Ladies and gentlemen this has got to be one of the most entertaining evenings of my life. This spectacular event is awe inspiring, packed with comedy and feats of outstanding human endeavors. It is so good!!! The show starts just before dinner and goes on from amazing act to another. You will laugh, you will be amazed and you will have an memories for ever more. One of the best nights Ive had downtown in a long time! Everyone on the cast was multi talented. Even the wait staff danced and sang along and were part of the show. The show was as crazy as advertised and even more amazing. We sat in the outer ring and were happy there. If you want to have a few drinks during the show i recommend the outer ring. Its harder for the servers to reach people in the inner rings, but they definitely try! The premium seats in the middle are very much part of the show and i can see people being uncomfortable there. The food was really good considering how many people they were serving at the same time and the portions were generous. I couldnt finish all my pasta even though it was tasty. The drinks were delicious and fun. They werent cheap, but comparable to any fancy club downtown. Get there early so you can grab the best seats at your table. Dress up as fancy as you like, try not to be too casual especially if you are sitting in the center.

Truly a magical experience! You instantly forget that you’re in the middle of a tall building the minute you step off the elevators. Amazing performances with top notch food all in an amazing tent!

What an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I was gifted an evening of Teatro ZinZanni for Christmas, along with my step siblings. Id never heard of it, but that soon changed. It appears to be blowing up in popularity, and for good reason! It is a combination of burlesque, Cirque de Soleil, circus act, and dinner theatre. Im pretty sure my jaw was hanging open and my eyes were bugged out most of the night.The three hour Dinner and A Show FLEW BY, and before I knew it, I was checking their website for more tickets.I feel like it was written personally for me, (or you, if youre deranged and hilarious, off color, and edgy, but only in your own head), and from INSIDE my head, and maybe if I were a few years younger, Id be a part of the show.Big fun!!!(Photography isnt allowed during the show, but a couple of these were either shared with me, or taken before the show began. I would have recorded the entire show if I could have, it was that GOOD!)

This show relies FAR TOO MUCH on compelling audience members onto the stage, or otherwise working the crowd in a harassing manner. Also, the content is not appropriate for those under 18. There are beautiful moments in this production, but if you would rather see a show than BE the show, see Cirque Du Soleil instead (or at least take seating in the outer booths). This show does include dinner, which underwhelmed. A cast member worked a metal scalp massager over my head, then did the same with several other audience members by surprise, and the problems with this stem from both consent and hygiene. I am not planning to return.

Had a wonderful evening with friends. What a unique experience and special time. The show is worth every penny and cant wait to go again. I couldn’t recommend more and would give 100 stars if possible.

Went with a large group and it was a great experience from the moment we stepped off the street to sitting in our seats to dinner to the wait staff to the ever moving show- everything was fabulous!!! I cant even articulate how wonderful of a show this was, how wonderful this evening was- it was magnificent and the talent was amazing! Simply fantastic! Highly recommend! Dont blink, you dont want to miss a thing! Food & drinks were delicious, too!

An easy 5 star evening! Talented performances in a variety show featuring all sorts of talents and acrobatics. Hours of amazement and fund accompanied by delicious food! You literally become part of the action if you dare, and the show happens around you rather than in front of you.

An experience like no other. Be ready for 3 hours of good food, drinks and entertainment. The characters are skilled performers from around the world who surprise and awe their guests. The servers are attentive and friendly.Adult humor abounds and I do not recommend guests under 16 years of age attend.

My husband and I went to Teatro Zinzanni this past Saturday night. The show is in the Cambria Hotel next to the Nederlander in the theater district. Once shown up to the 14th floor, you enter the cocktail lounge area with a full bar and tables. The cocktail lounge is beautifully decorated with mirrors and crystal chandeliers. There’s an opportunity for a professional photo in the lounge. We opted in and got a great photo that we could digitally download or print for $20. The show is actually in a 100-year-old tent on the top floor of the Cambria. Once shown to your table inside the tent, your 1st course is waiting at the table which is hummus, olives & crackers. Take your photos when you enter the tent because once the band starts, photos are not allowed. We sat on the outer rim (3rd row) of the tent, which was perfect for viewing. The tent is small and I think the further back you sit you have the best vantage point of the show. The tables on the floor seemed tightly packed in, too. If you choose to sit on the floor, you might be picked by the cast to take part in the show. However, we were interacting with the actors as well as they come to every area of the tent. The show was absolutely fabulous, the cast was funny and talented. The show itself was worth the expensive price; however, the food fell short. The first course of hummus was good and we chose to have an additional appetizer of a cheese plate which was costly for the 3 small pieces of cheese. (There are menu items for purchase outside of the prefix dinner.). The next course was a tomato basil soup, which I couldn’t even eat. It was as thick as a marinara sauce and tasted just like I was eating pasta sauce out of a jar with a few gnocchi tossed in. I chose the chicken for my entrée and opted to have an extra serving of veggies and nix the potatoes, which they were happy to do. My chicken was very dry and was only 2-3oz. I wish I could’ve taken a picture to show the size. My husband didn’t enjoy his short rib entrée. Dessert was a cheesecake and was very good. The wait staff, including our server Griffin, were attentive and even took part in the show. All in all, I highly recommend going to the show, but don’t expect much as far as food. That was very disappointing as I was looking forward to a nice dinner in the city, but the experience of this very entertaining show made up for the mediocre food.

