Beautiful set up. First thing walked in greeted as soon as I entered. I sat down to a soft seat felt like I sat on a pillow amazing designs. I got carried away exploring the details in the decor. I felt comfortable and free. I took all the pictures I wonted and no one said a word. The food just amazing. I will definitely go back...a must visit place!!!

Now this 5 star rating was earned because of how the manager made things right. I can definitely appreciate a genuine effort to take care of the customer after an error on your part. Our server was new and did her best as well. We will definitely be back again!!!

The ambiance was NEW, young, eccentric. We had 4 different burgers on their menu and they were all superB! The coleslaw was good and the brussel sprouts were even better. Service was fast and courteous. Very happy with our experience.

Went to ink and ivy for and early lunch today and had the most pleasant experience! The bartender Rachel on the first floor was so welcoming and gave the most exceptional service. She knew how to make every random drink order I could muster. All in all a wonderful experience and I will be back!

Decent food. I got the pasta and it wasnt bad and changed it for shrimp instead of chicken. the customer service is not the best. Its like they are nice but they take forever to bring things u order or come around and check on you. The music is not good. My first time there for a date I met offline.

Worst Place. They absolutely no covid precautions. I thought they would gotten better since there bad health review but I guess I was wrong . I also witness a male bouncer trying to hit a women and another bouncer intervened and they continued to speak horribly about her in front of the guest waiting to get in. Unacceptable for the classy image this place is trying to portray.

A great place for good food and a great party. The decor and venue set up is very creative. Great opportunity to enjoy various flavors. Nice variety within the menu. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts, lamb, chicken, and veggies. Enough for two to share. Great drinks and specials and the Adult Capri Sun was delicious!

I went here with my friends yesterday, it was our very first time going to the restaurant. We were excited because we’d heard good things about the restaurant. First off, the service was super slow. We ordered our food and waited an hour to get it. They gave us water in the beginning and we never got a refill until we asked for one before we left. I also ordered boneless buffalo wings & fries and I got food poisoning. After I got home and had crazy stomach pains and I was super nauseous, I threw up everything. Definitely won’t be going back.

Server was good but the food was the worst honestly. I was very disappointed with the food and didnt pay for it nor eat it... Raw calamari (way undercooked) and brussle sprouts very bad... If it wasnt for the company and the drinks I would have left right when the plate hit the table.

This restaurant is super unique. The name says it all - ivy and ink is everywhere. Classy, yet has an electric type of atmosphere. The service was great - super nice staff. The spinach & artichoke dip is incredible - creamy & delicious. The sweet potato fries are unreal - tasted very fresh and seasoned very well. My friend and I both had salads w/ salmon and it was a plentiful portion. Great place to dine-in or sit back & relax to watch some football and drink some beer.

No social distancing whatsoever. While walking by saw patio packed and people all over each other. This is fine if you dont care and you dont mind keeping everything else shut down, but you would think this restaurant group would care about their peers and not be so greedy and out for themselves.

Ink n Ivy provides an inconsistent policy regarding private tables/sections. One could say it appears to be applied by racial bias as the other groups that were predominantly not minority were treated completely different and held to a lower standard of bottle minimums.I have grave concerns regarding the manager changing her mind about the initial 1 bottle minimum discussed with us before moving to the private section that magically became a 2 bottle minimum. This was not our the first time at the establishment nor could we not afford to be there.It is completely inappropriate to judge one group and hold them to a higher financial standard than the other 3 groups that came after us. Going forward I will encourage others to not go to the establishment and to not host events (should Covid regulations allow promoters to eventually do so.) Ink n Ivy should be ashamed for allowing biases FROM MANAGEMENT to exist particularly in the social climate we find ourselves in.

Really cool place in uptown #charlotte !! Although this was a business meeting, ( #palatineparcels) it turned into a cool spot to share a drink and enjoy the beautifully lit up skyline of the city.The vibe is hip happening, with an outdoor patio to enjoy the crisp winter air.Right on the corner is a parking lot, which is super convenient and during the day you can walk off a meal at Romare Bearden park, located across the street.I would DEFINITELY recommend this spot for a drink. A girls night out, an after hours office party, or even a #firstdate

I didnt dislike the place, I had a problem because when the waitress comes to your table they had on a mask but it was not over there noise.

I have visited Ink N Ivy on various occasions. My favorite was visiting for lunch. I got the Shrimp and Grits lunch special and it was delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had. If you looking for good food and service I suggest going during their less busier hours. If you go during a big game or weekend expect large crowds and wait times. Ink N Ivy does a great job handing game days with various bar stations set up throughout the restaurant.

Understood - COVID 19 - But with just 4 tables full, and at least 5 servers around, we couldnt even get our drinks (wine NOT cocktails) for more than an hour. Asked for a dog bowl, nothing for an hour. Appetizers and food - no point talking of that. I mean if you cant even serve a simple drink, why are you even open?

