This place is like a big memory of enormous emotions!! Made me feel like I walked into rainbow skating rink in 1996 all over again lol. It was great to see some old faces and put my skates on and roll around with these amazing people!!! The dj was playing some good old skool music and the skaters were definitely feeling it!! Its 10 dollars to get in and thats a great price. Im excited to go back in the coming weeks and get some practice in on these old knees!!!

So glad to know thus place is back open!!!! I really enjoyed skating here tonight and cant wait to come back next week. It was almost like a small rainbow reunion lol. I saw so many people I havent see in over 20 years!! The dj was jammin the old school songs and I have to say the skate crowd was loving every song. Took me back to 96 lol!!

They have done alot of updates, they take your temperature before entering and everyone is required to wear a mask. During the week it is less people and a really great social distance activity.

I always have a great time. the chicken was good even though I had to get it to go.

I just by to check it out since the pandemic has caused major changes in how socialize. To my amazement I was pleasantly surprised. Overall great improvements to the floor. New carpet and updated bathroom. The seating areas redecorated. Your temperature is taken upon entry to the building. Everyone has a mask and there is sanitizer throughout the building. They are doing a great job since becoming the new owners of the RINK. Praying for much success and longevity because it is a positive experience for all of us in the community.

What a great experience I had on this past Superbowl Sunday at The Rink! The atmosphere was super charged with an audience of mature people. The skate floor was clean as well as the rest of the place and the people were friendly. To my amazement, I was completely surprised by the hostility of free food & refreshments offered by The Rink, the amount of TVs set up for the game! Thank you to the management for a great time on a Superbowl Sunday night!

If your a skater of looking just to skate I definitely recommend the rink.

They have remodeled the floor and fix the lockers. Upgraded the bathrooms and repainted much needed areas

Sunday nights at the rink is an experience that will bring you back every week. All types of skaters and styles. Good work too. They also have a practice rink for beginner skaters. Also free pool tables.

GREAT!!! The owners actually come out of the office to meet you and music was awesome. Gospel/JBz on Mondays was really good and for just $5.00 its a no brainer, I get Jesus and James.

I Love this place. The Rink is wonderful atmosphere where you can let your hair down.

They were so unprofessional. They argued with the customer on a mistake that they maid. They were unorganized disrespectful, rude, and just uncertain. They didn’t have a the right time for the people to come in. They had people standing in the rain just to turn people around.

Its skating fun! Parking lot needs repaving but the skating experience was a night of family fun.

Great place to skate, play ping pong and just have a good time! My husband s and I went to celebrate my sisters birthday. She loves to skate and so do her friends. Not tok memtion...My hubbys a pretty sharp skater himself! The only thing about the rink is th e wall doesnt go all the way around. On the side where the rink meets the floor as you wait to get on or off, you just have to take a jump because there is no wall to hold onto.

Good vibes, brings back childhood memories but the door definitely needs to be redone. Didnt particularly like the DJ either. He talked entirely too much and didnt play enough classic skate music. Also he careful when parking, they have like 300 pot holes!

This place need to close or be renovated. It had leaks in the ceiling, trash cans catching the water, and the floors are horrible for skating. But the party I attended the DJ was good

Been here a long time & not much has changed. They could really use a makeover! People were friendly & skating their A** off! Music was on point! I will not buy any thing from the kitchen. I cannot stand nasty attitudes & that is what the individual in the kitchen area has! A very nasty attitude. I thought I was 10 again. I Only asked her if she had chang so I could feed the locker in this establishment & she said First, whats the magic word...I almost gave her a word! Then she went in on about how she aint & blab blab blah! Really lady! Fix Yo Life! I will have my Own quarters next time. Bu**$hi÷ to a minimum.

It was dirty and should have a bar didnt like being searched went out to car was horrible had to be searched again.

Its just plain fun friends getting together enjoying themselves. Dont go there expecting Glitz and glamour and all new Decked Out place its merely just a nice place to have exercise and enjoy your lifelong friends. Its a skaters thing if you not one, you wont understand.

The floor is horrible, it prevents me from going to a once beloved place, please repair the floor.

Great for 30years old and up on Tuesday mornings 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday evening 5pm to 9pm for the grown folks.

Id like to give the rink ZERO stars. The floor is horrific. Literally skating on hills and valleys and completely dirty. They wont be getting anymore of my money until they do some serious upgrades.

Very outdated roller rink. No effort from owner to make this a clean and nice place for children and families. But, I guess you have to consider the community. I personally believe families in that community deserve better.

I cant understand how the majority of the reviews say that this facility is deplorable and the floor (Ive seen pictures) is terrible, and you guys still support this place!! This is for all the die hard, JB skaters. Youve shown loyalty by supporting this mans facility for years. Where is HIS loyalty??? The least he can do is provide you guys with a new floor to skate on, its not like he doesnt have the money!!!

It is fun...unless you go alone. But only because you are sitting alone. I suggest you go with a friend because then it will be even more fun that it is if you go alone.

I hadn’t been to The Rink in at least 15 years and decided to go one night. I was very disappointed to see that the Rink had not been updated in all those years and is now in horrible conditions. The parking lot, filled with huge potholes, is still gravel and not paved like it should be. Then as I walk in and turn to the lockers, they are the very same ones and are simply deplorable. All the locks have just about been removed, I’m guessing from getting stuck or not locking. Had to call a worker twice just to lock/unlock ours. The carpet is tattered and thoroughly worn down and in need of renewing. Last but certainly not least OMG the Skating floor!!!! What in the world is happening?? I can’t even describe how horrible it has gotten and the fact that it’s still being allowed to be used is beyond me. It’s jagged and uneven all the way around. Forget doing any skate moves on this one end of the floor. You literally have to see it for yourself to see what I’m talking about. But oh I forgot, there was one update in that they added a mini steppers floor in the corner. Come on Rink. Your people, family and friends deserve to skate in a place that reflects a little dignity. I’ve always loved the Rink and have very fond memories as a youngster but the first thing my friend said when we came that day is, “we can’t come here every week.” That made me sad. Please do some remodeling, starting with the major key of skating.... the skate floor.

The rink is a great place to take kids. Very fun! Music is playing all the time and theres is affordable food available! Just wish that the ice cream machine wasnt always breaking down

One of the few roller rinks remaining. It is well supported by the old and new school skaters, however some regular maintenance would really make it to be The Premiere skating rink.

Pretty awesome place on the South-Side. Huge open rink to skate your problems away. Ive only been here as an outside service provider, but each time they have had pre-planned gatherings. To me it also has a disco vibe as you use the two x two skates of yore. The music is very Rappy for the youth and for those over, lets say 45, 60s - 70sish.

Although I like the nostalgia of the place, I think its time for a makeover. Cool workers too.