Teatro ZinZanni is engaging, interactive, funny, and surprising all wrapped up in a unique presentation we are not soon to forget. It is literally the best show weve ever seen. The drinks and the food are amazing, and the service is excellent. Definitely see this show before it moves on to the next city.

My cheeks hurt from laughing. What a great time! We all ordered the crab cakes followed by the short ribs. DELISH! The atmosphere and the hosts/hostesses, all wonderful. My husband loved it, too!

Youre going to have a good time whether you like it or not!This place is great from beginning to end. First off, youd never believe that this place exists on a random floor of a hotel. Once you get to the floor, you need to check your coat, unless you plan to wear it. Just check your coat, it is easy, fast, and its included. You should tip the staff when you return to get your coat. They more around the floor and anybody is game to getting called up on stage or engaging with the cast.Hint: If you want to engage with the cast or be called up. Be fun, but not obnoxious. Anyone that was screaming it his/her birthday didnt seem to get picked. Have fun with the show and they will find a way to make your night fun.This show includes magic, feats of strength, contortionist, and a draq queen that is freaking hilarious named Dollee. You might have different performers, but our table of 6 people enjoyed the show from beginning to end.Dinner: Usually with dinner and a show the dinner is , meh! Everyone in our party was pleasantly surprised by our meal. The food was yummy and the service was fun, friendly, and fast.Drinks: Drinks run around $15 piece here, so the bill can add up pretty quickly. The drinks tasted great and were unique concoctions, so they merited their $15 price tag.This is definitely something I would do again. Chicago, this is a must-see! The vintage Spiegeltent transports you to another time and place. The cast, the crew - unlike anything else you will see in the Windy City. My cheeks are still sore from laughing all night long. Whether it’s date-night or an evening out with friends, this is the perfect venue!

Beautiful Venue, Very Good Food and Top Quality Entertainment!The venue is amazing. Once you walk off the lift you are instantly transported out of Chicago and into an alternative universe. The show was very funny and hugely entertaining. It was just the right amount of saucy and non-PC. The food far exceeded expectations. Finally – it is worth going just to see the abs on the petite woman who hangs from the ceiling. Wow! We look forward to seeing the show again.

Bravo!!! Forget the expense and just go for an evening of incredible entertainment! Part cabaret, part Vaudeville, part circus (no animals), the individual performers were all gifted performers in their own right, and the directors stitched their performances into a unified whole. Food was great, too - that part was unexpected. More fun creativity than any other live theatrical or musical performance you will see anywhere in Chicago. We had a main floor table and it was worth being so close to the entrance of the performers but any level of ticket is great. Imagine being inside a 100 year old + European indoor circus pavilion, add food and adult beverages and top talent, and you are there. I just can’t say enough good things about it. This show (Love, Chaos and Dinner) will change to a new show on October 3, and I hope to back. Yes, it’s that good.

I went in thinking it would be just OK, but I had a terrific time at Teatro ZinZanni! The setting itself gets you prepped for something out of the ordinary, but the amazing talent is what really shines. The main host, “The Caesar”, is a terrific comedian with an incredible gift for improvisation. The other featured performer, “Rizo”, can really belt out a tune and toy with the audience. (Be careful if you’re a guy near the center stage; you might get smothered in her cleavage!) The line up of acrobats and comedians are amazing. And it’s all backed up by a talented house band. Almost everyone in the cast doubles as a waiter, which is entertaining in its own right. The food is probably the weak spot, but you really won’t care because there’s so much going on around you. The performers are all accessible after the show and they’re wonderful people who really seem to enjoy living in the crazy world of Teatro ZinZanni. I’m a borderline curmudgeon, but I’ll be thinking about the great time I had for a long time.

