The experience was not good. The movie continued to stop at the mid way point. My family and I never got to see the end of the movie. There were apologies but no offer to go into another theater to see the movie - after the movie stopped 3 times. There were no offers of refreshments or very little compensation.I do not know when my family or I will visit Marcus Theaters in Chicago Heights IL in the future - but it will not be any time soon.

Great place to check out a movie with a love one and or a group of friends. Nice vibe with the bar and grill. Only thing is that I wish they would change those nachos chips. They taste cheap and too hard.

I went with my sister and mother. Unfortunately we had to use the rest room. See the pictures it was nasty. Told the manager. The experience was awful. Worst than a portapotty.

Alright. This is not your everyday movie spot. If you want to flex and bring it. Plan to at least spend $50 for two. Oh, this is very comfortable relaxed seats. Wont have to worry about pest bed bugs or rats. This place is top tier. Intensely nice place.

Very nice people. Friendly customer service. That always ranks highest no matter what. However I dont think there should be assigned seating. Leave that to the overpriced AMC theaters, that passed the cost of construction upgrades on to the customers. Concession stand needs a faster pace. I know the cashiers move as fast as they can but need more staff on peak times. Other than that, the prices are much less than Ive become accustomed to in a long time. I will come back if Im ever back in town.

Ok - so first let me say- i have been here many times and have only had a couple of questionable experiences with staff. For the most part it is an easy and pleasant experience. The movie rooms are generally clean and seats are comfortable.It is no fault of this locations own that their projectors aren’t up par with the quality of an AMC theater- Many times I prefer Marcus due to their comfortable seats so just know either you want a better picture quality with moreVibrant colors or you want a more comfortable viewing experience and make your decision that way.

Ultra Theater is wonderful, but the over all feel is dirty. Please, please have staff clean after every movie. Please restock and clean the bathrooms. Then, I can give a 5 star rating.

Customer service was horrible, no one is at the ticket desk, theyre just standing around talking and eating. The the popcorn was burnt. Only thing I enjoyed was the chairs.

The prices are high. But its good for movies sometimes. They need to lower the prices for movie tickets. Its outrageous that you have to spend 12.00 dollars after noon. But its the movies you pay for what you wanna watch.

I love coming to this movie theater, especially on $5 Tuesday. Seat are comfortable and spacious. The reason I did not give five stars is because if you know Tuesday evenings are your busiest time besides the weekend, you should have more people working. It took almost 25 minutes get our popcorn. I think Ill stick to the matinee shows.

Wahdeen is truly an angel. I came into this theater frustrated she took care of me and my children without any feedback. I drove all the way from Dupage county to make my son dream come true by reuniting with his cousins. I had a very very pleasant experience at this location the staff is Amazing. From the front cashier to the girls in the restaurant i would highly recommend this location.

I go on the days with special deal. Most of the theatre rooms are good with big comfy recliners, but others are smaller and need updating.

Nice seats and very clean

The seats are great. It is everything before you sit down that is chaotic and uncomfortable. A woman was cursing very loudly in line. The concession stand took very long and wasnt very organized. Wouldnt recommend this location. This was my first time here to see Frozen 2 and I would not return. The theatre also had popcorn all over the floor in some parts and the movie hadnt started.

This theater is very far out of my way, but I prefer to go here than to other theaters that are much closer. Tickets are more reasonable and the recliner chairs are comfortable and spacious. I also like that it serves a wider range of food, including beer. The building is very clean with friendly employees. Never had a bad experience.

Tonight was my family 1st time at Marcus Chicago Heights Theater, and OMG we really enjoyed ourselves. And the Red Leather Recliners were ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! The 30 minute drive was worth the great experience for the 4 of us. Next time Ill be bring my entire family with me. So I give this Theater 5 stars.

Ever since they went through that remodel, Ive enjoyed each visit here more and more. Everything has been upgraded and for the better! Theyve got huge touch screens for you to order you tickets on but you can still go stand in line and have human interaction if you choose. The concession stand has grown with even more options and theres a grill for burgers and pizza. Just wish they could get the line to move faster, they still need to work on that.For some reason, this place feels bigger just because theres more to enjoy.And ohhh the seats! Comfy, huge, and recline back far enough that you can put your feet up. This was probably the best investment they made when revamping this theater. Youll feel comfortable whether youre all the way in the back or seated right in the front row.I also like the cute little commercial with a message from the owner that airs right before the show. Its a great personal touch thats just corny enough to make you smile. Ive got to hand it to them, it seems like every feature of this upgrade was well thought out and has changed this theater to a great go-to for entertainment

Terrible theater! I purchased tickets for an 11:15pm show. When I arrived at 11:20pm, the doors were locked. The manager, Sharon, could be seen holding a conversation with a vendor and did not attempt to open the doors until she was done with her conversation. I stood outside in the cold for 10 minutes! When she finally opened the door, she was rude and unapologetic. Avoid this theater, it is not worth the hassle.