Every time I come In, the spot is empty and the service is still trash... you have to seat yourself, it’s like no team structure every waiter for themselves.. when you enter it’s not welcoming and I’m not sure if it’s because I’m African American or what..

A lot of really good food for a price. Servers were friendly and helpful. The steak sandwich is huge, very delicious, and cooked perfectly. The picture only shows a third of the size of the sandwich.

Great food and service - even during COVID!

The food was great but the service was horrible. No drinks refills and the managers excuse was the waitress had a party. Guess they are more important than a party of two. We tip good too but I wont be doing it this time. Now Im sitting here waiting on my bill and shes walked passed me 20 times within the last 10 mins... ughhhh. Get it together.

When my brother and I was there at ink n ivy, the bartender that we had was very terrible, no good customer service, she kept walking away when we tried to order drinks, then when I had ask for a to go plate she told me that she sorry that her ride was waiting on her also another bartender had creeped behind me on my back. I had kindly told her to not do that ever again, she had caught an attitude then walked away. We had a good time at first but then when we got to the bar that’s when all of what I’ve said happened. I wouldn’t mind going back, it’s just that some of the bartenders and waitresses need to work on their customer service that’s all.

Good food nice calm atmosphere for a Monday night

Atmosphere is nice, trendy spot. Great location, parking (pay by space) and security is right outside door. Weekends of course are busy. Ive been about 3-4x. Service declines when busy or big party. Last time, server forgot an order and didnt bring drink refills after food arrived. But he didnt write it down. (Ive noticed severs at a few restaurants dont write down anymore. Idk if thats supposed to be impressive, but Id rather you write down and impress me with everything served together, hot, without asking because youre proactive.) Best dishes so far have been Lamb, shrimp and grits, and a friend liked the steak.

Great service but far too many people were there and none were social distancing. I didn’t even finish my food because the bartender had to constantly play bouncer as many people kept crowding around the bar. No manager in sight to help as the staff seemed completely overwhelmed.

I got the Philly cheese steak. It was great but I was a little disappointed that they don’t carry honey mustard. But the overall experience was great!! It’s a very cute restaurant & I don’t think they are pricey. We had a great waiter as well!!

While I did give this restaurant an average rating I will say it was only due to their subpar management . My friends and I visited today to celebrate my friend going off to military training. We sat on the patio due to the ambience and the seating being available as soon as possible. The sun then came up and there were a few girls sitting on the side where the sun was and their makeup began to run and they began to sweat . We advised our server ( was was great, and handled an entire party of 10 by herself ) that we wanted to move. She said sure and we began to move into the shade . Immediately we were approached by a guy in a red shirt with dreads who stated we couldn’t move there due to social distancing . We were totally understanding. Not even 15 minutes later . A party of 10+ moves to the exact same location. We were puzzled as to how that party could move there but we couldn’t . We asked our server who stated she could go get the manager for us. So instead of the manager coming out they sent the server to come back to tell us the table signed a “waiver” when they reserved the table . We would have preferred the manager tell us this instead of sending the server who had already worked a table of 10 to do their “dirty work”. While observing we also noticed what seemed to be the guy in the red shirt knew the people at the table and I guess instead of inconveniencing them prior to their arrival , he decided to inconvenience us due to his friends arriving soon. I would like to know Ink and Ivy proper protocol and policy when it comes to seating and availability in regards to this situation. Once I receive a response from someone who can inform me of this I’ll update my review.

My only experience with Ink N Ivy, prior to this visit, was their participation in a few local contests (grilled cheese festival and a few others). I always enjoyed their food but never went to the restaurant. Being on the list for a local brew crawl I was finally able to visit the restaurant.I say finally simple because Ink N Ivy is a little off the main section of Uptown and can easily be forgotten, especially when there are no games (they are located a stones throw from the Panthers Stadium and BB&T Ballpark).Wow! We were really impressed with this place. The service was great, quick and professional. The venue is amazing with an outdoor patio filled with tvs as well as a nicely decorated and designed interior. There was a super selection of local brews and the food was perfection. A ton of options, many staple items but a few original selections too. I am a huge fan and will definitely be back.Edit: Visited a second time and wasnt as impressed. The food was still good, not great but good, then decor and outdoor patio is still just as awesome, service seemed to be a little sub par. We had issues from multiple servers coming by to take orders at different times to not getting silverware. It wasnt horrible but not the five stars I originally gave.

Place was fun. I was in town for my birthday went to ink and ivy and fell in love with the Brussels sprouts. They were fresh with sunflower seeds, feta cheese, and whit bbq sauce it was an amazing taste. I also ordered the salmon it was alright. The mac and chees I was not good, and looked diff from the pics I seen on yelp.Definitely try the sprouts you will not be disappointed.