Phenomenal talent, but don’t sit on the front row! One of the character’s (Doilie, the drag queen) constantly sprays (spits) when he talks. Didn’t touch my drinks or food after he came by.

What a great way to spend NYE in Chicago. The show is amazing, the music is great and the performance is mind blowing. This is a quintecsential entertainment dining experience. The food was delicious.

I attended Love, Chaos, and Dinner and it was by far the most entertaining live show I have ever attended. The characters are larger and bolder than life, the food is worthy of all the stars that can be bestowed on it, and the venue sells the entire premise while being a gorgeous juxtaposition of bygone elegance and modern rugged functionality. I would go again and again. It was a three hour experience that felt like twenty minutes and I would have gladly stayed until the next day simply to not have to leave.

A great European style review. With torch singers and clowns and magicians. It reminds one of the Cabaret in the same titled movie.

We had such an incredible time celebrating our anniversary (24 years!) with this incredibly talented team. From the servers to the performances the whole experience was outstanding!Highly recommend the braised short ribs. Keep you eyes peeled because the show happens all around you (and sometimes with you!) There are so many little details.Cant wait to see again.

We attended this wonderful show last night with a group of friends. It may have been the best night out weve ever had! First of all, all the seats are great. Its an intimate and gorgeous space, and planned exceptionally well. The interior of the circus tent is beautiful; warm and inviting, but what really started the evening out right was getting off the elevator and seeing the crystal chandeliers, one after another, in the lobby, immediately giving a feel of opulence.The show itself was really fun, and what made it even better, was that the cast seemed to be having as much, or even more, fun than the audience. The cast are all top notch, award winning performers, and the blend of disparate skills works really well. The glue holding all of this together was the mc, who called himself Caesar, whose timing, quickness, and interaction with the audience was sharp, but not in the least bit mean. His audience interaction bits all worked - from finding his long lost love to a replacement Caesar were great. All of the other performers - from comic to acrobatic, were also sensational.Finally, the food was really great, and paced well. It was nice to have a four course meal served over a two and a half hour period of time. The waiters were integrated into the act, and the performers were integrated into the wait staff, and they were able to serve the entire filled house very quickly and seamlessly. And the food was simply wonderful.This was a really fun and very special night, and if you want a big night out contained in one lovely venue, this is the show you want to see!

Went for birthday, my wife and two kids 7/8. Amazing show my daughter couldn’t say enough about the show afterwards. They really went out of their way to make the kids laugh and feel comfortable. That said there is some Adult/sexual references/themes throughout the show. Most went over the kids heads a few they just laughed at, these moments are tongue in cheek and most kids under ten will not understand so I would t worry. However be aware and gauge your children level of understanding appropriately. Food was good, there are some other charges if u want appetizers or upgrades but in general not bad. This show was amazing and kept us laughing and interacting throughout. I rec. Sunday afternoon it is 3 hr show so kids with limited attn span could be a challenge, no cell phone use so u can’t just hand the kids that, be aware. Overall I would say 8 and up will enjoy greatly, I agree with upper tier seating unless u want to be a part of the show in a major way. We would def go back again!

The entertainment is wonderful. Intimate performance by true talent. I was talking to one of the cast members after the show. She told me that the show will change every 4 months. Ill be coming a couple times a year.The food? It wont win any awards but the food was better than you would get at a hotel banquet. Youre here for the entertainment, the food is an after thought.

What a fantastic evening. The elegance of the venue set the stage for one of the most entertaining evenings weve ever spent. The food was much better than I expected as was the service. The performers were some of the best Ive ever seen. We laughed and cheered at every one of the performers. I highly recommend this experience and wish Teatro ZinZanni a long run in Chicago.

Went to see the show with my boyfriend for a date night. Was so much fun :) The food was great and the cast was so talented and entertaining. I highly recommend this show. You will not regret it!

Such energetic talent! Everything was timed so well with amazing talent in theatrics, voice, music and trapeze. So fun, except the Catholic humor part was degrading and belittling. I hope that gets redone, and then I would definitely return with friends!

My wife and I had and amazing experience from the time we walked through the door ( we visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary) and a I can honestly say it was a GREAT time. What a night! So Much Fun!Its like a Circus, meets dinner, meets a Concert. The tent and setting were really cool as they have it set up as a Circus- but its a dinner theater. Sitting closer to the center is well worth the money! The food was really good and I just couldnt believe they could get all those meals out so quickly. Lady Rizo has an amazing voice and presence and reminded very much of a live Lady Gaga video. The other entertainers were really fun, funny or extremely talented. I would recommend to anyone who wants to do something special or different!

