel as well as continued the theme in their body washes and lotions. We are so happy with our stay. I wish we had kids to bring to this property because their children’s amenities seemed really amazing.

This hotel is very very amazing! Very comfortable, clean, and luxury hotel. A bit expensive but its worth the money I pay. Excellent experience from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice pool and relaxing atmosphere around, with bar outlets serving food and beverages around spacious seating areas. Thank you!

I want to give this hotel 5 stars but the pool situation with the kids is out of control. I picked this hotel because of the pool and it was over ran with children. They have an adults only time but it’s from like 9pm to 10pm. If I’m in downtown Chicago that’s the last place I’ll be at 9pm. The room had an amazing view and the staff was very friendly. Valet parking is expensive so be prepared. The complimentary coffee, got chocolate was outstanding and it’s connected to a shopping plaza so that’s nice. Great location as well.

It was a very well run hotel and the staff looks like they enjoy working there. Every staff member we came across, had a smile and nothing was too much trouble, even the cleaners. We also ate breakfast in the restaurant each morning, the food and service were excellent. We could ask for more from this Hotel! We will definitely be back!

(Four) Seasons Greetings to us!!I actually googled, Best Kid-Friendly Hotel Chicago and this came up Number 1 out of the Top 5. I read reviews etc but had no idea to the level of amazing service they have until me, my daughter and husband experienced for ourselves.First off, I received a courtesy call to let me know that they were undergoing construction.  This was little but goes a long way so that you know what to expect. This did not get in the way of our stay, though. They perfectly had alternatives in place.I would like for FS Chicago to note and this was my ONLY concern; the elevators were a bit aggressive (doors were shutting on you too fast before you even have the chance to get in it!), with all this construction talk, I thought I would add.Anyways, the location is in the heart of Michigan Ave--plenty to do. Their valet service does not disappoint. Their front desk was friendly, very informative and professional. The hotels entire staff and their tremendous service was consistent. This hotel also has a swimming pool, huge fitness center and spa, room service+, great views from your room (cant go wrong with city or lake).@Parents, they treat your kids like royalty here!  They roll out the red carpet for your tiny humans. Your kids will never be bored. If you have little ones, Four has a playroom with toys, games, etc.. Dont worry about packing up much especially for swimming too--they have bite sized bathrobes and slippers even water vests and noodles.Speaking of packing light, I forgot to pack my cell phone charger and they literally have all types of cables available by your bedside table (Lifesavers)...Overall, I was very happy and will recommend this place all day. I cant complain about their rates--you will definitely see where your money is going towards.

It is an opulent, relaxing, elegant stay every time we come. The staff are attentive and always ready to come to help. Housekeeping will address any need you have. And there’s always little surprises here and there for you to find every visit, be it from the lobby, the restaurant, or more. We stay in the lake view suites and the view is amazing at any floor. The living area with the complimentary Nespresso, the comfortable and warm beds, the shower, everything is great and inviting. Plus, you are so close to many great places near Michigan Avenue, Rush Street, or Oak Street. If you love shopping, this is the place to stay (and that’s almost forgetting the hotel is atop a 6 story Bloomingdales). If I have one caveat (if I were able to rate by half stars, I would have given a 4.5), there are some parts of the structure that is showing its age. The elevators are a little shaky, there are some stains on carpeting in the rooms, and some of the cups I noticed are cracked. But honestly? Given the whole experience I am willing to overlook it and come back year over year. The cost is a lot, but if you can afford it I would recommend this immensely.

Loving our first stay at the Four Seasons Chicago. The staff is very nice and professional. We got an upgrade to a suite on the 35th floor with a stunning view of Chicago. The housekeeping is really good. They use Rishi tea and put it in the rooms and set up complimentary stations until mid morning. The spa is very nice. I used the jacuzzi and pool and steam and sauna several times. They have towels and robes and drinks and all the amenities. The breakfast at the hotel was soooo yummy. I had the egg white frittata every morning. The lobby is relaxing and great for work too and the art work is gorgeous!!!!! They made this a nice birthday for me.

Great location for all of the mag mile shopping. All of the staff were very nice. Room service was amazing and incredibly prompt and food was nice and hot and cooked the way you want. The suites are a great size and 2 bathrooms are always a plus traveling with multiple women. What a bonus that was. It was all of the little amenities that stood out the most. From the umbrellas when its raining out to the jewelry pouches that were left for my jewelry and the eye glass wipe cloths for your glasses. I appreciate detail very much and this place always recognizes and provides it in every way. Just dont forget to tip your bellhops. They work hard and arent paid near what theyre worth.

This was such a luxurious stay. I booked it after winning a big court case against my ex husband and needing a serious break from life. I got a great deal on a room, and I cant believe the service and amenities for that price. Everything smelled good, the beds felt like clouds in heaven, the pool was straight out of a Greek gods mansion. Im a tea afficionado and they had an incredible tea selection. Everyone was so helpful and nice and made it so relaxing and pleasurable. The only thing I didnt love was my massage. It was ok, but not great, I prefer the Peninsulas spa and spa services. But I would still stay again, just walk over to the Peninsulas spa for your day treatments. Thank you for a drool worthy, Taylor Swift I forgot that you existed, therapy weekend.

At breakfast the next morning we were even asked How the Luke Bryan concert was the previous night...That was impressive ! Breakfast is superb. Its all A La Carte but there is a price to pay. Upon arrival in vallet parking no one helped me with my bags so I unloaded my things onto a bell cart which I was then approached in a unfriendly manner saying I wasnt allowed to use them and to get help from someone (not him). I then advanced to the next person and was greeted with the same unfriendly and unhelpful note. I then found someone to help because I wasnt allowed to use the cart myself and said he would be up to the room at the same time as me which I stressed was important because I needed to change for an event. The check in process went fairly well but it took the bags 10 minutes to get to my room. When I first entered my room, literally the first thing I saw was a piece of trash on the ground. I was also told through a friend (not the hotel in advance) that the bar and restaurant was closed so I brought a drink and snack. The issue is that the fridge uses weight sensors and had no room for any of my items which caused me to need remove items which resulted in a $90 charge to my card. The charge is now in the process of being removed because nothing was actually used (items were put back) but it will take 3-5 days for this to happen. When I left the vallet driver came up to me to offer my keys and as I extended my hand he then pulled the keys back and extended an empty hand for a tip which was surprisingly awkward and drawn out by him. I then had to load everything myself besides 1 bag which he grabbed after I tipped him. The bags he knew were mine could have been loaded in advance because the vallet checkout also did not go smoothly because they were having issues finding my company account to charge it to. Overall I was not impressed by the customer service, room, process, and communication in comparison to an average hotel. When you account for this being the 4 Seasons my let down is only compounded.

The ice cream man (or person) was a hit with both kids. I’m not sure how often we can make it happen, but for a night to feel like VIPs in the Windy City it was totally worth it!
