Its a very nice park. Some of the elevated nature trails are in disrepair and their is a bit of litter here and their from the best humanity has to offer but otherwise its a great place.

My husband and I have hiked there many times, and always enjoyed it. This time we somehow ended up hiking along the creek. It was awesome. We love it even more than ever.

Love it, love the nature and the environment. Great place to take family or friends for a walk or hike or even a picnic. There’s an area to play soccer baseball and basketball although hoops are not up. 10/10

Looks like a very nice park but there are signs posted stating that dogs are NOT allowed. I don’t know why some reviews are stating they are allowed. I should have read more reviews before driving all the way here with my dog. On to the next park.

Awesome play ground. Lots for the kids to do. They recently added a carousel type ride thats a blast for kids. Park is also very handicap accessible with specialty swings, the previously mentioned carousel has wheelchair spots, and a playset that has ramps and wide paths that a wheelchair could easily access. Also a lovely walking trail with lots of beautiful birds.

Its nice to be able to stroll through the walkways when the weather is nice, but people need to cool it with the peanuts. They throw them all over the place to attract small animals. God forbid there be children with peanut allergies at the park.

We went here to eat lunch. It was a nice park, there is a long, wide trail that goes through the entire park and there were a number of folks walking. While it was a nice quiet place, it didnt seem to have much to offer in the way of hiking trails, but I believe that would be more associated with Reinstein woods which is literally attached to it. Would like to go back and see more!

Great Park all around. For picnics, bike riding, walking trails, pavilions, great wild life to watch and see. Tennis courts, basketball courts, several playgrounds for kids- when open- currently the playgrounds are closed due to COVID 19. SO much to explore of nature. Typically a very busy place during baseball/ softball season, again very quiet baseball/ softball fields this year. I saw they also put a shuffle board in the park as well! Many great memories as a child ad now as an adult Love this park!

This is a great park for day hiking. All the trails are easily accessible and if the trail crosses a spot with a deep marsh, it has vinyl stilts for the trail to stay elevated, or in this case, to stay level. Its great for any level of fitness, the trails are relatively gradient free. So no steep hills, or valleys..There is several areas of the park that are right along the Creek. You can watch deer drinking water, and ducks that will come right up to you looking for food I suppose, however Im not sure if its legal to feed them. Check it out if you like the outdoors.

Review №15

Miles of nature trails through the woods that arent muddy or sloppy. Some of the boardwalks do need some maintenance but overall everything is in good shape. Plenty of other recreational opportunities including playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball, hockey, baseball, softball, fishing, and picnicing.

Zo
Review №16

Wonderful experience! Its highly recommended that you bring a friend - for personal safety and just to share the view with. The trails are lovely, being very twisty and turny, and covered in overgrowth to keep things shady. There are even boardwalks that stretch between patches of forest. Make sure you bring your own water though, as I couldnt seem to find any fountains. A bit difficult to get to via public transportation, so Id advise making a day of it if you dont have your own vehicle (or have someone who can pick you up after). There arent any restaurants but there are some vending machines located in some of the bigger fields for convenience. Awesome for walking, running or jogging. Its hard to get lost - just keep taking right turns to go in a full circle. Its about 3.5 miles then :)

This is always a wonderful, fun, beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The children can play on the playground, or go for a nature walk on the build-around-the-trees-and- grounds boardwalk in any season. There are so many animals that come around: deer, chipmunks, squirrels, many birds, etc. I have brought all my visiting relatives here and they all loved it!

I havent been to Stiglmeier Park in quite some time, but the sun was out on a cold day, and I decided to go for a walk on the trails. Upon entering the park I made a right and easily found the path meandering through the woods. As I walked it ended up being a wonderfully peaceful walk, rife with small animals on an easy to follow path. Would recommend for any age.

Its very quiet and nature has been preserved in the woods. There are baseball diamonds so there is noise there but the trees and undergrowth dampen it. You walk over the ground on wooden stairways to preserve the flora and fauna as much as possible.

Love this place, take the kids there all the time, great place for a variety of activities. They have nature trails, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, football fields, open areas, pavilions playground equipment, and signs everywhere stating “no dogs allowed” although you may have to watch out for Karens who believe that the park policy does not apply to them.

Beautiful park with so much there to do! My only complaint is they kicked us out for having my dog with us even though it says online that is dog friendly. The lady right next to us with a small dog was left alone... frustrating, but i guess the thing online was incorrect info. The guy said there were like 30ish signs saying No Dogs. We just clearly didnt see them.

Did not even know a place like this could be in cheektowaga! Its beautiful the trails are nice and clean, the random sit ins are perfect. A lot of the trail seems to be wheelchair/stroller accessible besides the parts with stairs but they are wider stairs so it helps with strollers. I wish they had some more garbage cans near trails but its okay.

This is one of my favorite parks in WNY. They have ball parks, playgrounds, shelters, picnic benches, and a beautiful path going through the woods The animals are friendly and approachable, just still be cautious, they are wild. I love seeing the squirrels, chipmunks, cardinals, chicadees, woodpeckers, deer, and raccoons. If you can, I highly recommend spending some time in this wonderful park!!

Place was packed with people, making it extremely difficult to abid by social distancing rules and regulations. For the majority I did see about 75-80% were wearing mask how we are instructed to by federal instructions. Place was REALLY clean. Grounds are taking REALLY GREAT care of the place. I only wish the amount of people there was thinned out.
