We had a blast. Great rate enormous fun. Very clean with sanitizer easy to get. Every little while they do a ultraviolet light treatment to clean the games. Definitely worth checking out for a couple hours.

If you are looking for a fun time and a trip back to the golden age of the arcade, Decades is worth the trip and trivial admission cost. Play as much as you want for as long as you like (the admission fee covers all plays). The pinball machine collection is museum quality, and all of your favorite video games are here...Donkey Kong, Centipede, Joust (maybe that is just mine), etc. Great for kids/family friendly. Pack some snacks...youre going to be here for a while.

This place is fantastic!! The staff was great, they have a massive selection of games, comfortable facility. Dozens of pinball games, and most of the popular vintage arcade games. Well worth the trip and the price of admission.

Great arcade for adults and kids. Excellent pinball selection. Many vintage machines with some great modern pinball games too. Great selection of classic video games. Would be even better with more modern titles. What I love about the flat entrance fee is that I can really get into a pinball game and dont feel cheated when my first two balls go straight into the gutter. We also didnt have any problems with people camped out at one game not letting other people have a chance. I would highly recommend a visit.

What an amazing arcade! Infinitely better than a Dave & Busters!! I love the fact that you just pay to get in and dont need to put quarters in the machines. It creates a different atmosphere that allows you to play without any thought of wasting your quarters. It is not a greedy, money hungry place like typical corporations. I wish I had checked it out sooner. Worth seeing for yourself!

Went to Dacades for my 30th birthday with a few friends. It was a BLAST! The only suggestion I would make is the pricing options. It seemed like the only available option was to pay $12 for the day. That would be great if you have the time to be there all day but if youre just there for an hour or so, its obviously not. Seems like a pay as you will structure alongside a charge for the day would resolve this.ANYWAY will be back. LOVED IT!

Employer organised an evening here for us. What an amazing blast from the past! So many classic games and pinball machines and working so well. Could happily spend days in here. My #1 all time favourite pin ball: The Adams Family was up and running, sadly my reaction speeds arent what they were but still immense fun. Will definitely be returning.

Decades Arcade (formerly Pauls Pinball Palace) is a fun 80s style arcade but with plenty of old and new Pinball Machines. Housed in a funky old warehouse, the lineup of games is always improving. Great for families, geeks, and pinheads alike.

So cool that we have a local place like this! Most times you have to go to a larger city to get so many retro cabinets and pinball machines in one place.

Easily three hours! If you are into pinball this is the place to be. The machines are in incredible shape for their age and maybe even your teenager will get into pinball too. Dont forget the cheap soda and candy!

The pinball is just okay and the arcade games are too, but the fact that they prohibit customers from bringing WATER into the facility is unconscionable in the world today. To FORCE me to buy bottled water Just to make a buck, so the plastic can end up polluting our oceans is out of touch with the social conscience and care of the planet that we should have today. Also surprising to see such a policy in a place like Charlottesville. The interesting thing is that if I had been able to drink my own water I would have spent money on snacks. So in the long run they lost revenue with a very stupid un-woke policy.

I loved this place. The nostalgia of this place is incredible. If you are looking for a way to be entertained for a few hours, this is the place. The classic arcade games took me back to my child hood in a way that is hard to describe. I had fun and will definitely go back again.

A friend had their 50th birthday party there! Flat fee rents out the place then bring in your own food n drink. I went in thinking I was going to be bored but once I started playing, it was hard to leave! Huge collection of vintage (all working) pinball and arcade games, even retro video games and skee ball! Once the private party was over and the place opened up to the public, it was mostly adults that rolled in, ha! There was a line when they unlocked the door.

Went here on a whim for a friend of mines birthday last week and we had an absolute blast! I cannot think of a better way to take a night out and have a few hours worth of fun for $12 per person. The staff was incredibly hospitable, the games were fun, and the variety was endless. To top it off, on of our friends had never played arcade games or a real pinball machine and now she can’t wait to go back. If I could give this place more stars, I would. So if you’re looking for a fun place to take someone or just have a night out solo I couldn’t recommend a better place and I’m sure you’ll agree!

Decades Arcade features a unique and diverse offering of pinball machines and classic video games. Several early solid state pinball tables are in pristine condition and contain updated software (Genie looks and plays awesome) with contain modern features such as a skill shot and timed ball saver. Pinball tables span several eras from the 60s (Magic City) to modern Stern (Metallica)/Jersey Jack (The Hobbit) classics. Decades also has Xenon, Comet, and Paragon (one of the best wide bodies ever created). Paragon is in excellent condition. By the way, how many arcades have a Williams Travel Time in good condition? The classic video sections includes Gorf (excellent condition), Arch Rivals (predecessor to NBA Jam), Mario Brothers, Turbo (extremely hard to find in excellent condition), Q*Bert and Popeye. The best part of the deal is two fold: low pricing ($12 all you can play, $8 for children) and well-maintained machines. Also, Decades offers monthly tournaments.UPDATE: I was extremely impressed how Paul has handled the reopening of Decades from COVID-19 prevention to the upkeep of machines to adding additional pinball games.

The Palace has one of the best pin collections Ive ever had the pleasure of playing. I mean that not only in the insane amount of variety in machines available, but their working order as well. Paul is passionate about keeping his machines in working order, and does an excellent job of doing so. Problems that arise with machines are addressed quickly, and youll never have a yeah that flipper has been out for a month experience at Pauls. Were truly blessed, I feel, to have such an incredible place to play pinball in Cville.