Off street location so you have to pay attention while driving, but plenty of parking. there are dozens of theaters at this location. i went in morning so, cant really judge crowding or cleanup.

A comfortable , fully staffed, and peaceful environment with adjustable seating, a variety of movie choices, and lots of parking. They also offer an ample variety of non-healthy snacking and drinking choices; a must have on a trip to the movies!

It was a good movie but the theater wasnt thurly clean and speakers were a little to loud.

This is a very nice theater. The seats are spacious and comfortable. They do a good job keeping the place clean. Their food bar moves fairly slow so dont think youre going to get a snack if youre late to your movie. Other than that, very good

Going to the movies to Marcus theather is like going to the movies in to a time of nostagia and modern times.The ones that work there very good people and good service.

I went to see Frozen II with my family, and I had to ask the manager to turn the volume down three times because it was so loud it was hurting my ears. We were the only three people in the theater, so it should have been an easy calculation to accommodate our request. Though the manager claimed to be turning the volume down, I could not discern any difference after each attempt to have her do so. The third time she told me that the volume is normally set at 6.0, and she had already lowered it to 5.4, and that she could only then go down to 5.3. Clearly that was not enough, because I suffered through the rest of the movie in discomfort, and had to plug my ears with my fingers at the climax of every musical number, and cover my ears with my scarf for the rest of it. Sustained volumes above 85 decibels causes permanent hearing loss for EVERYBODY, and I fear that this theater is consistently damaging peoples hearing. Overall, very disappointing.

Good theater. Of course not as new and shiny as Country Club or Orland but C. Heights was renovated long before the other 2 so I get it. No complaints though. We tend to take advantage of not-so-busy Sunday mornings due to work and school schedules but even weekends arent so bad. Any theater will be really busy during peak so this one is no different. We enjoy it.

Amazing experience! Im so happy I found this place on Google today, it definitely brought back memories that I m happy to share with my children. Highly Recommending this Drive-In to family and friends.

This one I enjoyed the most. This place is kept up nicely and has a great vibe to it. Great screen, sound and seats. Only thing I wish they had better food. Obviously you dont come to eat, but the food for the movies could be a bit more up to par. Other than that I cant complain.

Nice & clean in theatre we were in tonight & every time we go I have to say. No sticky floors or seats. But,...the restrooms could stand some attention. Security though, was on point! Yet friendly & helpful. Ive enjoyed coming to this theatre for 2yrs now. My family & I, consider it a nice theatre overall. Rarely crowded even on new release movies.( At least most of the times weve come) And when it is more crowded like on $5 Tuesdays. Its orderly for the most part. Security doesnt allow riff-raff to enter & if so... I imagine they would be escorted out with the quickness!

I have visited 3 of the Marcus Cinema locations in the south Chicagoland area and they are all very nice. Very well maintained. Prices are great as is the food. Staff are nice and professional. Parking is good. I dont have anything negative to say. Will continue to patronize and enjoy the movies!

Best place to take the family. The Seats are really comfortable. You could lounge back eat some delicious food and enjoy a great movie with your love ones. No need to worry about finding a seat. You could pick your seats in Advance. They even have specials on Tuesdays all tickets are $5 with free popcorn for the VIP member. I recommend this place to everyone.

Normally I would say this theater is acceptable. They are not particularly rude and the theaters are standard. However, on May 16 the water was out at this location so there were no soda fountains, icees, working bathrooms nor sinks, yet the establishment was serving food. This was unacceptable. They should have shut down all good made at the establishment, hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and nachos. Yet there they were, serving without a sink to wash their hands. This is unacceptable. In addition, the kiosks are always malfunctioning. Boo!

My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday by watching Avengers: End game..... It was very busy, only two staff in front to handle ticketing...... but they were very professional with exceptional customer service! We got settled in the theater and it was very chilly! I went to the ticketing counter and the manager immediately addressed the issue, making the last 2 hours if the movie enjoyable! This was my very first time here and Im sure there will be many more visits to come!

