Review №1

As a first time opera attendee and a student, none of the “opera etiquette” was explained. These rules were also harsh, probably crafted by the 80+ year olds that make up 90% of the audience. The staff was extremely rude and yelled at me for not understanding their rules. I was coughing and had to get water. They proceeded to kick me out and tell me that I could watch the show on a TV in the hallway. This is a complete waste of money. Many of the attendees are snobby and judge the non-regulars. The drinks are over priced. The bathrooms are small and dirty. You will arrive with excitement, and leave with sadness, stress, and a raging headache.
