Glad to see it back open. Slowly the word is coming back alive. Missed movies on the big screen the way they were intended to be seen. The reclining, heated seats dont hurt...

This is my go-to theater, as evidenced by the fact that I chose to view Tenet on the Ultrascreen here instead of the AMC Chesterfield IMAX, which had been my go-to theater for years.The sound system at the AMC IMAX is superior, but they still use the traditional seats instead of the comfy recliners that Marcus has. Furthermore, when social distancing, Marcus does a much better job as the seats are already much farther apart. At AMC IMAX, they leave just one empty seat between parties, which is less than six feet.The standard theaters here are okay, but I’m pretty picky about getting the maximum quality so I always go for the Ultrascreen or, at a minimum, one of the Superscreens.Concessions are typical. No Coke Freestyle machine here unfortunately, unlike AMC. They have Pepsi products.One thing worth noting is that this theater used to be the Wehrenberg Chesterfield Galaxy 14, and the Ultrascreen used to be known as the Mega Screen.

Always a great movie theater, and Marcus has done a fantastic job since taking over. Theyre back open and taking all the proper precautions. I felt fully safe and enjoyed the film.

The facility is well maintained, emphasizes social distancing and the staff were extremely helpful in directing and answering any questions.

We had so much fun tonight and those recliners are perfection! Thank you for tolerating my 3 year old. We had a blast and the movie was wonderful! Even the people at the concession stands were super friendly.

I have always liked this theater. They even have decent food. Now I have another reason for 5 stars. My wife messed up and actually bought tickets for another nearby theater (not a Marcus) and this was not caught on the way in. We already ordered food and drinks when we figured this out. The staff and management were awesome and took care of everything for us! I will definitely be back even though there is a closer one to my house.

Comfortable cinema better movie options. The seats were comfortable and can recline as well. There are plenty of drinking options and the concession booth had variety of food options alongside traditional popcorns and nachos with cheese. Recommended for all the movie enthusiasts..

I absolutely love this theaters 5 star lounge. Its probably my favorite place to see a movie with my wife in St Louis. The service is always really good. The food is wonderful and you never feel crowded by strangers. The seats are better than my couch.

Has stadium seating. It has reserved seating which is good and bad. The price has increased after they moved to reserved seating bit the seats are very nice recliners. They have real food and drinks as well as popcorn candy. They have a very large screen in their mega screen which is awesome. But go when they have better prices if you can. Day time and/or Tuesdays I believe are cheaper.

Wow!...just..WOW! Best theater Ive ever been to. Ive lived all around the country and been to countless theaters, but this wins hands down the nicest. 1) seats are upgraded and some of the most comfortable Ive sat in. The seats in the ultrascreen have heated seats! 2) the ultrascreen is amazingly large, clear, and audio phenomenal. 3) Pepsi 4) popcorn is great!

Really a great, clean, friendly theater. The staff is great here!! Seating is comfy, too. The food is over-priced, but its a theater, so thats to be expected.

This theatre sports awesome reclining seats and an automated ticket system if youd prefer to order online and scan in a QR code. The screens and sound system are pretty state of the art, too. If you have to see a person for whatever reason, whether for concessions or tickets, standing in a long line will be the norm, based on my Sunday morning experience.

I would give it a higher rating if it werent for the concessions.I got in line with one, single customer in front of me. He had an issue with his pretzels being cold. The cashier walked away to assist him. She then walked back, made eye contact with me, then just walked back to the other end of the counter where the person in front of me was waiting for his new pretzels. She proceeded to just stand there and stare into the lobby. There was another employee down at that end of the counter making pretzels. He definitely was capable of helping the other customer in a few minutes when the pretzels came out. The other lines were so long it didnt seem to make sense for me to switch at that point.After the pretzels came out, she served them to the customer who had been in front of me. She then came back down to my end of the counter, look me dead in the face, and then walk away to start filling the small promo bags of popcorn. I look at the lines next to me and there are still 7-8 people in each line, so I stay put. Several minutes later the people behind me get upset and we all decide to just move to the other lines.At this point I have missed the first 10 minutes or so of my movie and I am only here to get a REFILL on my large popcorn. I was there for a preview screenings of the Sonic movie, so its a real bummer that Im missing this movie because I decided to still spend money with the theater while there for a free screening.To follow all of this up, as Im waiting in my new line I see the person who abandoned her entire line of customers coughing profusely and NOT covering her mouth at all. Come to find out the promo bags shes filling up are for a birthday party or something... And she is straight up coughing on their popcorn.I tried to get the managers attention a few times as he passed through the lobby, but he was always a bit too busy to acknowledge me.Anyway, just a real bummer to let customer service drop so hard, especially at a 10am showing when the theater was not very busy.

