Challenging, very exciting it was well designed. Felt like you were in a horror movie. Want to go back and do another theme!

We are a roller derby team from Los Angeles, CA that visited Buffalo, NY in November for a few games we were playing in & in between we wanted to do something fun, we ran into this place after some online searching & boy are we glad we went! They went above & beyond to accommodate our group of 14 & we had a blast!!! Chris was our game master & he was really helpful. The entire staff there was friendly! Its was so fun & scary! We split into groups of 7 & did the Zombie room & Serial Killer room! Lots of scares & laughter was had & we definitely recommend this to Buffalo residents who havent been & out of state visitors! The quality of the rooms are tip top! It was like being on a movie set. You can tell lots of time, creativity went into these rooms! Absolutely amazing stuff!

We chose The Terminal and it was great. It was a bit complicated and if there was a bit more time it would be better but it was very fun overall. Cody was there to let us know about the game and was pleasant and made us comfortable with some jokes. If youre looking for something fun to do and to test your skills, this is the perfect place.

We had a great time trying to escape the terminal escape room! Cody was great and made the experience even better. We will be back soon, but im not a fan of horror so Ill have to choose wisely. Great job Cody, you deserve a massive raise for working in that absolutely terrifying building

The Terminal room is awesome. The props were amazing and the attention to detail reallly keeps you thinking. Cj our game master was great. Gave just enough help without giving away the answers. Highly recommend!

Locked up Escape Games are the best. We have been to others, but this one is amazing and very tricky. We had our Daughters 15th Birthday party with the serial killer- They did not finish! We took our son and his friends there the following year for his 15th, they did not finish! We decided to do the Terminal as a family a few weeks ago for my birthday, We never finished! So if your looking for a challenge? I challenge you and your friends and family to try and Escape from one of these rooms! Well worth the money and the staff is awesome. Very friendly and very helpful!

Cheektowaga serial killer escape room. Funnest thing I have ever done. Definitely full of thinking and entertainment. Highly suggest for people who aren’t afraid of pressure. I’m not one that likes to become secluded in these things and I was stuck in a room by myself but didn’t panic. Our game master Nigel was amazing. 100% plan on doing more.

We did the Serial Killer escape room. It totally makes you think and gives a good few jump scares in as well. The group almost made it out but we were a bit slow in the first room, but it was super fun regardless! Our game master Mallory helped us out a ton along the way, while also laughing at us being easily freaked out haha. If it wasnt for her we definitely wouldnt have made it as far as we did. Overall it was a 10/10 experience and Id love to go back and bring my family and see if we could escape together!!

Sydney is so much fun as a game master. She ran Escape the Serial Killer and I had the best time with her!! Much love!!

Could have had a lot more potential. not that many people actually trying to scare you. you would go through half the maze before someone popped out and then thats it. props were really cool but thats all they really had.

During my first experience I had a wonderful time with a red haired game master, I forgot her name, but the second game master, named billy wasn’t helpful or fun at all. He talked, taking us out of the moment. and acted aggravated when he didn’t understand one of the clues he gave us. Also he was super un enthusiastic. The other game master put us into the scenario and made us all excited to begin the room. She was super fun as a game master. Game master definitely makes a difference.

Cody was a fantastic host. Loved the pharaoh’s tomb game. Going tonight for the terminal. Can’t wait!

This was a grate experience. I went with my family and we did the serial killer escape room, it was fantastic. The whole time kept us going and was super interactive. I really enjoyed going there and would probably go again with some friends. The best part was the puzzles, they were fun a d not super hard if you put your mind to it.

I’ve been to Locked Up Escape Games multiple times and always have an awesome experience. The staff are always kind with hints and the rooms are very in depth and challenging. Highly would recommend!!

