Highly recommend Coach Jeff for private batting lessons. My son was having issues with his stance and hitting. Coach Jeff worked with my son a few times and we have seen great progress! Thank you!

Awesome classes for my grandsons so much better than toys. He goes once a week and has a blast and is learning skills at the same time. Coach Noah and Coach Matt have a magical way of dealing with the children they are having so much fun.

Our son has done both classes and, most recently, the summer camp. He completely loved all of them and with the camp, he couldn’t wait to go back each day. His coaches were great and he couldn’t stop talking about his day the rest of the day after he was picked up.Also, I can’t speak highly enough about the safety precautions the staff took with both the kids, themselves, and parents/guardians during the camp while we are in this pandemic. Between checking temperatures, sanitizing equipment, wearing masks the whole time, etc... we felt completely reassured about our son’s health and safety the whole week.

These guys are terrific. They are patient and encouraging with the kids, and give them the right amount of push to motivate the kids to be better. Really nice staff, coaches and mgmt. it’s structured well. Definitely worth it!

Lil Sluggers is a great baseball program for all kids. The coaches are high energy, positive, and silly, yet still relay all the critical skills in baseball. The classes are set up as multiple drills disguised as games. Kids work the drills in groups of 3 to 6, and rotate through several drills. Many sluggers kids come back for multiple classes.

Our daughter had a wonderful birthday party here. The coaches and staff were amazing and helpful. The play program was just right for the kids, and fun was had by all.

Its a great kids baseball program overall, I would give it a 5 if the new/young coaches would be able to correct the little ones as needed with the proper techniques. I speak from the coach-pitch classes. But, I would recommend it regardless.

I registered two four-year olds for summer 2017 indoor baseball camp -- one week in July and one week in August. Im giving two stars b/c the facility was large/nice and the counselors were friendly. However, those are the only positive things I can say. The first day we arrived, we were about 10 minutes late. We checked in at the front desk and the coach showed us to the back of the facility, introduced us to a counselor and I left my kids with him. As I was walking out, I was watching what looked like baseball camp in the front of the facility. I asked the coach if hed taken us to the baseball camp or a different camp. After a lot of checking of paperwork, it turned out my kids were taken to a general sports camp run by the same Lil Sluggers company, but the wrong camp. It happened that the group was going to the bathroom at that moment, so, I took my kids to the baseball camp where they were supposed to be. Nobody from the general sports camp even noticed that I took two kids away! After watching my kids in baseball camp for 30 minutes, I walked to the general sports camp to let the counselor know wed been in the wrong group. When he saw me, he panicked. He said, Im not sure where your kids are! I explained Id taken them to baseball camp, etc., but YIKES! that was not a good experience in terms of security/safety. The baseball camp is inappropriate for young kids -- there was ONE other 4-5 year old child in the 4-5 year old camp, in addition to my two kids. All the other kids were 7-10 years old and experienced baseball players. Not only were the activities/games too advanced for the 4 and 5 year olds, it was dangerous. Balls were whizzing by my kids heads. When I expressed my concern, Coach Jeff laughed and showed me his missing teeth that hed lost as a teenager playing baseball. It was not a reassuring moment. The counselors were nice, but were not trained to work with very young children -- they didnt encourage them to wash their hands before eating snack and they did some frightening (supposedly funny) turn-eyelids-inside-out tricks that my son STILL talks about when he is scared of the dark or something else. My daughter was the only girl in the group and I dont know why they allowed her to sign up b/c they were completely unprepared to have a girl in the group. There was no soap and no paper towels in the girls bathroom until I asked for them. There was a shocking lack of security and oversight and, one day, my kids wandered into the parking lot by themselves -- something other families have reported on other review sites. So, I decided to cancel our second week of registration. At that time, Lil Sluggers had a refund policy -- if a customer cancelled w/two weeks notice, a refund would be given. (They have since changed their policy to offer only credits.) Getting our legally owed refund was like pulling teeth -- one excuse after another, until I put in a claim w/my credit card and had the money refunded to me that way. Coach Jeff seems nice at first blush, but he is not straightforward, he doesnt follow through, and a less generous person might call him dishonest. (Which, again, other families have said on other review sites.) Before the refund experience, I assumed my kids would return to camp when they were older -- especially my son if he remains highly interested in baseball, as he is now. My thought was, if they were 10 or older and able to look out for their own safety (not wander into the parking lot, make sure there was soap in the bathroom, etc.), it might be a good place to learn about baseball. But after all the lies and delays from Coach Jeff, I would never again trust him -- even if my kids were old enough to fend for themselves. There is something profoundly disconcerting and disappointing about the way Coach Jeff runs his business. He has lost my trust.