Great seats, comfortable and plenty of leg room. I dont feel like a sardine in there!!! Bout time theaters actually beat the standard home theater. Ill go back, no question

For $11 you get a lounge recliner... I mean a cushy lounge recliner that has leg rests and leans almost all the way back... AWESOME

Wow, I cannot wait for another reason to drive 1.5 hours to see another movie from their obscure collection. A beautiful, clean and comfortable theater. Actually now my favorite theater.

We were in the 21 LoungeSeats are nice. Service is nice. But after the movie the theater never turned on the audience lights. Had to use phone flashlight to exit without falling.

Love this theater, always clean and the Ultra screen is amazing. Also they have a really good veggie burger.

The theater was clean and the movie was Great :). However being in the Bristol theater (also known as the 5 star lounge) u expect good service, after all, that is what u r actually paying extra to get, correct.. I have noticed Marcus Theaters are really cheap when it comes to providing the correct number of servers to the Bristol lounges. Our theater only had 1 person to serve over 75 people, which was an IMPOSSIBLE TASK... It meant, he forgot things. With us, he forgot to deliver part of our food. In fact, after we reminded him that we had stuff missing, it took an hour before the missing food ever arrived, so by time it did arrive, we simply told him, we no longer wanted it. The company really needs to staff accordingly, so everyone receives what they have ordered before their movie and not an hour after the show has begun. We dont really blame the staff, but we do hold the Manager of the Theater and the Owners responsible. After all, shouldnt the ones making the money be truly responsible, when there isnt enough staff?? They need to fix this issue, so their customers can return to enjoying the Movies and Not Worry about their orders... :)

Very good cinema experience. Me and the boys watched Avengers Endgame finally, and we were given comfortable reclining seats with plenty of leg room. Food was expensive as always, but that is what a normal movie theater is like. Would recommend if you want to see a movie

It was very clean, quiet on a Thurs. morning. Enjoyed the show. They have a new rule about purses having to be 12 inchs or smaller. Not to happy about that since I dont own small purses.

Favorite and only movie spot. Theres like 5 theaters closer to my house yet none of them are as good as thing place. Liked it when it was Wehremberg and as Marcus. Friendly staff and the best seats in the house. Also their $4 bucket refills really help my student budget spending so I can still continue to enjoy going to the movies with popcorn. Their rewards program is great too. All my friends are AMCers but I will forever stay loyal to this place.

The movie was good. Our seats filthy. I had to brush popcorn off my seat and move a soda cup. Popcorn all over floor. I sat on something gum or candy. Extremely disappointed. Manager not even apologetic. Terrible customer service.

The ultra screen theater is pretty awesome. It has the reclining seats, but no little table. The screen was huge and the sound system was seat shaking. I ordered pretzel bites and the portion was HUGE. The chicken tenders and fries are also really good. Just keep in mind because there are no tables, youll be eating your food out of your lap.

5 star lounge is my favorite date night spot with my husband. Everything was great except for the wait to receive a mixed drink. 30 minutes from when ordered it was finally received.

While the film was great I was less than impressed with the theater. In the bathroom 2 of the stalls were out of order. The lock in the handicap bathroom is improperly installed and you cant Lock the door.As for the seating we had 2 of them that the recliners were broken.Sad for a new theater

The food is top notch, love the dream theater seating just not the prices! However you are paying for the comfort and delicious food.

Arrived in plenty of time for movie, went to two concession lines to try and get beverages which according to the website an order was necessary for the movie in the reclined theater. There was no one taking tickets so we walked right in. There were 5 or 6 concession stations with 2 people working. We are waiting in the theater for someone to fix the projector. Its been 20 minutes.