We have done a few rooms here now and each one is extremely well put together, great clues, and the staff has always been incredibly friendly and make the experience that much better. In 2018 I actually worked with the team to use the Zombie Room as a pregnancy announcement to friends and not only were they willing to help, they were as excited as we were to help announce the news! We are already planning on going to do another room soon and never hesitate to recommend you guys to our friends.

Such an awesome experience ! My friends and I did the “Serial Killer” Escape room experience and it was so much fun! All of the rooms and props were amazing, it felt real. The clues were fun to figure out as a group. We couldn’t stop talking about it after!! Would definitely recommend this experience.

SO well done. Usually escape rooms have either the clues and puzzles right OR the decor right, but generally not both. This one had it all. We were in an ancient pyramid that was REALLY decked out to look like one, down to the 2 inches of sand on the floor. A bunch of different rooms leading us back and forth really made it a blast. Highly, highly recommended.

Take it from ME...... You will have an amazing thrill!Not only is the atmosphere out of this world but so are all the WORKERS. They absolutely did their best to give us an awesome experience with their awesome personalities. I for sure will be returning to ESCAPE EVERY GAME THERE! Great time! Super detailed room with interactions to keep you on your toes. Challenging and alot of fun. We did the serial killer room and had a blast! Thanks for hosting such an awesome experience that I will recommend to all my friends!

CJ was great! Not too difficult while still being super fun and engaging.

This was a really fun escape room. There were several rooms, and was set-up fantastically, even sand on the floor! Great props and puzzles. Billy was super. It was cool inside, much better than 90 degree rooms I have been in at alternate escape rooms. There was plenty for all of us to do, no one felt like they were just watching a couple of people solve the puzzle. We are excited to go back for more escape challenges!

The puzzles in the escape rooms were actually challenging and entertaining to try to figure out. It felt like an actual challenge and an accomplishment to solve each one, the time allotted to your team is very generous if youre constantly working towards your goal. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend going.

Fun but got to last clue on tombs

I went with a college group and did the Terminal. It was a great experience despite the fact I’m not too fond of escape rooms. My guide was so helpful but allowed us to really figure it out for ourselves. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a great time in a fun high paced activity! Will definitely bring my friends back here !!!

We did the pharohs tomb one it was great. The staff was awesome and they made us comfortable as it was our first time. The puzzles where great and made you think! We had a blast and we recommend them to our friends.

Had an absolute blast doing The Terminal. Sets were exactly what I expected the crew at House of Horrors to build! Mallory was an AMAZING Game Master, and was very helpful at times she saw us struggling and gently pointed us in the right direction, without outright giving us the answers. Though we didnt escape, we came so close and only needed maybe another minute or 2 to figure out the last piece of the puzzle.

This was definitely the most elaborate and well designed escape room Ive been to. At a certain point you forget how many rooms you have been through! They are very helpful if clues are needed. Its very dark in the beginning which makes it hard to see. Teamwork is key so bring a bunch that can work together! I would recommend the serial killer escape room to anyone - I know I sure fought some fears!

I had an overall excellent experience at Locked Up Escape Games. At first, when we arrived, the door was locked and since it was winter that was a little bit of an inconvenience so I was feeling uncertain. Once we got inside the employees seemed irritated with one another because there had been a double booking. With all this in mind we started about 20 minutes late.All that aside, my girlfriend and I did a Pharoah’s Tomb Escape Room which was led by an employee- Mallory. She was fantastic and the overall experience in the room was great. We made it out with 40 seconds to spare and found it fun and engaging. I would highly recommend but would caution that overall experience could be better.

The escape room was really cool. It was the first time I did one. It was called Serial Killer it was kind of like an interactive haunted house, excluding live actors. Had a lot of fun. Would likely do another one.

Malerie and Jake were amazing! Both were super friendly and funny. They made our experience even better! The terminal escape room was challenging and loads of fun. Most definitely will be coming back!!

