Very interesting, photos are quite nice. Some unique composite images here. Definitely make it a point to stop in.

They are all about a sale. There is no appreciation for art. I do think many images are beautiful, but buyer be ware. I did purchase images in the past. I get a receipt that has absolutely no standing. My receipt stated that I would have a future image credit, but that is absolutely not true. The sales person tells you it wont expire. Then you try to reach them and find out they are no longer with the company. I then get an email from another salesperson stating that the image credit does expire. The company is only as good as its word and its word sucks. Dont get burned like I did. I would never spend another dime with this company. If I can help any other person from being duped by this company great. Buyer beware!!!!!

Ive been visiting this gallery every week for over a year. Today, I bought the piece I fell in love with on day one. The staff are beyond great and they will spend time to help you find the right piece. I would recommend Peter Lik to any art enthusiast, collector, or anyone that passes by.Visit this gallery.

Peter Lik is a commercial photographer, not a true artist. Props to him for figuring out how to turn photography into a profit industry, but expect that the gallery will operate much in the same way that a car dealership does. When you walk into the gallery, many of the works are on display; many are truly beautiful. If you dont see something you like, one of the art consultants (aka: salesmen) can give you an iPad to view other options. If it is not already out on display, they will, with much pomp and circumstance, bring out a copy for you to view. The art consultants know basically nothing about art; dont be fooled. They are truly commission-based salesmen and the experience is very similar to someone trying to sell you a time share. If you are looking around the gallery, a salesperson will approach you to assess whether they can sell you something, and if you appear interested, they will try to push you into spending a lot of money. They invoke every cliche, including appealing to the value of the work as an investment, push you to decide NOW because the price will invariable go up in the next nanosecond, and will try to sell you the Porsche when you started off asking about the Subaru. Pieces seem to start at around $4000 and go up as the limited quantity availability goes down, which incidentally is a completely artificial construct. There are PR articles posted around the gallery to make your purchase seem like a good investment, if youre buying art as an investment. Do your homework; private sales are not an indicator of value (I can sell a painting to my brother for $1M; its technically a sale, but not a fair representation of market value) and when the salesman tells you that a piece that started at $4000 is now selling for $8000, thats only because they have set the price. (Its kind of like when people were selling post season Cubs tickets for $10,000. Yes, you can charge that much for it, but it has no value if no one buys it.) Incidentally, do your homework: there is no secondary market for a Peter Lik photo. That having be said, the gallery is nice, and the photos are pleasant to look at. I would prefer if I could visit without some used car salesman trying to sell me a lemon.

If youre a fan of photography, this is a must stop. While photos are obviously subjective, I can honestly say that these are the most impressive I have ever seen. Between the actual photo and the printing process, they are almost other worldly in their appearance.
