Great place to learn the art of axe throwing. It was such a fun experience, I joined a league. Now Ive met a whole new group of friends. I look forward to going there as often as life allows!

Chopper’s Hatchet House is a great way for a night of fun with friends!! Our coach Cameron was amazing, and made our experience the most fun it ever could be!! I definitely recommend picking here for a night of fun with friends and family and I will definitely be coming back!! And if you do go don’t forget to request Cameron as your coach, he’s awesome!!

So much fun!! We brought food and booze. Only beer and wine allowed, no hard liquor. Cant keep coolers in the throwing area, however there a vendor coolers for you to use. Our instructor made everything more fun. Cant wait to go back!!

My family first went to Choppers 3 weeks ago and none of us had ever thrown an axe before. The next day, my son had joined the Sunday youth league and never looked back.Thank you to Keith and Tony for making this a fun sport for my son and encouraging him to just keep getting better.UPDATE: They were closed for a while due to the pandemic, but are open now. Choppers staff has done a great job of reorganizing the physical space for COVID precautions including spacing, masks, and sanitizer. My son is back in the Sunday youth league. We held a birthday party with less than 10 participants and plenty of space for distancing.No place is going to perfect. We all have to do our part to stay safe by keeping distance and stay masked. At the same time, Choppers is doing what they can to keep their venue going.

My family of 5 ( 26, 30, 31, and 2 in 50s) went to Choppers in Cherry Hill NJ for the first time to celebrate a couple birthdays. We had a great time . I was concerned it would require a lot of arm strength ( which I do not possess) but it doesn’t. It is mostly technique. Kevin, our excellent, fun instructor, was with us the entire time to assist and suggest differing ways to throw effectively and guide us through the various friendly competitions. I highly recommend it for a fun family outing or with a large group.

Im sorry its taken so long to write this, but they have it coming. We had our holiday party there a few weeks ago and I gotta say, its one of the best company parties weve had. What a blast. And what a great way to bring people together. I live about 3 miles from a hatchet throwing place in Philly and Id rather make the trek to Jersey to go here - its that good. So what stands them out? They teach you tricks to the trade, they have a bevy of games up their sleeves to throw at you and they have fun with their job. I found nothing wrong with it. Special props to our instructors: David, Cameron, Darren and Justin. A+

I always wanted to do this and my husband and I finally did it. Love it! We had so much fun and David and Jesus were super nice. Great for groups also and walk-ins.Unlike some places they take walk-ins during the week and earlier in the day. Went on a Tuesday around 1pm. Had the place pretty much to ourselves. Fantastic! Definitely coming back.

Very fun. Instructors are fantastic. The instructors give suggestions (move up, try this, etc) but do not reposition you (which I appreciate since I am not a fan of anyone touching me). We had a couple people in our group with physical limitations and the instructors were right on it.It feels cold when you get there but you warm up once you start throwing.

Came with a group of 10 for two hours. Loads of fun and easy enough to do. BYOB and BYOF really helps cut down on the overall cost. Would return in a heartbeat.

We went here for a going away party. We had a blast!!! Cameron was a great guide/coach. We will definitely be back.

Went to Chopper’s for my first axe throwing experience. I will be going back next time I am in town! We had the best service from the time we called until we walked out the door. Trevor was with us scoring and teaching us how to perfect our throws. I chose this venue out of all of the options because of the arcade games and pool tables after our event. The other competition just does not add up-once you are finished you have to leave. I enjoyed hanging out with my family for a while longer competing in games. 100% satisfaction!

We had a great time at Choppers Hatchet House! Super easy to book online and very organized when we all arrived. We waited in the lounge that has tons of old school pinball and video games until our groups start time. Once our time arrived we were greeted by Saskia who was our regulator for the night. She went over all the rules and quickly had us all throwing axes for the first time. Saskia was great all night as she offered pointers to get us hitting bulls eyes regularly. If you are considering a fun night out definitely consider Choppers!

Brought my husband and his friends for his 30th birthday, was a lot of fun! We will be coming back for sure. They had other games too- video games, ring toss and pool.

Just came back from our first time there and we are definitely planning on going back! Had SO much fun, even though hatchet throwing is NOT my calling in life, haha! Cameron was our instructor and he was super funny, patient and just all-around awesome! Definitely go and enjoy a night out - they also have a mini arcade setup,which was fun while we waited for out group to arrive.

Awesome awesome awesome time! Definitely a good time for everyone involved. Our trainer was awesome we went in for one round and ended up staying for 2. BYOB is cool too as long as everyone stays responsible. I went with a group of 6 and ended up kicking everyones butt. It gets a little competitive so dont be upset if your girlfriend kicks your butt.

Choppers Hatchet House was such a great place to go with my friends! They were friendly and accommodating (some friends came a bit late) and helped us with splitting the payments; they made everything easy! Our coach Carly was awesome, and helped explain the rules, how to throw better, and kept score for us. She was a fun person to hang out with too! Overall, the experience was fantastic and we cant wait to go back! After our session, we even stayed and played darts and pinball!