This Show was non stop entertainment! Better than anything I’ve seen in Vegas! I loved every minute of it! Funny, entertaining, and so much talent!

This show was a blast and I’m so glad that we ran across it while searching performances in Chicago this weekend. It’s inside the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel, which used to be used as a Masonic lodge. The circus tent in which the performance takes place is a 110 year old tent from Belgium complete with stained glass, mirrors and burgundy velvet. It had a little bit of everything - acrobats and stunts, lots of comedy, live musical instruments, audience interaction, a drag queen host, singing and magic. It’s 3 hours long and great fun! And everyone plays multiple roles and all seem like delightful people, not theater divas. I did not expect the food to be good but the entree was delicious (we chose the short ribs). I sincerely could not recommend this show enough - I wish it wasn’t leaving in March, it would be a great staple for things to do in Chicago!

I saw the show on 10/24/2019....I seriously can not say enough about the talented cast! Everything about the experience was truly awesome. From the moment you get off the elevator the theater is mesmerizing. The show was so entertaining & each character was so incredibly talented & brought something special to the production. I loved how after the show the characters mingled in the lobby to chat & for photo ops...they were all so friendly & approachable! I purchased & CD from Rizo who I simply adored....and Voronin was just fantastic also...I still need to buy you a drink! Until next time...

The food was excellent and the service was great! Which is all the more remarkable because they are serving while the show is going on all around them. 11/16/2019 - My wife and I attended the show along with her cousin and her hubby to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and her cousins birthday. We honestly had no idea of what to expect from the show but we were told it was definitely an experience we all didnt want to miss. The description we were told was it was like a combination of having dinner all while watching a cabaret and Cirque Du Soleil perform in front of us. Well we were told correct and were all glad we came out. From the friendly and outgoing wait staff to the performers to the delicious food! I honestly cant put into the words the amount of fun we had and far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely reccomend others to take time out and come see what we saw. We had a wonderful evening and enjoyed ourselves on our wedding anniversary!!

MUST SEE! What an incredible performance by the entire cast. Lady Rizzo is amazing! Top to bottom this show is a wild ride. Enter the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel to see the hundred year old big top tent set up. All the greeters and staff are part of the performance so the energy is live from the start. The food was delicious, I had the pot roast and it was so tender and flavorful. They serve champagne, wine, cocktails and one incredible night out. Go see it!

From New York Broadway to the Las Vegas trip. We enjoy traveling and going to shows a lot. So it is a very big statement from us. All five of us had a different entrée from the menu each dish was good. ( roasted chicken I thought it was the best. ) Cesar and Rizo made the show! I can’t give this enough stars it really exceeded all of our expectations. We will be returning in October when the show changes. Get there fast! Really worth every penny.

Thank you for giving me the most enjoyable experience I have ever had in the theater. I have not felt energy like that since seeing O, which was my very first Cirque de Soleil show, ever.Wow. Completely blown away. We go to a lot of shows, and not just here. NYC, London, Vegas, Rome, LA, etc etc. And I find something to love about all shows, even the bad ones. I always find something to appreciate with the product, and just the sheer talent.The venue itself is enough to make you fall in love with the show, before it even starts. It instantly transports you to a world that is one part Wonderland, one part Big Top, one swanky vegas nightclub circa 1943. Frank Ferrante will have you shouting, Hail, Ceasar!, as he as unveils copious amounts of talent from a loveable and dynamic group of characters. I promise you will be blown away. Ceasar is the most charismatic and energetic showman I have ever seen, such as:Lady freaking Rizo, omg, I just cant even. Her talent is mind boggling. I would have paid a much high ticket price for this type of talent. The sound of her voice instantly reminds me of Adelle and Lady Gaga, but mid show I hear distinct notes of Joss Stone (who I hadnt thought of in a decade) and Alicia Keys. Is she a real human being with this voice, or some kind of human unicorn? Wow, just WOW.The best part of this show though, is the infectious good energy. After the show is was a sea of smiling faces. There were no frowny faced husbands that were grumpy about being drug to just another show, no irritated patrons that thought ticket prices were too high. In fact, my 15 year old twin (boys), who do not share my devoted appreciation of the theater were smiling ear to ear and thanked me for taking them. This really IS a magical land.Go to this show, dress to impress, because you will have much more fun, even for a matinee show, dont be afraid to bust out some sequins. And yes, the meal is actually great. The drinks are amazing and not sugary garbage. And get the best seats available, you will quite literally be in the show. You cant help but to enjoy this, it is a true experience.