The theater was very clean and spacious. Theres a dining area and plenty of food options. The seats are incredibly comfortable - leather with the ability to recline and prop your feet up. The sound is also fantastic in this theater.

Surround sound experience wonderful. Recliner so comfortable...feels like hone.

My friend and I and our 3 older kids went to see a movie today and were told our purses were too big and we had to put them in our car. We measured our purses and they were a couple inches larger than what is “allowed”. So you want us to put our purses in the car so people can watch us doing that and break in our cars? We opened our purses in front of the manager and asked if she wanted to see if we were smuggling in snacks (we were not but have in the past to be honest). Not going to pay $5 for what I can get at Walgreens for $1. She said this was a safety thing and she was not allowed to search our purses. Mind you there were 3 cop cars there at the time and cops on the inside the entire time we were there. I don’t own a gun and I’m all about safety but seriously... guns can fit inside of a makeup bag. So if I had my conceal and carry it would be ok and that’s not a safety issue?? After the movie we watched 3 different ladies go in with huge purses and we waited to see if they had to put their purses in the car. Nope!! If you’re going to make a rule make it for everyone. And if you want to make your $20 for popcorn and a soda, well it’s a little hard to carry anything when you’re holding a wallet, keys, and cell phone because your purse is in the trunk.

Went and saw a late movie. Nice and quiet. Would go back again another time.

Underwent major renovations! Clean and comfortable. $5 movie Tuesdays makes date nights super easy on a budget. Upgraded theater chairs- cushy recliners with tons more left room! And even better - HEATED seats in the special screened theaters. Totally worth it!

The time I went I was able to enjoy the movie with no distractions.

We used to love this theater when it was Wehrenberg Galaxy. The employees were really nice and helpful. Since it became Marcus, we have experienced a handful of people being great, but the rest are just morose, rude or bored. I gave it 3 stars because the theater itself is terrific....comfortable seats and clean.

Went for the 5 star lounge, myself and friends arrived 20 minutes early to order late lunch. Not only was our food the last to arrive 30 minutes into the movie they actually came out and asked if we ordered food, twice, clearly forgetting our order. There were also small children in the theater... where they were selling alcohol beverages. Not impressed with my experience for what I paid for, won’t be going back any time soon. This theater was a lot better under Wehrenberg.

Currently at this theater. Bought a soda, but both soda machines are broken; one is putting out just water, and the other just syrup (no carbonation). I went and found the manager to let her know. After I told her the machines were broken, she just rolled her eyes at me and walked away. She’s either having a bad morning, or she is the rudest human on the planet. I waited a few minutes to see if maybe she had just gone to fix the problem, but she never came back and the machines still aren’t working, so I went back through the line and got a refund. So, two stars for the ease of refund, but minus three for complete and total lack of giving a single care.

I really like being able to have assigned seating. I also prefer the popcorn at Marcus, the butter tastes better to me than the other chain theatres. I also like that they put it in a sturdier container and not just a bag.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this theater. The thing I liked most was the reclining seats. Yes you read that Right! Big oversized reclining seats! Comfortable fake leather recliners. The only drawback was I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep during the movie and had to put my seat up to stay awake.The place and restrooms were clean and sanitary. All the counter staff were pleasant and seemed to be well trained. Kudos to management! Will definitely be back to see another movie there!

Cool place to go for a movie night.This theater has a section where you can order food, eat, and pay all while seated in your own recliner.My wife and I werent impressed with the service, as our order took a very long time to come and was incomplete. Maybe that was an anamoly.Strangely, the bathrooms are not where you would expect, a little out of the way and further than I cared for.There was also an arcade, with some solid classics: Jurassic Park, Aliens, as well as a basketball hoop game and an air hockey table.We had a fun time chatting before our movie, during the show, and hanging out after.Kids can come, so this is not a 21+ theater.Not 5 stars because service and bathroom quality/location were a little under par.