Went to Choppers tonight with my work for my first throwing experience. The building and facility was pretty cool. After a long hallway of iPads with waivers attached to the wall you enter in a large room with vintage arcade games and the ace throwing pits down to the left. The staff was knowledgeable and tought us what to do and by the end we were all hitting the wall.

Never experienced axe throwing and it was definitely addicting. From the moment you walk in the door, you instantly feel the vibe of good times ahead. This new facility’s layout decor is spot on and is perfect for any type of event you wish to have; whether a fun night out with friends or a larger networking event to loosen up - I’d suggest here. A lot of lanes, each with a lively axe throwing helper (Cameron was a pro)... and BYOB fridges. How cool is that? Highly suggest Choppers!

Went early NYE. Darren was a great coach & our party of 6 ages from 48 - 61 years old LOVED IT!! Afterwards we played pinball & darts!

So my wife, being the amazing woman that she is, set up a birthday party here. I love the idea of throwing axes, I mean who doesnt? The manager was super helpful and our instructor was great. I feel like he had as much fun with it as we did. I am pretty sure it was Keith, if its not I will be back on to correct that. He was super friendly and just kept helping us throughout the day.

This place was awesome. Walked in with other first timers and they were very helpful and enthusiastic. Darren was a great instructor.

We had a great time. There were several of us. Its BYOB and we had a large private refrigerator at our station to keep beverages cold. Our regulator (the staff member who moderates the game) was really nice, very helpful, and also very aware (felt nice and safe with him keeping an eye on everything). They really try to make it an easy, fun experience. I can definitely understand why people become repeat customers and even joining league play!

Chopper’s Hatchet House was so much. I have been wanting to try it for a while now. So I called in the afternoon to reserve a spot for 5 of us that night (which usually for reservations it’s 24 hrs in advance) but Keith called me right back, he got us in for the same day. When I walked in Meg greeted me with a smile and was very nice.I got there early, while I was waiting for the others, I went to see what the place looked like, Josh (one of the coaches) was working the “walk-in” area and gave me some pointers. When everyone in our group was there, Ben (our coach) came to get us. Ben was awesome, he helped us all out. Everyone, including Ben, had some great laughs. The staff at Chopper’s Hatchet House were great. I even booked a party for in a few weeks. Can’t wait to go back!

It’s a ton of fun. We had AJ, who was our awesome instructor. Highly recommend getting a group together and throwing some axes. Great workout (you’ll be sore) and lots of laughs. I took my parents and they even had fun.The experience is pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.

Cameron talks too much and doesnt just let people figure it out for themselves. The front entrance is horribly designed and takes way too long for getting things ready to go. The 2 hours was fun but I will be looking for somewhere else next time.

Organized a networking event at Choppers Hatchet House with 25 or so Young Professionals. Keith and Greg were fantastic to coordinate with and were super accommodating to our needs! The event ran so smoothly thanks to their wonderful staff Kate, John, Alexis, Cameron and Curtis. Highly recommend! It was an awesome time!

We just came back from hatchet throwing at Choppers Hatchet House. My family and I had a blast! Kevin stayed with us the whole time, cheering us on and giving us advice on how to throw the hatchet. It only took most of our group of 6 a few attempts, and we were hitting the board and sticking our throws! Two hours is plenty of time to get in enough throwing for all in our group. We were even able to have a few minutes after out tournament, to throw a few more throws each. If you are looking for a fun activity, be sure to go to Choppers! Cant wait to come back and try it again.

First time axe throwing and I had a blast! Went with some friends using a Groupon for a 2 hour session with an instructor, who guided us through how to play and score in the games. You can bring your own drinks and food and just hang out while taking turns throwing axes at the bullseye. There are also arcade games and two pool tables in the venue to play with. Great fun with a group of friends or you can join a league and play regularly for 8 weeks.

We went for our friends birthday party and had an AXEcellent time! We had a group of 12 and had 2 lanes which was perfect for 6 on each side. Everyone had plenty of opportunities to throw. Currently throwing in the Sunday league. One of the nicest axe throwing places Ive been to. Tons of open space to allow you to move safely and be social with other groups. Tons of great coaches, arcade games, bar games, and just an overall fun atmosphere.

The staff helped me lug in all of the stuff I brought, were organized in helping everyone and moved things along seamlessly!Once out party stared our coaches were so fun but also in control so a worrier like me felt super safe! Even with a party of 21 everyone got to spend a lot of time throwing in the arena during our 2 hours! They even let us move upstairs to the game room for cake after our time was up!I cannot say enough good things about Choppers and I am so glad they have moved into our neighborhood! Everyone in our party is still talking about how much fun they had and how they cant wait to come back!

We came here for Mothers Day to do something fun! I got a groupon and saved a good amount of money. The groupon was not working online, so I had to call and book through the phone which was no big deal. I had to pay the taxes over the phone, which I guess was not included in the groupon rate. Something like $20 not a huge deal.The place is really fun. There is so much more to do then ax throwing. There was pool, arcade games and more. It was fun playing the games while we waited the few minutes for our instructor.The decor everywhere was so fun! Big bulls eyes everywhere and some really cool graffiti art. You are able to bring your own food and drinks. There are fridges there you can keep everything in and tables with plenty of room to spread out. There were also TVs you could put on whatever you wanted to watch. The music was also really good! They played a lot of older songs, some from last year some from years ago. It was a really good mix of songs that everyone knew.The instructor Curtis was very friendly and knowledgeable. Its nice when you can see the person teaching you really enjoys what they are doing. We spent a few minutes practicing. Then played a few different games to see who could earn the most points. Everything was computerized and displayed on the screen. Two hours is just the right amount of time.Overall, we had a really great time. I would definitely go back again! Thanks for a great Mothers Day Choppers Hatchet House!

