I had been wanting to come here for a long, long time. It was so worth the wait. The tickets were reasonable for the amount of fun we had. The place is amazingly immersive. So beautiful. I suppose its a little bit like a kids world in downtown Chicago. The staff were incredibly polite, and the place was clean and accessible. We loved every minute.

An interactive museum dedicated to Flyboy, the continuing popularity of street art. The site is very crowded with the creative process which includes his work benches and the neighborhood. Its a challenge to find all the rooms and the various display items. Go if you have some whimsy

I went back in January and the visuals of this place is fantastic. I made sure to acknowledge every crevice of creativity within that space because it’s so well thought out. I loved it and planning my 2nd trip to see Flyboy & Lil Mama

Very friendly staff. Great setup in a fairly limited space, with lots of things to see. You can touch and pick up anything you see. Child friendly, although some installations can be quite noisy.

This place is really cool! The space may seem small but there is so much to explore, so much to interact with. This exhibit was created to make you think, come to conclusions or make up a whole new narrative.

I was excited to spend a friends birthday here. The pop up museum was not worth the money. There are museums all over the city that I would enjoy spending longer that the 15-20 minutes I was in here. Careful buying anything. They will not exchange even a gift when it is the wrong size.

When you enter this exhibition you will feel like you went back in time. The artwork reminded of how my brother loved playing with Star Wars action figures and it reminded me of my preschool that had all the toys that you liked. The train reminded me of the old days when public transportation was the only thing. I’ve only taken the train once in the city and it was definitely a deal breaker but the artist made it feel inviting and comfortable. Inside the train there’s a little surprise in the back that reminded me of the old lounging rooms. I also thought the music and artwork on the walls really tied everything together. The coal mines reminded me of when we went to the museum tour. The atmosphere felt futuristic yet like I was in a time capsule. I felt like I was inside of an adults memory exploring what mad them who they are today. I love the energy that was inside the art it felt free, cultured and timeless.

Serendipity in action! Went here on a friends recommendation during a recent trip to Chicago. Loved discovering every inch of the space. The details, the ideas, the music - it all came together. It starts as an art gallery and then goes rogue. The artist was new to me - now i see his work all over the city and understand he is Chicagoan of the year. What an interesting mix of people and everyone got into it all - hipsters, parents and young kids, teenagers and real grownups as well. No pictures from me - discover it on your own. And take a minute to sit in one of the lawn chairs and observe the passing scene. That was fun too. Everyone had a smile on their face.

Excellent way to spend an afternoon. All of the exhibits are a sight to see. Love the immersive aspect of the show. You can wear a Tuskeegee Airmen jacket or lounge in a tiki room with 1980s dolls hanging overhead. The mix of light and sound takes you to an otherworldly place that feels oddly familiar.

Amazing experience for all ages!!. Really take your time to go through every nook and cranny. One thing I love is how it doesn’t get to crowded and the merch is actually at a reasonable price. Great Job Hebru & the whole Flyboy Universe, this was well needed fro the city.

Not just the Home of Flyboy, but the Home of Lil Mama too! Absolutely amazing experience. So many fantastic pieces of Hebru Brantleys original artwork. Plus, the opportunity to explore life-size (and bigger) figures from Herbus glorious imagination. Definitely a must see. And, super kid friendly.

This definitely felt flat for me. Some beautiful and photo friendly set pieces but ultimately not as grounded in story or world building as I anticipated. I left feeling like Id have to wait for a later iteration to really engage with a world I was excited and curious about. Also for its price bracket and the abundance of free/affordable arts and culture museums in the city it just isnt the best use of your dollar. The whole experience takes about 30 minutes.

I would recommend getting here before its too late. This is a creative glimpse into the mind of Chicagos own, Hebru Brantley. The Flyboy Flygirl concepts are the highlight of his brand. However, the are some surprises that these pictures dont show. This popup museum is fully immersive. There is free street parking!

This art installation/experience was wonderful. The space was set up very efficiently and the whole experience lasted about 1 hour. I could’ve spent way more time in there, however. The whole thing is interactive, where you can touch, pick up, play with, wear, photograph everything in the space. The staff was wonderful, too! It was just a great experience overall!

The experience itself was great. I bought a sweatshirt as a gift for someone & these run VERY small. Upon driving back to simply swap it was I was told that all sales were final by the 3 employees that were working who could seem to care less. I was even looking to purchase a few more items but after the being told that all sales were final & basically being brushed off I wouldnt want to support this company again. This is the same place that runs the Wndr Museum. I will not be supporting their future pop ups & my art friends that were stoked about this exhibit have since changed their minds about supporting this awesome local artist. I doubt that Hebru Brantley would approve of treating his supporters in this manner. All I wanted was to swap out a sweatshirt that was purchased a day prior for the next size up. It was not dirty or worn/wrinkled. The employees should at least act as though they cared.

A truly immersive experience taking you into the universe of Flyboy. As someone less familiar with Hebru Brantleys work, it wouldve been nice to be given more background information about the exhibits and the artistic process that went into making Nevermore Park. I enjoyed walking through and experiencing everything on my own, but I always like being given some guidance regarding intent and purpose when viewing art. I was also a bit disappointed with the amount of content provided based on the ticket price, although what was available was clearly thought through and densely packed with meaning.

Underwhelmed and costly. Unique exhibit but Im sure the artist would be disappointed in how the staff treats the customers. A sweatshirt was purchased (over priced, imho) a size too small. After a call and a trip to the store, the store manager, Dani, would rather refuse an exchange of the item for a larger size along with my intention to purchase additional items. I was told I could pay the admissions price to visit the gift store in order to purchase items. I try to support small businesses, but after this experience, I am reminded of ease of exchange when buying online.

Really cool to see one of Chicago’s finest have his own exhibit in the city. I’ve been following his work for years and was excited to finally have a place dedicated to Hebru’s art. That being said the whole experience feels lacking for the price of admission. I totally understand that it takes a lot to keep the exhibit running but given how small the place is you can do the entire exhibit in 20 minutes. There is some stuff to interact with and look at but no context or “lore” literally just a text introduction at the begging of the exhibit.I was expecting to have some context on the inspiration of the characters and the world Hebru has been crafting for all these years.Overall if you’re a fan of Hebru’s work and of Chicago culture it’s a definite must. It’s just really hard to recommend people spend money on this if they don’t know about flyboy or Hebru because of the high admission price.

The art was beautifully created and brought together to life so nicely done, i just thought i overpaid for what the studio room had to offer i thought it wouldve been like maybe 2 to 3 floors of the building with the art but it was literally one giant studio with maybe 3-4 rooms to explore besides the huge center room with art, so if theres a lot of people it feels so cramped and frustrating, i went on a sunday afternoon and i got to be around some rude and arrogant entitled people i guess feeling frustrated from the lack of space and the crowd, but did not like the experience , maybe ill give it a try when its not too packed