Great food, clean theater, very nice staff, wonderful facility, but I have to leave one star for an egregious violation on human rights. The staff will not serve an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. Yes, Im dead serious, I ordered an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea, and the waiter brought me an Arnold Palmer with unsweet tea. After I had taken a drink and realized the mistake, I pressed the button to recall the waiter. I apologized, and said that I ordered an Arnold Palmer with sweet tea. The waiter said Im sorry, we can only serve Arnold Palmers with unsweet tea. I looked at him, puzzled, but I didnt want to take up his time as the theater was very busy. Ah, sorry. I replied, and he quickly left.Please amend this, and I will happily change my review to five stars.

I feel this theater is going down. You see the owner on screen before the movie. He stats this is what his father and grandfather have always been in the theater business. I couldn’t tell, the only thing good about this place is the seats. The food stand looks very very outdated. The man who waited on me seemed like he hadn’t had sleep or was just hating his job. He did give a smile he didn’t ask anything, did he even breathe? I don’t know. Now my sister waited for ever down at the end for a beer. While 7 employees just looked at her. She told them that if she wasn’t supposed to be at that counter, could have one of the employees told her. Instead of staring at her like she was dumb. The owner needs to update the place, hire a better staff. If the staff unhappy about pay, than pay your people better. Oh also keep the soda bar area clean and there was no lids for the sodas. The paper towels dispenser didn’t. Work in the bathroom.. I hope you makeChanges for what I pay to see a movie.

I love the theater and the new reclining chairs, but the button was broken on my seat. I bought the seat assigned before the movie because of how crowded the theater was.

Worst place to go to. There was no one working the front desk or ticket checking area one person at the concession stand. We went to see the slayer movie that is a one night thing and they played Jesus and god previews and the Devine plan about president reagan and the pope and said that the slayer movie was not to be played because of “satellite issues” or downloading issues that had just become aware of 30 minutes after the movie was supposed to start. They could not answer our questions or explain it clearly they just said they couldn’t play it for some reason obviously someone played that to get the message out to slayer fans to turn to god. Keep your beliefs to yourself like your hands. They were not helpful or sorry they were laughing at us thinking it was funny and a joke. Never going there again or any Marcus theater they suck!

My husband and I are very frequent customers for our biweekly date nights. Usually we have a good time, but these last two times were lacking. The first one was that there were kids in the five star lounge which used to be 21+ only. The 2nd was tonight the lights stayed on through the whole previews. Bs.

Nice movie theater with 14 screens. Seats are very comfortable with enough leg room. Watch a movie in just $5 on every Tuesday. So dont miss any movie and enjoy :)

I love the assigned seats and the roomy couches. The people who work here are also very friendly. I especially love that there are no plexiglass barrier between the rows of seats like at some other theaters in the area. Without it Im able to see the screen without a distracting line from the top of the barrier so I especially appreciate that not being there.

Went to see Black Panther here. First time here since renovation. Wow what a difference!! You reserve your seat when purchased online, great idea!! We went right to our seats. Comfortable Recliner chairs with drink cups. Very relaxing to watch movie. Enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend!!

Love this place. Those recliner seats are fantastic. The movie selections are always enough to find something you want to see. The place overall is clean. When there is a problem they are generally right on top of it. Popcorns not bad. 5.00 Tuesday is the best. Sometimes we will watch 3 movies on a Tuesday! Popcorn is cheap on Tuesday also. They have specials on Tuesday that just make it great.

Everything was clean and staff was pleasant. Popcorn was a but stale and it was an early morning show so...yeah $15 for last nights popcorn. Dont get me wrong. I understand how expensive it is to make new popcorn

Comfy seats. Cheaper than local theater

The theater seats are to narrow. The seats move up or down because you hit the buttons with your body as you sit watching the movie. They seem to have added a new feature at concession stand . You stand in the center waiting for available line but there isnt anything telling you this so you receive bad looks.

New bag policy with no warning.Very poor planning and a security nightmare.You expect ladies to walk out with their purses after they buy their tickets.Placing their bag in their car, then return for a 2 hour movie.Perfect opportunity for criminals to enter said vehicle for a guaranteed prize.With 4 grown kids and 2 grandkids, we’ve spent more money at Wehrenberg and now Marcus theaters than I want to know, but, looks like that’s coming to an end.You don’t even have people taking tickets and yet you can hire a kid to harass ladies about their purses.Goodbye Marcus.Hello B&B (or other).