I went with three others and did the Serial killer escape room. We had so much fun! There are multiple rooms and some of the challenges are really tough. They give you three clues which came in handy at some points, that helped keep it fun and not too frustrating. This was the third escape room I’ve ever done and I must say it was definitely the best so far!Staff were friendly. The rooms themselves were interesting and well done. Definitely recommend it!

Went there with my parents and girlfriend. We did the Egyptian escape room and it was awesome! The puzzles were challenging and the decor was extremely detailed. They were also very accommodating to my father who is in a wheelchair.

The escape from the Pharaohs Tomb was very fun, with interesting decors and puzzles. It was a bit too dark, which made it somewhat hard to navigate the room, especially for 7 people. The original capacity of the room is 10 and we were only 7, but it was still too crowded in my opinion and many of us didnt get to solve any puzzles. I would recommend they lower the capacity to 4-5 people so everyone can enjoy it more.

What a great time we had. The staff was amazing and made our experience in the serial killer room so much fun. We are definitely coming back.

Awesome games and fantastic staff. Weve been there twice and both times the rooms were fun, the puzzles challenging and the staff helpful. The second time was for my sons 10th birthday, and the room he chose was too scary for my daughter (8), and the workers took her around to show her how the rooms look on their end. She LOVED it and forgot about her fears entirely. (The son and friends didnt finish in time, but theyre still talking about how much fun they had!) Well definitely be back.

Very fun, realistic experience for an escape room. We did the terminal which is new and it was very hard there were a couple of parts that didnt feel very fluid and some puzzle were well thought out but time consuming. Game master was very involved, which was difficult in the 1 of 3 rooms. The rooms are amazing, like a real subway. Team work is key at the end. We will be coming back again. We got out with 2 minutes or so to spare.

If you are looking for a place to have fun with some friends pull up here. I’ve been about 6 times and it never gets old so much fun you will have a blast

It was both fun and scary. Loved the Serial killer Escape room, it was very challenging. You definitely have to work closely together as a group or team. It was fun and scary trying to escape from one room to the other. Our group was the first to make it out before our time ran out.

Amazing time!! Nigel was a great host as well. We did the Terminal room with a group of 4, which was the perfect size we thought. We highly recommend coming here!!!

It was fun with the live zombie, which added tension and excitement.The clues were very creative. It was very difficult, and some of the clues could have been more linear. Overall a unique experience and a good time!

Cody (the GM) was great. Super fun and lots of energy. Helped make the game run smoothly and helped us have a great experience before and after! One of the best GMs Ive had.

I had a wonderful experience at Locked up Escape Games. My gamemaster was Cody he helped so much because it was my first time and I was clueless. Its been a week and Im still going over the whole experience in my head. Definitely will be going back to escape the serial killers house.

Ive been to most of the escape rooms in the area and this one was very intricate and obviously a lot of time and effort went into building it. Great job I look forward to coming back And Doing the other rooms

We had the BEST TIME EVER!! The friendly staff and the awesome escape rooms made our night truly one of the best nights ever. We did the Zombie Room and the Serial Killer Room! Both were tremendously fun and scary at the same time!! We also had the privilege of doing 5 different haunted houses! The haunted houses alone are worth the trip. I came all the way out from Rhode Island to Buffalo to experience Locked Up Escape Games and I am looking forward to going back out soon to experience the new rooms they have available!!! I highly encourage the NY locals to go and even encourage those who need to travel a long distance to get there, because it was well worth the trip!!! Thank you so much for making our time there AWESOME!!!! Best Escape Rooms Ever!!!

Thought it was a very challenging escape room, esp having done other escape rooms in the past. I had taken my daughter for her birthday, along with 3 other teenagers for their 1st experience doing an escape room and they enjoyed it. They are talking about going back in February to do another room. This was the 1st room i havent escaped!!

It was fun but too many in the small rooms made it harder. I believe there was 12 people. 4 in my group and 8 more from another. Making a reservation was pointless and there is a picture at the end that would be emailed to us. That still have seen. Cause it was never emailed to my group. Dont know about the others.

