Fantastic space for performance art. The gallery management really enjoy the work they bring and have a deep connection to the work being shared. This space is very consistent; if you like one performance here youll probably like more of them.

The shows are unique and fun, and very deep. I had a blast and enjoyed the opportunity to openly discuss the cultural and societal impact of the issues that are central to the pieces.

Great place for performance art. Usually events are happening throughout the week and on the weekends. Recently they have developed a performance art scholarship for individuals who are interested in local performance art. Check out the annual performance art festival RapidPulse. Local curators and artists Giana Gambino and Joseph Ravens, including a team of local organizers develop an international performance art festival. Check out the website.

DFB is one of Chicagos most vibrant cultural institutions. Come here to see the most interesting stuff happening in the performance art world, and to meet Joseph, who you will love.
