This was such a fun experience! The owner really helped us get started and was just an awesome dude! The beers were amazing! We had some great music! I cannot wait to do this again!

I brought my fiance here forher birthday last night. We had a BLAST. We were the only 2 in there but it was still a great environment. Local craft beers were available w/ good music and our teacher... Elise did a fantastic job coaching us on the proper technique and even a few trick throws. We will definitely be coming back with a larger party !

This was way more fun than I expected it to be. Plus, they have mead! Along with lots of other great beers and a rockin soundtrack over the speakers.

It was really fun and Elise’s instructions and tips to throw the axes were very helpful. Axe throwing is pretty fun and it is not as hard as I thought it would be. Also, I totally recommend the meads. I think they definitely helped my accuracy in throwing for sure.

My first time ever axe throwing and it was AWESOME!!! It took a little to get the hang of it but it was so much fun! Great atmosphere as well! It got a hot in there but as long as you stay hydrated you should be fine. Id recommend it to anyone! Great stress relief as well!

Being someone who really shouldn’t throw things due to spatial recognition and timing, I wasn’t sure what to expect when invited here for a friends birthday fun day. I was super surprised and Randy, the owner, is an awesome teacher and funny. We all had a blast and love the little area of Chattanooga this place is in! Definitely check it out!

OMG, this place is so much fun!! Came here for a Yelp event not knowing what to expect and had a complete blast! The staff was professional and friendly. They showed us exactly what to do and watched us throw, giving us tips on how to adjust to hit the target. Safety was taken seriously. Within minutes we were hitting targets. They have music playing and the axes hitting is loud so if noise is a problem, dont go. They offer a good selection of canned beverages. I definitely would come back!

Stress relieving, fun, and kinda embarrassing but in a good way! The owner, Randy, is also super cool and really into his business and it’s refreshing. I can’t wait to go again!!!

What an awesome night! Booked an hour as part of a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. Marlie, our axe-pert (I hope I got her name right), gave easy to follow instructions with a sense of humor. The one-handed axe gave a great lightweight option, and the two-handed axe really tested our talents. An hour was enough time to hone our technique and work up a good sweat. I can’t wait to go back. Would be an awesome group outing, or double date option. Well worth the very reasonable cost.

The experience was to last an hour. We were to begin at 6:45. We arrived at 6:35 and signed necessary release forms. It was 7:05 before the entire group for the 6:45 time slot had arrived, signed, and was ready to listen to the safety information and demonstration. At 7:40 we were told we had 5 minutes remaining. We had more around 35 minutes to play. This was very disappointing. It is also very crowded. There could be more space from the throwing area to the wall in order to walk behind people. Also 12 inches between each throwing area, as people to our left were literally on top of us. It was more uncomfortable than enjoyable.

So so much fun! Definitely go with friends and have a blast! You get the general hang of it after 15 minutes or so. You can keep score if you want with whiteboards, but that takes away from the fun I think! Also, look for Groupon deals too!

I never thought that throwing an axe would be so satisfying and fulfilling but there is something about getting that axe to stick on the bullseye that would have you smiling for hours!!! Not to mention the Bragging rights that come with it!!! Hehe... so come on down and give it a try ... i did and Im hooked.... love this place! The instructors were so patient and knowledgeable they really are experts on axe throwing and are always ready to guide you... I was able to get my axe to not only stick but i was bullseye thanks to them!!! Cant wait to return with all my friends. Also you cann bring your own drinks except for hard liquor. So dont be shy!

Nowhere else anywhere near Chattanooga can you encourage your inner Viking spirit except at Valkyrie Axe Throwing.This is a must do activity and takes no previous axe experience. You don’t need to be angry and there is no need to think violent thoughts.Axe throwing is cathartic in so many ways and anywhere else, trying to do this will get you locked up.But here, the environment is safe. The atmosphere is festive and the experience is exhilarating. Put on your grunt face and come throw sharp steel at wood!!!

Who thought throwing axes would be so much fun? Its my 2nd time here, and its just as fun as it was the first time. It can be a bit of a workout for your arms, but still fun while you do it. Added bonus, dress up as a lumberjack when you come. The staff are very friendly. Theyre great at giving you tips in throwing the axe better. Worth a place to check out!

My first time throwing axes and once I got the hang of it, I really enjoyed focusing on the movement and not worrying about anything else!Staff was extremely personable and great at calming my anxiety (40 folks here, so it was busy!!) Of all these axes being thrown around.Laid back environment, some good beer options, 2 flat screen TVs, unisex restrooms, and BYO food.

Found this place walking through Chattanooga. Such a fun stop. They guys working there were super helpful and showed us everything we needed to do. It was the highlight of our stop on Chattanooga.

Fun place for a hang out. With large groups you get to throw less as they only put you in one lane. Not much space for walking behind the throwers which can be scary. Fun place and good price for what you get to do.

Checked them out during Con Nooga and I really enjoyed my experience. Definitely will be going to their location to throw more axes!