This was absolutely the most awesome time! Cant offer a higher recommendation for Locked Up Escape Rooms; the rooms are amazing.. very high-quality and just a lot of fun.

Friends and I had a great time Escaping Pharaohs Tomb. Puzzles were creative and tied into the premise of the room very well. Decor in the rooms were spot on and the amount of items to distract us was just right compared to the items we needed to solve the puzzles.

Staff was great, very helpful and cordial. We did the Egyptian room and it had a very immersive atmosphere: props, light, music all on point. The puzzles were hit or miss; one in particular didnt make much sense, we thought; but a couple of them were really fun to solve. Would like to go back to try the harder rooms (this one was the easiest).

We had a party of 10 and it was awesome. We did the zombie room and our zombie (C.J.) was great. Jess was the girl who ran our room and she was awesome ad well. I want to go back so bad and I will do that soon. Serial killer here we come.....

We loved the “Serial Killer” room. The sets are elaborate, the puzzles challenging, but not impossible. The setup encourages teamwork. This is our second visit to Locked Up, and we will surely go back.

This was an amazing experience, great design and amazing puzzles. Very interactive. Our guide was absolutely fantastic and really set the mood for the fun that was ahead. The employees who are there truly love their job and are passionate about the customers having a wonderful experience from the moment you step through the door. It is also in a really neat setting. We did the Tomb escape room and it was really amazing and full of detail we were able to escape with many laughs and sand in our shoes so choose footwear wisely.

Had a blast in the zombie room!! The actor, Rob, was awesome and we all had so much fun we came back for another round after dinner. Been to a couple escape rooms before here and this one was by far the best!! Really big and story-driven rooms. Great fun!

All I can say is wow. This place is incredible. Got the record on their new room with my and all the puzzles were crazy. 11/10 would go again. CJ, CODY, ROB AND MALLORY were all amazing game masters! Quite the good scares all around. Will come back for the last room

Lots of fun. Great friendly staff. Our family of 7 escaped from the zombie with 7 min to spare. Shout out to Jeff the zombie on 11/9/19 as well as our game master Jess. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.

My girlfriend took me as a surprise visit. We happened to choose the hardest escape room for our first time, but our game master Nigel was awesome at explaining rules and making the experience fun as her, her friend, and me worked out way through the Serial Killer’s home. It was so amazing that there were multiple rooms, and it was so well thought out ! Definitely a great experience and we will be coming back to do more once im in town again ! Too fun ! The props were amazing, the story line killed it, and it jus helps when you have a well thought out game to play ~ thank you

We attempted the Pharoahs Tomb escape room with six people. The decoration, puzzles, and atmosphere are very well done. The lighting was a little too dim at times to read, so we would have to keep running back into the main room. That could be considered part of the experience, though, given the fictional setting. Having six people was a good number, but at the beginning we did have too many people trying to crowd around the first area with clues. Four might be a better number for this puzzle, but six was fine once we were rolling. With a few little hints we almost escaped the room in time. We would definitely recommend this experience. Note that, although the Pharoahs Tomb escape room was mildly scary with a couple of skeletons and mummies and some noisy doors, the entrance and lobby of the building has zombies with injuries and other such props, and the escape room is accessed through some dark hallways. All of this might be too much for young children.

Our game master was Mallory (I hope I spelled that right) and we were in the Pharoahs tomb. Yall this escape room was so fun. Its not only a great teamwork exercise but it also was so cool! Seeing all the secret doors and riddles to solve.. it was worth every penny and were 100% coming back

I did the Terminal escape room in a group of 8 and it was brilliant! Great puzzles and tough to get out but made it happen with 43 seconds to spare! Highly recommend!

Ive been to many escape rooms and this one is best. It has many special effects and props to make the escape more interesting and exciting. The serial killer room was filled with interesting clues and props to keep us guessing what to expect next. We did not finish getting through the various rooms within the 1 hour time limit but it was still fun and challenging. The staff showed us what we needed to do to complete the escape on our way out. I look forward to trying the other rooms in the near future.

