Yes the seats are uncomfortable, the snacks still over priced but the movie rate itself is decent. Of course all movie theaters claim that the amount percent they keep from showing movies is extremely minimal and the theaters could not continue showing movies if it werent for the triple over priced amount of the snacks. Some people had referred to movieland 8 as a dollar theater yet that was far from the truth as far as the actual rate goes. But also on the positive side they always did theyre best to keep the theater clean and presentable.

The best bang for the buck. I cant understand why these theaters still cant sustain themselves. Really worth it.

Very disappointed this place is closed. Someone should buy it and show 70s and 80s movies and maybe even a black and white night. Thatd be a great public interest, and different.

Hello! Good Evening- My name is Ashley Paul and I attended Fridays 10/12/13 10:00 PM viewing of Premium Rush- As I initially waited in the concession line I witnessed three young men- (two of which appeared to be obvious staff members) be very rude to an older gentleman who was having trouble finding his theatre- They were laughing and being very sarcastic as he tried to explain that he wasnt sure theatre five was were he needed to be. Yess the staff were correct but very immature and definetly failed at portraying that great customer service that im used to when ive attended this theatre in the past. Now around 10:47 my niece who accompanied me was having a bad cough during the movie- soo I went to get her a beverage- I made my way to the concession counter and a young girl was sweeping- the lights were off- everyone was chatting and cleaning- I politely asked if there was any way I could pay for a bevarage because my niece is sick and shes having a bad cough episode- The young girl actually cut me off- shook her head and said rudely that everything was closed, and went back to sweeping. I noticed there was a vending machine and asked her if it was working- she stared at me as if I was bothering her and just shook her head yes- I went to the vending machine and it said that it only took singles and I had a five dollar bill- Soo i chose to seek another staff member who was chatting in the ticket booth and I told her the situation with my niece and asked if I could get change- she looked at me and just said that all the registers were off- Yet she said it as though I was gonna attempt to rob the place- I still maintained my composeur yet I again and sternly asked her if there was any way that I can get change because my niece is sick I need to get her a beverage- She then just said ill go into the office and get you change. She brought me my five singles and I went on my way. Now I must state that I was and am ridiculously dissappointed in the assistance that I received, Yess i was well aware that theyre just trying to get things situated to close down the theatre for the evening but I should have not had to come out of character to the point of even being more stern to let it be known that I need a beverage for a sick kid. Ive been an avid customer since junior high- I am 25 now- And if this is the treatment I get- then ill be directing myself and my hoard of movie buff family members and friends to another theatre. Thank you for your time- Tisk Tisk.

Been going there for many years and you cant beat the value of the $7 BIG DEAL, upgrade to a large popcorn for $2.45 more! They dont have new seats and it might not be as clean as the regal but its more than fine, not a dirty place or anything! I went to the regal last week and it cost me and my girlfriend $53, the same would have cost us $16.45 at Movieland so you do the math!

Good prices, but hopefully you dont get theater 1, the screen is so dusty that it looks like the bottom is covered with drawings people drew into said dust and it is REALLY obvious and distracting during the movie.