Best spot for professionals who love to have fun

Unfortunately my plate of food was AWFUL!! The chef or “some one” deliberately poured salt in my food. I had asked for new rice because what they served me was mushy. It just went down hill after asking for new rice!! Will NOT be going back!

Really nice atmosphere and food was delicious. Our waitress was not very attentive (had to ask for refills), but she was nice and helpful. The only complaint... it was HOT, almost uncomfortable, and the bathroom was like a sauna!

The DJ was awesome. Drinks were great and affordable. The crowd was mixes and professional. I would definitely recommend. This was my second time coming out there. It was great.

While down a the Charlotte Christmas Market, we wandered into this place. What a great surprise! A fun, lively atmosphere on the veranda. My wife loved the Bloody Mary bar and the Pork Belly Sliders were excellent!

Please is very cool and right down town Charlotte. Was here on a weeknight for work trip and website stated they closed at 2, showed up at 11:30 but the bartender was definitely ready to close. She was doing all her closing side work so the place stunk like bleach. Not the best smell while trying to have a beer.

It was mediocre. The wait staff was iffy and the business was mostly empty at 1pm on a Tuesday. It took about 16 minutes to get water for both myself and my dog. They do have an outdoor patio which does make it pet-friendly. The view was nice but it just was not worth the time. Food was ok, the calamari was not good. I would maybe look elsewhere for somewhere to eat.

Nice restaurant with a large selection of cocktails

Buffalo chicken sandwich is a DE boned fine and it is huge and delicious. Server was absolutely amazing. I should have got her name because she was perfect. Prices are very reasonable.

I was with a party of about 25 people and although we called ahead we had to wait about an hour before being seated. We had one waitress and although she was good it was almost impossible for her to keep up. Other staff members walked around aimlessly while she did all work. The customer service from the manager Mike and other teammates was horrible.

Eat drink and relax the best description !! They have options to sit outside too . Very packed on weekends you can hardly sit outside and enjoy the lovely view of the garden just opposite to the restaurant . Good quality of food. Humble servers encountered . Overall a nice place to chill and talk out loud . Only one drawback is that with the packed house inside if you sit apart you can hardly hear what the other person says .( noisy )

Service was good. Ordered black eye pea burger which was very tasty! The side of broccoli was, however, NOT GOOD! (And I love broccoli.) Others at the table enjoyed their food. One person said their tuna wrap was really good and 2 others said the chicken wrap was good. Id give it another go next time we attend an uptown event. Kind of noisy and difficult to have a conversation at a large table. The younger folks seemed to enjoy it though.

I only give 2 stars because of the drinks and the past experience we have had here. Every time we come to Charlotte we go there. But this time.... if I could rate below 1 star I would the bartender that waited on us, completely forgot to put in our first part of our order. It does not take 45 minutes to make brussel sprouts. Then when we ordered our main meal..... I ordered a salad and she came out much later with a burger. She said of I thought you said burger. Mind you I had said the black and blue salad with no tomatoes and she repeated that back to me. I didnt even eat it when she brought it out. She didnt charge me mind you. And bagged it up to go. But the fact that she was to busy flirting with other customers at the bar. Made it to where she messed up our order. And we just wanted to leave. This whole incident has left a bad taste in my mouth about this place. And it was one of our favorites.

I have been a very loyal customer to this place for the past year and a half; however, I will no longer be returning due to their terrible customer service.On Saturday 9/7/19, my friends and I decided to all meet up at Ink n Ivy like we usually do, we always order the bottle of champagne since they have a $15 special on Saturday and Sundays. For some reason this weekend our server Krystal gave us the bill and we were charged $52 for two bottles of champagne when it shouldve been $30. We informed her about this wondering if there was a mistake and she tries to fix it and we could see that she was asking other servers and bartenders how to change the price (I think she was new). Later, she gets her manager and they are both on the computer looking like they are trying to adjust the price. Eventually, they both come up to our table letting us know that the bottles of champagne have never been $15 and there is nothing they can do about it. We had a hard time understanding what they were saying since we go there every weekend paying the same price. In fact, we were there the Saturday before and got charged $15 for a bottle. The manager was no help at all and frankly very rude and not willing to listen to the CUSTOMER that has been giving them business for a long time. I am not sure why or how so many servers can get it wrong for the past year and charge us the same price and this weekend the price per bottle increases dramatically.To make matters worse, as were paying for the bill the bouncer comes to ESCORT us out of the building. This whole situation was ridiculous and absolutely disappointing since we all loved this place so much.

Parking as usual, anywhere in uptown isnt easy. Very aesthetically pleasing indoors and outdoors. All the staff was really nice. Unfortunately our 2nd round of drinks took too long to request compared to our 1st round. Good music. Loved the outdoor heating lamps