My group had a great time at Locked Up. The sets were awesome, staff was super cool, and the experience was wonderful. The room was tough and had a variety of puzzles and clues to figure out. It was not predictable at all. I am really hoping to go back for another room in the near future. Highly recommend going!

Our group had a super fun time. This was actually the first Escape Room we made it “out” of. We had 5 people this time. We normally do 4 people and I think the 5th person actually made a difference. Also the Pharaoh’s tomb room was amazingly designed and I hope that we get to do the other rooms in the future.

We had a great time!!We went as a group of four and did all three rooms. They had by far the best atmosphere of any escape room we have been to before. The decor was awesome it was like entering a movie set (especially Pharoahs Tomb). In the Zombie room there were some glitches with some locks but overall it was well done. Rob Zombie was a good mix of creepy and helpful.Would highly suggest checking it out! Thanks to Jess for being an awesome games master! We will be back for the haunted houses for sure.

Had a great time for our bachelor party group. The staff was very nice, the Zombie was an amazing actor. We had a great time trying to dodge the zombie and figure out the clues. The space is also huge. Would definitely come back here to try the other rooms.

What a great experience it was!Me, my husband, and our 3 teenage children got thiiiiiiiiis close to completing the Serial Killer trial. Its pretty tough and takes a lot of critical thinking and communication.Scott and another one of the managers were extremely down-to-earth and made the experience that much better.Well definitely be giving it another go and recommend everyone to give it a shot!

We’ve done a lot of escape rooms, but this was by far one of my favorite if not the best. We were locked in a room with a zombie. Not to give away any spoilers, but it was a unique experience that brought a whole new level of intrigue to the genre. The actor was amazing, the staff were great. Definitely will return to do the others.

We all loved it! It was one one of the best experiences we’ve had. It was scary suspenseful the clues really helped. They won’t let you die. Great fun! Would definitely do it again.

Nigel was a great game Host helped out alot but me and my girlfriend had a great Valentines day date with this we actually made it through with 6 minutes left only thing was a it was a little cold in there but still had a great time definitely going back

Went to the escape room (Zombie version) on Saturday night (9/28) had Nigel as our game master, didnt catch the name of the Zombie. Went with a group of friends for a birthday celebration, got teamed up with a mother and her son, but it was super fun even with strangers. We didnt escape... we are now Zombies! LOL it was a blast and a really good scare! Would definitely do this again!

Fun but really to dimly lit to see anything. Takes the fun away from figuring out the clues if you cant see. They took our cell phones so we did not have a flashlight except a blacklight flashlight in one of the rooms that doesnt work that well. They control the lights so they can slow you down when you are getting close so you cant see. Fun with friends but frustrating because you cant see

This was probably the most intense and elaborate escape room that weve ever done. It was fun extremely challenging and were definitely going back for more!

In an awesome room there filled with zombie - had the best time trying to find and figure out our clues before Mr. Ed did us in ! There was screaming and chaos but we lived to tell the tale. This was our second trip to Locked-Up Escape Games (Pharaohs Tomb was also awesome). Chris set us up, was our clue master and then told us about all they had to offer - Fantastic Escape Rooms and the Best of Haunted Houses. Everything there is down to the last detail - you feel like you are truly immersed in the place its supposed to be - gets the heart pumping and adrenaline rushing. Will definitely go back to try Serial Killer and the Haunted Rooms ! Thanks for an amazing experience with a special shout out to our favorite Zombie, Mr Ed !!

This place mixed scary and critical thinking to make one awesome and worth while escape room for just about everyone.

Good time. Challenging. My only let down is that the front doors were locked when we arrived although we werent the first reservation for the day. Maybe notify the customer with the confirmation email that the doors arent open?
