Visited Faust Park several times during COVID-19 closures and fell in love with Thornhill. Beautiful grounds - during the day, during sunset, even during the rain, and lots of nature in Faust park. Excited to potentially see the inside of the home one day.

This slice of history nestled on the southwest side of Faust Park is a great place to visit, especially when they open the homes, barns, and the other sites for special historical events. The historical society that provides live reenactments of the former governors life and family journeys is a neat way to learn about the rich history of the area. The home, with its summer kitchen, is full of great stories and the architecture is a solid period restoration of the original home that was moved to the property in the County Park years ago. And dont forget to visit the cemetery while youre there!

This is a nice place to go for a short 1-2.5 mile hike. A lot of green open spaces with great historical barns, homes, and a small peach grove to view. Slight challenge going up the steep backside of the trail. Worth it though.
