As far as Coronavirus testing goes it was fast and painless. If your going to get tested this is the place. Im sure the the school is good as well.

Worst school ever... never organized! I’m glad this is my last dealing with them!

I go I go to East Lake Academy and they are the worst school ever ever been to because all the teachers are Petty for whatever we do and you get in trouble for spending for every little thing like if you rip a kids paper what I sow call Did a teacher blamed it on me and they say imma get RPC which is pretty much suspension but I didnt get it

Student here from 2004 - 2007. Im going to return what the school has given me. Sure there was a few nice people in there, but they remind me of why teachers should stay out of people lives. Wasnt enough you teachers assumed that Id end up a gangster on the street and never helped me when I struggled, too busy fanning over my much smarter and easier to learn sister. She didnt have learning disabilities so I guess that was why. Anyway the final nail in the coffin was convincing my sister to go on the path she was going. Thanks, now this family has a sibling who thinks she belongs elsewhere.Guess I should of figured, all your hopes was in her and not me. Teachers turned their heads at me, even when I saw them outside of the school because they assumed Id be a bad one. These teachers at those years failed me and I hope I never see their faces again. Years later Im in a home and away from all the gangs and such they so thought Id be around. Based on the recent reviews I can guess it never got much better for others.I wasnt the only one, thats why it was so hard for many teachers to get the respect they wanted. Sure some students was bad, some to the point I just wanted to punch out and tell to shut the heck up so the class could go by faster. But the attempted slick insults and not giving students much hope to begin with and punishing the good with the bad, even if the good attempted to silence the bad made more trouble for them than many could handle.Im giving it two stars because my time there wasnt filled with hope or excitement. Disappointment awaited me there. The little hope I had was burned away when they turned to my sister and helped her out and gave her good things. She wasnt struggling, I was struggling. Anyway the teachers here really hurted my feelings. Im doing much better now where I am, but I have nothing to thank them for. I was one of their better to work with students and someone who never caused them trouble.I got no thanks for it. Anyway Im done, I hope they see this and know who they are.

Glad the school year over, worse school ever, so glad my children will not be returning. Staff talk with their hands, talk to kids like their they homies. Just not a great influence on kids. My children went there as milk carton kids by the end of the year they come home like gangsters, project hood kids

My son attend here his 6th grade year and it was the worse school year ever..

Staff is not professional and tell many lies!!!

The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude, degrading, disrespectful, and would not give out the registration packet when we just moved here a couple days ago. She not only refused to give the packet, she said she didnt know who we were trying to bring in to her school.... now I see where the other reviews were coming from... my son is a straight A student in all gifted classes. He plays football, basketball, and double bass in orchestra. I would have been bringing an asset, but now I am looking into home school because there is no way I want to bring my child into that environment.

This is the WORSE school I have seen. The principals do not communicate with parents. They refuse to return your calls, and my child is new to the TN area. My son has been repeatedly bullied and has begun to fight back. He has been threatened, hit, and spit on...he has been suspended and I have not recieved phone calls. He has been laughed at and mocked by the adults. I have called and left numerous messages and they keep giving me the run around. My husband and I were not even sure if our son passed until the year began this year because my son never got online access at this school to show me his grades...they forgot to put him in the system until just last week. Sending him to this school was a horrible mistake. It was hard enough we moved in the middle of his first year in middle school, away from everything he knows. Now he literally has to fight his way through each school day. He used to enjoy school...now its a constant battlefield for him. I will not tolerate this much longer. I will be making a formal complaint with the district Monday morning. Parents, if you care about your children, dont send them here. They will not learn anything but how to fight and be laughed at by the adults.

I went to this school and it has not changed. There are kids that bully and they dont do anything about it. For example my child doesnt want to go to this school everyday. It is also boring at this school. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here. The teachers are very mean.

Wow, I was just about to enroll my nephews in this school after moving down here this weekend. However, after reading these reviews Im having second thoughts. Its weird too, because when I went there the principal (before I knew who she was) was standing outside and I asked her where to go to enroll them, and she just looked at me and pointed to the door. I remember thinking, man...that janitor is pissed! But after learning that she was the principal, I was pissed and terrified at the same time. My nephews come from a rough background, and the last thing they need is a principal with a care-less additive. Parents, we have to stop letting these schools get away with treating our kids any kind of way. Thanks for the heads up.