Never did something like this before in my life. So much fun. And their digital scoreboard is awesome! The staff is very friendly and helpful in understanding all the rules. Theres even leagues!!! Great time and perfect for large groups.

I have been to a few axe throwing venues over the past 6 months and this is definitely the best in the area. We showed up 45 minutes or so before our appointment time. Instead of sitting in the corner waiting we put our beer in the fridge and played a game of pool. THIS IS A LARGE PLACE! Plenty of room to spare, which was nice when you have a large group. There is like 3 or 4 (cant remember) pool tables, some video games, TVs on every wall and above every lane and no shortage of refrigerators to keep the beer cold. This is also the only place I have seen with a digital scoreboard, which made it easy to follow the game. The girl was so nice she ordered us pizza from the joint next door (we paid they didnt - it was good!). Overall a very relaxing and fun night. I am thinking about joining their league I had so much fun.

Great idea! Well organized super easy going atmosphere. Heather was our referee and really made the game fun and competitive. We had pizza delivered while we were competing and other groups brought their food in with them either way its a good time.

I had a great time going here with my coworkers for an after work get together. Our instructor was very laid back and helpful. He taught us how to throw multiple ways and organized various tournaments for us. Id highly recommend coming here.

A small group of friends and I recently came here to celebrate a birthday, and this blew away our expectations. The staff was friendly, funny, and always willing and able to answer any questions we had about how to throw our axes. The interior has plenty of space to accommodate food, drinks, coats, etc. in addition to providing a variety of options available to those needing a break from their main activity (or waiting their turn to throw once more). Special shout-out to our regulator, Josh Kurtz, for enhancing our experience tenfold with an encouraging coaching method, witty commentary, and a refusal to give in until we were all not only having fun but felt comfortable enough to play games and tournaments with one another. Thank you for providing such a special place for my friends and I to escape to for the night - we cannot wait to come back :)

I visited Choppers Hatchet House for the first time last week. It was an EXCELLENT experience! The staff was very fun and friendly and the environment was different but in a cool way; much better than a couple other local places, weve tried. After throwing axes, my friends and I shot a few games of pool. Overall, great experience and I will definitely be back!

I work here, so this is cheating, but Ive been to a few different axe throwing facilities, and this is by far my favorite. Its the biggest, most comfortable, coolest aesthetically and (not just talking about me) has some of the best and friendliest staff you could hope for. Whether Im working or visiting for fun, this place always puts me in a top-notch mood.

Lot of fun and the instructor Derik was very engaging and helpful. Make sure to bring 4 people if you do not want to interact with another group. Byob with fridges inside. Pool table and lots of retro arcade games. Has facilities for parties and another area for leagues. Easy to complete consent forms via internet. Make sure you bring ID. ( used for consent forms and alcohol. You can order food to be delivered. Bring dollars or quarters for the arcade. They do have a change machine available. Restrooms very clean. Would have been 5 stars if I had known to bring another couple. Did meet 2 cool people though. There is a Groupon. They do 1hr and 2hr sessions. With the groupon we had to schedule in advance for our spot. We did the 2hr and it does become really physical..something to keep in mind. Wasnt just throwing an axe at a board. We were taught different games to play and safety 1st.

This was so much fun. What the wives had originally planned as a date the guys would enjoy turned into a night that we all really enjoyed! The instructor made up comfortable and also added to the fun!

Went here with a group of 7 from work and it was AWESOME. The whole group had so much fun and Saskia was great. She was very patient and took the time to make sure everyone in our group got the hang of it. I was able to order pizza when I initially booked our time slot so I wouldnt have to worry about it the day of. Byob is also very convenient. None of us had ever been axe throwing before, but we all had a great time. I will definitely be back!

We had always wanted to try it and one night we just walked in and now we are hooked. We already trying to plan out a group event because we had so much fun. Our coach Chris made it super easy to learn there wasnt any awkwardness just showed us to throw and then corrected bad habits untill we were throwing bullseyes. At first I thought it was weird they couldnt throw to show us, but turns out it wasnt needed. BYO with friends and axes, what more could you want. This place was so much more fun than I thought it would be!! Definitely something different to try out. BYOB staff was chill and so nice and funny. We had a guy named Dave and also a a lady with blonde hair who were great. We had 20 people and they were really patient and helpful. Made sure we had a good time. Will definitely go there again

Had an awesome time on november the 14th here. Especially due to our trainer Josh The Timber Wizard he was a joy to have and extremely courteous and professional. Highly recommend this place and Josh as well.

Our group have a great time for our Christmas Party. The staff was attentive and the coaches will really fun.