I hate to be overly critical because Im an extremely motivated/positive person. Everything about this movie theater is great with one exception.The one problem on today and other occasions is the excessive temperature that the heat is turned up to. Its ridiculous. The theaters where movies are being seen should be room temperature in the winter/fall.This is the first theater in life Ive had to strip down to my t-shirt and still it was stifling hot. Myself and other customers have made staff aware to no avail. Customers come first if staff are cold they must wear layers if this is the reason behind it. Dont inconvenience paying customers for staff.Im going to stop attending here if I have to strip to my t-shirt again. The aforementioned should be corrected. This is an easy fix.

Theatre was great! Popcorn fresh and tasty, theatre was just the right temperature and volume! Reclining seats were very comfortable and the place was clean!

The staff behind the counter did not have name badges on. The cash register at the first line only accepted credit cards. The second line for refreshments did not give receipts. The third register had to be used if you wanted a receipt. The free popcorn for members would be totaled and you had to wait for the staff to get the correct total at concession stand.

5$ Tuesday!!!! One of my favorite theaters the seats are so comfortable. On Tuesday they have great deals on the drinks and food.

This is a very nice theater. I especially enjoyed the reclining seats that are like loveseats. They are perfect for a couples night out at the movies.

This particular time we went, the movie theatre was filthy. Trash every where, it was hard finding a couple seats that didnt have trash on it. Then they start cleaning while the movie is playing. Very diappionting.

I give this theater stars for finally renovating and adding things such as more food choices and beverages to their menu. However the staff is still unprofessional or no where to be found because they are goofing off somewhere. They pretty much just put a new cover over the same theater its always been. Also dont order the chicken tenders and fries. Both my husband and I got very ill from them. We were up all night and even had to miss work. Our friends who did not order them did not get sick and we didnt eat anything else so we know thats where it came from. Even had to miss a day of work cause of it. Dont expect much of a change just because the theater has a new look.

I come to this establishment establishment on a regular. I must say, the people that run this cinema are very compent and do a prestiege job. On $5 Tuesday (the discounted special day), they ensure to provide a service that all customers will appreciate. Of course, simple issues arrise that could be exosed, but overall they do a proper job completing their goals. I spoke with the manager Bianca, and her professionalism and courtesy kept me at ease. The cleanliness of this location is DISGUSTING and needs to be address immediately! It smells HORRIBLE in the theater the seats are no different. Trash was EVERYWHERE, the floors were filthy. Please Please do better. I now will have to travel outside of my area to enjoy a positive movie going experience. Completely disappointed Chicago Heights theater. The movie was great nevertheless.

Marcus Theatre is one of the best bargains around. The $5 Tuesdays with free popcorn for magic rewards members is as good as it gets. There are other good values each day with $6.00 first matinees and $6.00 all matinees on Friday which I believe is only for seniors. Comfortable seating, choose your own seat.

Mice. Everywhere. Ive seen them on multiple occasions. Took pictures, reported them to the village; the inspector contacted me and let me know that the theater treats the space as required, yet they found activity during the inspection. This used to be my favorite theater company, but I cannot go back.

Noticed the lobby wasnt a hangout for young adults as it was in the past. It was much more family friendly. The counter help left something to be desired though. They were more interested in chatting with each other than handling orders correctly or quickly.

I frequent this theatre because its in my neighborhood. I was disappointed with my last visit. The theatre is not cleaned between movie showings and doesnt appear to be cleaned after hours either. The floors contained debris, the cup holders were dirty and the ladies bathroom was filthy. Ive seen the teen crew cleaning the theatre after the movie, while the credits are rolling and the lights are out. You cannot clean in the dark. I wish management would attend this theatre at night and address this issue.

Great place to watch a great movie!

The facilities were mostly clean, the seats are comfortable, the movie/sound played well. I was in the theater with people who brought a chatty baby, talked through the movie, and constantly checking phones. It was so distracting I wish I had talked to the manager to see if I could come back during a matinee, when it would be less inconsiderate people. I frequent this cinema and will certainly be back. The staff is always nice and helpful, even during the crazy Tuesday deal days.

Great remodel of a place I have been going to for over 30 years. Comfortable chairs with generous aisle space. Management needs to keep a constant presence for keeping the bathrooms cleaner.

I love the prices, and the seats. Always have a good time going to the movies here.

Comfortable seating with reclining chairs, nice theaters, good menu options for in theater snacking and the prices are not to high. Catch a $5 Tuesday matinee and get a snack/drink combo for less than $10.

Saw the new Venom movie yesterday for their $5 Tuesday and it was amazing. However, the Spanish subtitles were cut off at the bottom of screen. I could only imagine if anyone needing to read what was going on they wouldnt be able too. Other than that it was a great movie at a very nice theater.
