This bar has so much depth! There are 3 levels and so many different things to do. There’s an arcade, several bars, and downstairs dance floor. So much fun!!! Stacey and Shauna were absolutely amazing and made our anniversary trip so celebratory and amazing!

Stopped in this bar after dinner. The name caught my attention on the way to restaurant because one of our favorite movies is A Night At the Roxbury. We were out for my sister and brother in law anniversary so i asked if we could stop in and they agreed. Best decision ever! It had the Roxbury movie playing on the screens. The music was all 80s and after the movie was over they played music videos with the songs. In a room off to the side was an arcade with 80s video games. It was Halloween weekend so people came in dressed which made it more fun. There were other floors so there’s plenty of room for people. We went early and the crowds started coming in around 11ish. Definitely recommend for a fun night out if you enjoy the 80s as much as we do.

Its the best place to go and dance. Everyone is friendly and out for a good time.The music is perfect. The people are all ages.So it is easier to mix in and have a lot of fun.

One of the only “clubs” I’ll go to. Such a great atmosphere. Great music. And the basement reminds me of a frat house in college. Helps me relive my colleges days and I’m all for it!

Really cool place that will bring back memories. Just go and you wont regret it!

Fun place to hang out with friends

Totally awesome place. Great music and people. Very mixed crowd. Young or older, you will love it. DJ kept the party going all night. The bartenders are gorgeous and friendly. A definite break from hearing all hip-hop and rap music all night long.

Club was jam packed with dancers, drinkers, and just down party people. Good DJ on the bottom and top. A bit muggy at times from being so packed. Great jams to vibe with. Bartenders are quick and cool. Me and my cousin had a blast at this spot. :)

DO NOT go here if you are expecting as advertised. Went on a Friday night. No seating. Simply two dance floors and a bar. 18+ crowd. Mainly 18 to young 20s. Save your money. Go somewhere else.DO NOT GO HERE!!

Came to town for a bachelorette and our theme of the weekend was 90s, the bride wanted us all to dress up as different Brittney’s and go out. This was the PERFECT place for that! It felt like partying in a basement up north, we all felt so nostalgic with the glow sticks and music and everyone had a great time, great mix of people!

They let a few white girls who were 15 years old in and I overheard them say they do it all the time. The African American bouncers are really cool too. They let us take our Heinekens outside the front door.

It’s an awesome place to go and dance and listen to great music. We had a ball. I will be back.

Service is easily ticked off. They’ll kick you out if simple addition is involved in paying a tab. Despite the employees, very fun place to be on a Friday night.

Moms night out has never been so much fun! In town for a visit and we discovered this amazing spot! Deena couldn’t have been more helpful- even wrote down some great spots for us to check out during the weekend. Love the music, loved the patio- we will return!!!

Great environment regardless of what youre looking for. Outside area is great to socialize and theres also spots to dance. Drinks are a little pricey but not too bad for charlotte. Would recommend

The drinks arent going to knock your socks off, but they will fuel the ecstasy of what is the best generational music in all of history. Spend a few minutes here and you will cave to belting out lyrics while 80-90s nostalgia pumps through speakers, tvs, and your veins. Just give in and let it all out.

Loved the old school hits! Downstairs was super hot but when you cram a ton of people in a basement what do you expect? Bartenders were nice and accommodating.

On Saturday (1/13/2018) there were multiple reports of phones being stolen at the Roxbury. The bouncers did not do anything about the situation when 6 of us came forward to report it. My cross-body purse was on me the entire night. My friend and I both had our phones pick pocketed out of our purses. When we first entered the club after paying our cover, a bouncer asked my friend and I (both females) to take our phones out of our purses and show him. My male friend was not asked to take his phone out of his pocket. At the time we didnt think much of it so we both complied but immediately put our phones back in our purses. Later that night our phones were stolen. After I realized my phone was stolen I overheard another group talking about missing phones. It was a group of 7 females and 3 of them were suddenly missing their phones. The staff did nothing about the situation.

Great venue with fantastic music from the 80s and 90s. Loved how they had a basement AND a classic game room. Cant wait to come back when it gets warmer to enjoy the patio area.

No doubt in my mind that The Roxbury will always be the best club in Charlotte. Total sickness and mental illness 80s & 90s music. The staff is always a joy to be around. To bad Im moving back to my home State soon. I will deeply miss this amazing club & staff. Thank you.

Based on the recommendations of a couple of friends I decided to celebrate my birthday here on a Friday night. It was my first time and most of my friends first time coming here but we all enjoyed it and had a fun night! Everything is 80s/90s themed including the decor and drink names. Its two floors with a bar on each floor, there is a dance floor downstairs and more of a seated area on the main floor but you can hear the music anywhere. They also have a large patio area with another bar and seating which is where we spent the last hour of the night once we got too warm inside (they had free cups of water outside too). It isnt your typical club scene which was a breath of fresh air, we werent bothered by anyone throughout the night and everyone there seemed pretty cool and relaxed. The DJ takes requests (80s/90s music of course) and did play the songs we requested. Overall it was a really cool place that I would go back to anytime! The cover was $5 on a Friday.The only negative was that the mixed specialty drinks were a bit pricey and not strong. They had some drink specials but nothing too appealing to my friends and I. Also, its 21+ only for anyone thats wondering. My sister wasnt able to celebrate with me because of that, I figured it would be 18+ based on the theme of the club and it wasnt advertised anywhere online.

This is a fun spot, and I dont particularly like music from the 80s. However, the basement is like being at a frat party, and the place must have been 100 degrees. Drinks were very reasonable.

Good nightclub. Brings me back to the old ol days. Theres a lot more 90s than 80s music and gets busy Saturday night. The cover charge went up to $7 but still a great place to go for some fun dancing.

Great music, but both times I went the arcade was half broken. The one game I did use looked like it worked but only one button worked and I just sat there and died or jumped. They said they knew the machines were broken and wont fix them. They basically just keep them there to steal your money and hope you dont ask for it back. Also the door guys are pretty cool.

Great place. Worth the $7 cover charge, but you have to watch the barenders. They tried to change the price on the same drink as well as the second one was mostly ice.

Awesome Atmosphere ! 5 dollar cover Charge. Had 5$ Fireballs and 3 $ draft I believe. Top Floor has bar on right side, Huge TVs playing old school music videos. Has a small arcade on the top floor to really add to the old school vibe. Towards the back of the club there are stairs leading down to the Dance floor. Everyone was sooo awesome and just showing nothing but good Vibes and love for those eras of music. Such and Awesome experience , Especially the Spin the Bottle Dance off game. I would advise people to pre game alittle because the bar tenders do get overwhelmed , so by the time you get your drinks you would prob lose your buzz during the wait lol .they also have 80s and 90s themed drinks.

This club is great for old skool 80s and 90s music!! The ppl there were friendly and very enjoyable to watch dance. Loved the tvs showing all the videos to the songs playing!! Prices are very reasonable for this being a downtown club.

The atmosphere inside this club is vibrant, unfortunately your experience may be ruined by poor customer service. From the bouncer, to the bar staff, to their social media manager, it is evident this business does not know how to treat its customers.

True to the hype, starts 80s then quickly advances to 90s...good staff/security and decent crowd to boot!
